“Absolutely amazing, all around! Food, service, everything. Shrimp sweet and delicious. Scallops silky soft and smooth, seared great and so tasty! Bacon wrapped asparagus is killer good. Prime rib sandwich is pillow soft, so flavorful and satisfying. Great garlic and herb butter seasoning on everything. I had a nasty respiratory infection a couple months prior, hadn't been able to taste much of anything for over two months... until coming here. I could taste the amazing flavor cooked into all of our items for the first time since getting sick. This was probably about the most satisfying dining experience I've ever had. Love it and can't wait to go back!!!“

“Overall experience was great. Started off with the fried calamari as an appetizer which was to die for and good portion. I had the filet mignon and my husband had the ribeye. Both steaks were cooked perfectly and tasted juicy and tender. We shared the asparagus and crab Mac and cheese for our sides. (Sides are portioned to be shareable). The sides were great as well. My only suggestion is providing clean plates for your sides since they are shareable. The steak comes on a plate covered in au jus which is delicious, but I didn't want to plate my mac n cheese on that plate and the bread plates were a little small. Not a big deal though! Service was great, ambiance was cozy. Highly recommend!“

“The pork chop was excellent! I liked that it was served with Gnocchi and not rice or a normally cooked potato. I sampled a bourbon drink and it was so good. Too much sugar if you have diabetes like my partner. Haha“

Everyone at our table loved the Caesar fries, genius idea.
The oysters were delicious and fresh and loved the fried capers on the deviled eggs.
The only disappointment was the lobster roll. That was the saddest lobster I have ever seen, dried out like it had been microwaved.
Our waitstaff forgot about us the end of meal check but otherwise was friendly and tried with the drink recommendations.
Despite the lobster, we'll be back again for more oysters and nuggets :) Thank you!“

Casual atmosphere where you feel like family- but can leave your slippas on! And great island treats & gifts. March of 2025 they have a $10 the King Kamehameha Platter and it's a great way to sample all their dishes. my Favorites are the poké & CharSiu pork🌺“

“Where to go on Friday evening during Lent for dinner?
The Capital Grille of course!

My wife and I were searching for a seafood option and this is a great place for it.

After being warmly greeted by the hosts , we were seated to begin what turned out to be a carefully curated seafood dinner evening.

The Capital Grille , yes the steakhouse, has scrumptious fish entrees not only during Lent but all year-round on the menu.

The first course of lobster bisque was rich and creamy with large chunks of lobster in it and was fantastic!

My wife had the Seared Citrus Glazed Salmon , which she really enjoyed and I had the best Pan-Seared Sea Bass with Miso Butter that I have ever tasted. It was fork tender and literally melted in your mouth.

On one other occasion we had the Seared Sea Scallops with Maine Lobster and Asparagus Risotto which was absolutely delectable!

They have many other seafood selections on their menu.
Do yourself a favor and try this fine dining establishment on a Friday evening, or for that matter, any other evening.

Oh… and don’t forget about dessert. The warm apple tart is exceptional, just like something straight out of your grandmother‘s kitchen!

“We stopped here on a work trip and loved it! The largest portions of seafood I’ve ever seen and delicious. This place is great for groups since the portions of the platters are very large. I’d recommend the large combo plate - it is definitely more than enough to share“

“This was everything I wanted it to be! They started us with a wine sipper which is so nice and also an amazing way to try new stuff. We got the espresso tini tinis which were SO delish and properly strong. We got one of each featured oyster- all fantastic and the aguachili was a great addition. The smoked trout plate was deliiiiiish and so satisfying. We also got the lobster sliders, smaller than expected but yummy. The Cesar fries are a worthwhile upgrade for sure. I got an extra dry dirty martini and it was perfect. Our waiter Emma was so helpful and kind and fun. We spent the whole dinner talking about how we can’t wait to come back!!!!“

