“Not very often that my wife and I get an impromptu lunch date, but checking out The Social Haus made it well worth it. We kicked things off with bruschetta and goat cheese crostinis—fresh, flavorful, and a perfect start. The wings? Flat-out phenomenal. For mains, we split the Tiger Burger and the Cajun crispy chicken sandwich—both were excellent. Sindy was all about the fries, and I’ll take those house chips all day. Service was outstanding—friendly and attentive without overdoing it—and it’s exciting to hear about what’s coming next. “My friend Lisa brought me here for the first time last year, and I’ve been thinking about it ever since! I ordered the grilled chicken salad, and it was fresh, flavorful, and packed with perfectly cooked chicken. The portions were generous, the ingredients tasted fresh, and everything was prepared just right.

The atmosphere was welcoming, the service was great, and the food came out quickly. Sometimes a simple meal can be the best meal when it’s done right, and Dave’s Goalpost Bar & Grill definitely delivered. Not sure why it took us so long, probably because we already had several "favorite" fish fries. But yours just jumped to the top of the list. We were welcomed with detailed information of the passion him and his partners have for creating a friendly inviting atmosphere, as well as their dedication to keeping the establishment clean, welcoming, and maintained. They are striving to continue to update and repair the property as needed, while preserving the history of the building. We were invited for a behind the scenes VIP look at the private party bar downstairs, which is breathtaking! The honesty, transparency and pride Craig expressed for this establishment directly represents how amazing it is to patronize. We returned later for a live music set with friends and I couldn't have been more pleased with the atmosphere, the service and the pricing! “I travel for work so go here on Tuesday night for dinner. Great menu and specials. I suggest the pizza. Always a great atmosphere, very nice patrons come here. The bartender Iris is amazing, she literally handles the whole bar, brings out food orders, and so great as a bartender. I love just watching her make different drinks and socializing with customers. So sweet.
Prices are very good and like I said great specials. I go to a lot of different places in my travels but always stop here.“

“I had my brother-in-law's Celebration of Life party at the Thirsty Duck in Sussex for about 55 people. Jessica Neuhaus, the event sales manager, was great to work with and with her help we pulled off a great party. We were able to have a private part with plenty of room for everyone. Even the kids had a great time with the duck pin bowling and corn hole. We had the Southern Style BBQ dinner with pulled pork, smoked brisket and chicken. And, the food was Amazing! I had nothing but compliments from our guest and really it was all the Thirsty Duck. I highly recommend this venue for your next party. Lisa D.“
