You just have to stop at kopp's and have the best double cheeseburger and fried onions you've ever had in your entire life. You asked me how do I know? Because I've been coming here since the '70s and you know it's good when the grease is running down your face along with the onions and cheese. Note: The burger is the size of your face. Just saying. “While visiting Milwaukee from Michigan, we have been trying to find a good local ice cream shop. We stumbled upon The Purple Door this evening, and the only thing I'm sad about is that tomorrow is our last day. The ice cream was phenomenal and we received great service. We'll definitely go back for one last visit during our trip, but I'm finding myself wondering if we'd be able to keep some pints frozen during our 6.5 hour drive home. So if you're in the area, you won't regret treating yourself here!“

“Went back here again because it is the best custard I have ever tasted. And it has been that way for the last 50 years that I can remember. It still is a little pricey, but it is worth it. Parking lot is still a mess. Every time I go there are some close calls with cars and people walking around.“

“Lee’s Dairy treat has been fun to visit for over 10+ years with my family. You’ll maybe see some cool cars in the lot. Outdoor seating as well as limited indoor seating. A decent burger and chocolate malt. Plenty of ice cream flavors and toppings.“

“We go here more than like to admit. Great Culver's staff is always so nice fast and accurate, in the years we've gone and the amount of times I think only had a minor mistake 3x and they were polite and fixed it. We take the bus and they make sure we're able to make it on time, which means they acre about their customers and recognize their regulars.“
