Sienna assisted us in planning the menu, Lauren was our personal bartender and Christina, the Manager, coordinated everything the night of the event.
The food, service and atmosphere was absolutely wonderful.
We couldn't be happier that our son and his wife chose Madison's as the venue for this special event in all of our lives.
We also opted for the ice cream for the guests at the end of our night and it was a hit with everyone.

“Chocolate Shoppe catered our wedding dessert and they were completely perfect! They bring a truck with about ten flavors including 1-2 DF flavors, and scoop into dishes or cones. The guests loved it on a hot, summer day, and it felt a lot more memorable than cake. They were super easy to work with in booking the event and the employee who worked our event was so kind. It was a huge hit and the ice cream was, of course, delicious! We would definitely book them again for a large event and would recommend them to friends.“

“I met a friend here for the first time. The staff was friendly and welcoming.
Once we ordered, we sat outside on the adorable patio.

For breakfast I ordered a peach danish (delicious!), orange juice (freshly squeezed), and the croissant breakfast sandwich with bacon. The sandwich was delicious. It was cheesey, and the croissant was flakey and absolutely perfect.

The outdoor patio is so cute. I’m mad at myself for not staying longer to read a book.
I also got a chocolate chip cookie to go, which was also wonderful.

“I've been a long time customer here (15+ years). Besides the beauty of mixing Gelato with espresso (order the Javalatto people), my favorite thing is the environment. I love seeing the long term staff, and the owner, who I've seen throughout my time as a customer. Most of all, I love that they ALWAYS make me happier, especially on days I'm having those rough mornings. I really try to go in on those days I know are gonna be long. The spicy beef broth could've been spicier but was still good. The hot tea (peach oolong) was delightful. We finished with a unique and refreshing coconut dessert (pictured)!“

“I am a Jamaican Road Warrior with honey and cinnamon only kind of girl. My drinks have been spot on delish every single time. I am sometimes a little annoyed when I order ahead and still wait - sometimes 7-10 mins after the already 15 min wait of pickup. I am hoping it is just a hiccup they are working on with their app. Service 98% of the time leaves me with the biggest smile - friendly upbeat baristas. Now what can we do about that intersection - not that its any of Mokas fault. :) I will continue to order my weekly treat for as long as they are there!“

“Nice outdoor location that is family friendly, and, as others mentioned, a good alternative to the Memorial Union Terrace.

My understanding is that they do require ID from everyone in your party unless accompanied by an adult. This is a fairly common blanket policy to avoid employees making invalid judgment calls. Just something to be aware of beforehand.“

After contemplating for much too long and after much needed guidance and recommendations from the staff, we landed on the frozen spiced chai and the cookie butter coffee boba. It was a classic case of “my husband’s drink is better so it’s mine now” because the cookie butter coffee was AMAZING- and thats coming from a person who isn’t crazy about cookie butter. The frozen spiced chai was artificial tasting and much too sweet- a personal pass we couldn’t finish. Overall, they have amazing options and great staff!“

“They have very good food but the staff makes peanuts and is hungry for tips. I usually try to tip 20-25%. However one time when I got the bill it was way more than I had expected and I didn't have the funds to leave a tip. I felt really bad. To top it off I was told if I couldn’t tip better. don't come back. I instead of 2 drinks costing $13.00.(like the other businesses on the block)The bill was $21. I would have been leaving at least $5, but now I couldn’t. I feel the staff is a bunch of snooty college students, living off their rich parents dime.“

“I've always been a big fan of Monty's, so I was excited to try a new menu item steak and eggs. The steak came covered in a sauce that wasn't indicated on the menu. The steak was extremely overdone and the crispy potatoes were anything but. I ordered online so there was no place to indicate how I wanted the steak cooked. This won't stop me from ordering again as most of their food has always been very good. Just thought you should know.“

Food was great as usual, wait staff on the other hand, not so much. Was looking forward to the liver dumpling soup just to find out they didn't or no longer have it.“