“Birthday dinner for my 8YO daughter. Shout out to the entire staff at Wonita Sushi Seafood and Bar. They were super patient with the kids, waiter was awesome and even brought an extra dessert after simply noticing my daughter looking with envy at her brothers choice. Then waiting for the bill, the host (manager/owner?) noticed the kids eyeballing the lobster tank and he pulled up a stool for them to get a better look. He explained to the kids the growth rate of lobsters and we explained it was my daughters birthday dinner. Walking to the car, he chased us into the parking lot and gave her a special birthday stuffed animal. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever been this impressed with service. Especially as it was just another day to them, we didn’t mention the bday until leaving. We had planned a different place that is closed on Mondays. Glad we tried Wonita. They left a very favorable impression on both kids and they both said they want all future birthdays at Wonita!!“

“We went for China Lights 2025 and it was wonderful! We bought the family four-pack for around $80 and drove 1:20 from near Chicago and it was totally worth it.
Very interactive. Lots of interesting prehistoric lights, enchanted forest, the zodiac, fish, dragons and crocodiles and a whole interactive area with swings, seesaws, dance floors, music interactions, a life tree, Halloween lights, pumpkins, games, bubbles and more.“

“I went in kinda skeptical from all the mixed reviews, especially for the pizza but all my food was great. I ordered on Super Bowl sunday and my food was done really fast. The crust on my hand-tossed greek pizza was very good, even though it was a little strange to put jalapeños on a greek pizza, instead of banana peppers or pepperoncini. The wings were almost too tender but the buffalo sauce was better than expected. Maybe I’m an outlier on experiences but I was impressed.“

“The restaurant is small, so be sure to make reservations ahead of time in order to ensure a seat upon arrival. The chicken empanadas were great and so were the yucca fries. The entries had lots of flavor and the chicken was really tender. If the restaurant is full, be aware it might take longer to get your food.“

“We didn’t try any of the seafood but gave the Vietnamese food a try… First off, super clean! Right off the bat, without trying the food, I knew that I’d come back based off this alone. When a place is clean, it makes worth it Second, our server, Liyah, sooo wonderful! Super attentive and very nice! Third, the food was good! Not the best pho/Vietnamese food I’ve had. but considering it’s not their main feature, it wasnt bad! The eggrolls were meh, definitely frozen. We will definitely be back again!“

“Finally tried the chicken and shrimp alfredo from many recommendations and it was 🔥 🔥 🔥 chicken was juicy and very saucy. Not many shrimp but enough. I will add broccoli next time and mushrooms if they have them. If you scared of a lil salt don’t order it. It wasn’t overly salty but for somebody who watches their salt intake might find an issue. My mild buffalo wings with the fries was on point per usual. I got a peach lemonade and it was good too. Again very sweet for somebody who can’t handle that don’t get it! I just added a little water to it when I got home. The ice machine wasn’t working so I added ice too. The restaurant was clean. I know they can be hit or miss but they was on point this day! Actually I never had a miss. If it’s a busy time of day like a lunch rush, the last hr before close or a weekend, just plan and call ahead if you can. I called ahead and got great food. My auntie said her plain whole wings didnt have any flavor but people usually go for the variety of flavors they offer so go up the street to jjs for plain wings. & you can sprinkles some seasoning on your own food right at the side counter. And when I came in there was someone at each register waiting to help customers. I know everybody won’t have a good experience but damn yall it’s not Coopers Hawk 🥩 but its good ghetto food lol.“

“I had sworn off of JJ's Chicken after my last experience but this new location for me is fantastic! The chicken is not oily. The meal was ready when we arrived. The fries were crispy just like I like them! You have a new customer with us.

“The service was warming. The young lady made sure we had everything we needed. She recognized it was my first time visiting their establishment. You could tell she had a relationship with their customers. Which says a lot. The fish was fresh and fried with a great golden coating. The pieces were a nice size not tiny and shriveled up. ???? We will be returning. We thank you for great service.Note: Don't allow the exterior to detour you from trying them out. It may not be fancy however everything was fresh and it didn't look dirty.
