The hot apple cider was also really hot so it kept me warm in the negative degree weather. The apple cider does taste like every single other apple cider and doesn't taste unique and not to mention it being 7 bucks. I guess the price was worth the work the staff put in though.

“THE BEST ICE CREAM YOU'LL EVER EAT! Once you try it, you'll never eat another kind! Sooooo many flavor options to try from (at least 30). They also have some dairy free options as well as Italian ices and sherbet flavors. If you tell them you have an allergy they will get freshly cleaned instruments for you.“

Creative names like Kitty Kitty bang bang which is what I tried it’s cheesecake ice cream with raspberry swirl and chocolate chunks so delicious! True creamy texture that you’d expect from Wisconsin. Really friendly and helpful just can’t say enough good things. My brother tried the exhausted parent(?name) which was bourbon espresso ice cream with chocolate. He loved it. “Chocolate Shoppe catered our wedding dessert and they were completely perfect! They bring a truck with about ten flavors including 1-2 DF flavors, and scoop into dishes or cones. The guests loved it on a hot, summer day, and it felt a lot more memorable than cake. They were super easy to work with in booking the event and the employee who worked our event was so kind. It was a huge hit and the ice cream was, of course, delicious! We would definitely book them again for a large event and would recommend them to friends.“

Got the famous orange chocolate chip — and the chocolate chips were really good and the orange ice cream was nice creamy texture but had an artificial orange flavor. I would get the other flavors next time.“

“Very convenient for campus meetings. Rooms are modern and clean....walls z bit thing (or neighbours were noisy). Amenities on the main floor are lots of campus food...even a pub. Bed was comfy. Would likely stay here again if the opportunity arises.“

“This is a local takeout place. Mostly what they have are ice cream cakes, ice cream, and their little Frozen treats. But they do have soda and hot dogs as well. Not bad if you want to grab something to go. They have a lot of dessert options here. And there are some tables to sit outside and eat at.“

“I went the on 2sept 2025 while on vacation there at about 5:30 pm. The employee behind the counter was very respectful and Pleasant. He treated me with the upmost respect and made me feel like I was an important part of his day. This experience is not common in a lot of places. I would definitely be visiting that cold stone creamery again on my next visit to Middleton.“

“Zuzus has incredible food as far as I can tell. The food here is surprisingly delicious, and has like complex flavors and creative recipes with fresh ingredients. It's not expensive, the portion sizes aren't insane, and it's usually light, tastes good, fresh, and right next to the zoo. I would say this is one of my most favorite restaurants that I've visited so far in Madison, as someone who doesn't go to sit-down restaurants a lot. The cooks here are really good, and I think that has to do with the size of the menu. The quality you get here is like, more value for your buck than most of the casual food places I've been in this city. I recommend this place. The atmosphere outside is okay, considering its right next to an intersection, it can be variable. It looks alright inside. The service is alright.“

“For fast food the burgers were very good the fries were also very good. The quality of the food was outstanding for fast food. The price was also very good. This isn't anything gourmet but definitely worth the price. Hands down better than other fast food competitors. I really liked that there was malt vinegar available as a condiment for the fries. The menu is relatively simply which shows they are focused on doing what they do well. For what is an typical fast food hamburger joint everything ran smooth and was pleasant. If you are looking for a really good fast burger and fresh cut fries that were frozen and don't want to pay 30 plus dollars at five guys this is the place to go. I would say the food stacks up better than five guys at about half the price.“

“This is one of the best Culver’s in Wisconsin! Excellent food every time, hot and fresh and delivered quickly and with a smile. Drive through moved quickly and I enjoy the outdoor patio seating. Employees are helpful when ordering and the two times in 5 years I’ve had a mistake in my order, it was corrected quickly and apologetically. So fast I was apologizing for receiving the wrong item haha!

Never thought I’d write a review for a Culver’s but I do truly believe if you’re choosing where to stop—this is one of the best! The team here is on their game and looks like they have fun working together.“

“NOT recommending Madison Mineral Point Road location. Husband ordered a mushroom Swiss burger. Got home, and it was a melt sandwich, overcooked and greasy. Not an option to return to get the burger he ordered. He waited forever the first time. Not calling either. It isn't worth the time and effort. Even if he had ordered this melt sandwich, I would still say it was greasy and overcooked. Sorry to all the good locations. Have never had a complaint about Culver's previously.“

I was putting stuff away in my backpack & Lynette was incredibly nice & told me I could’ve did that on the counter instead of the floor. I was about to leave without a frozen custard, but she reminded me & offered to make me one fresh rather than me getting it out the freezer since she said they’ve been there from the time she made them at 9am. The custard tasted great along with the rest of my food“

The service is always fast and friendly, and the food comes out quickly whether you order at the counter or use one of the kiosks. They offer a wide range of rotating custard flavors, so there’s usually something new to try, and the food is solid too—great for a quick bite or casual stop-in. It’s a little on the pricey side, but the recent renovation makes the space feel much nicer and more comfortable. Definitely a reliable go-to for frozen custard lovers.“
