“Honestly did not expect to find delicious, authentic Mexican food up this far north but here we are. The chorizo was bomb and cooked perfectly while the waffle was the best we have ever had.The service was fantastic. He was attentive and nice and was quick to recommend dishes and toppings when asked.All around, this was the best dining experience my wife and I have had in a while.“

“Our first time visiting and on a cool, overcast, and off season day, but we were still able to sit on the heated outdoor patio and take in the lake view. The staff was extremely pleasant, the food was pretty good, and the drinks were belly warming! Id love to come back and experience this place in the height of summer season, I'm betting it's a real hoot!Parking: Parking is a bit strange here honestly. We arrive off season and could park pretty much out front of the pier side entrance, but there are only like 2 spots out there generally and we just got lucky. When we asked the wait staff we were told that in season there is a shuttle service that transfers diners back and forth between a remote parking lot and the restaurant. They also offer valet. I'm sure it works for them, but how much traffic do I miss by not having readily available parking for the uninformed passer-by?Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance and some seating was easily accessible, but there were raised platform areas and unique urinal configurations in the men's bathroom that might made it challenging.“

“SO GRATEFUL we were too hungry and exhausted to cook for ourselves tonight. Both my husband and I have typically been largely disappointed every time we go out to eat in southern Wisconsin, but this was absolutely top notch eating. We ordered 2 appetizers and their Milwakee pizza and everything was amazing. They have the best pizza hands down anywhere near Walworth county. We can’t wait to go back and try more food on the menu! Matt, the chef, really cares about what he is feeding people and you can tell by the quality meals he plates. Thanks so much for a great night out eating delicious food!“

“We hosted our Wedding Welcome Cocktail Hour at the Geneva Taphouse and are so happy that we did! This place is a great place to host at because it's a beautiful building with great lighting and fun atmosphere. The small bites were delicious and our guests loved the large selection beers and seltzers on tap. There happened to be live music that night, which was a great touch. The managers Taylor and Jesse were so friendly and easy to work with to make this night happen. They checked in with us throughout the night to make sure we were happy and taken care of. We would 100% recommend them for your party space needs!“

“Waiting on my wife who is across the street at a bridal shower so I needed a place to hang out, the idea of being surrounded by a bunch of screaming woman is pure torture to me, ok so here's the review I parked at legends and walked in the place is clean and well lit, I ordered the old fashion burger and it was cooked perfectly the onion and the tomato were fresh and both crisp and it's the best burger I've had in awhile, I upgraded to the sweet potato's fry's and I'm glad I did they were very flavorful and honestly I'm not sure if that's a word but you get the picture, if I'm ever in the area I'll gladly go back the staff is friendly and polite and the entire visit was a pleasant experience“

“My wife, myself and two good friends were in town for the weekend. Ordered some bloody marys before ordering lunch. They were so good that we had to order another round. Ordered brisket sandwiches, wings and cheese curds. They were great. The brisket was smoked perfectly with a great taste. Service was super friendly for a packed bar on a Saturday afternoon. So glad to have finally got out to the Owl. We will definitely be back on our next trip.“

“My husband and I had dinner here and it was FANTASTIC. I don’t know where to start on describing how great our meal was. Everything was delicious, the drinks were amazing. The service was wonderful! Everything was perfect. This restaurant was also super busy and packed (a sign of a good restaurant) and we still were able to be served at a good pace!“

It’s nice to be able to enjoy adult time because kiddos are distracted by the fun and entertaining decor and environment. “If you get to know all the wonderful ladies behind the bar... They always make you feel welcome!My wife had some issues that the owner needed to be involved. Very professional, responded immediately, and most of all knowing we were regulars,( I think) gave us respect when he could've done what all the other businesses do. ( Nothing! )“

You can definitely hear about the town drama from the majority of the locals. The owners have put a lot of hard work into this place.
