“We had a fantastic dinner tonight at the Ish Kitchen! My husband had the noodle bowl with shrimp; I had the chicken quesadilla. We topped off the evening with the chocolate cake (him) and the Gâteau Breton (me). The food was delicious, and our server was top notch. We’ll definitely be back!”

The only negative was the staff were really (REALLY) miserable - like, both looked like they would rather have been anywhere else - and really disinterested in engaging with the customers, which is disappointing for what should have been such a cool spot. “Stopped for breakfast. No wait, we were immediately seated. Our server was great, friendly and efficient. I ordered the classic breakfast, eggs over easy, home fries, sausage and a biscuit. Food was very good. I like that they give you a smaller portion of potatoes because often I cannot eat all of them at other restaurants. My only criticism was my eggs were just a tad overcooked but otherwise an excellent breakfast. Coffee refills were frequent and a nice location, right on the main street through town.”

“Laid back, friendly, and very affordable restaurant. 4th visit there and the food is always exceptional, and the service is great. I was never a fan of pepperoni rolls until I had theirs ... they made a believer out of me! The pulled pork sandwich was excellent, and the chicken pot pie (from a previous visit) was" just like Mom used to make!" Like many places in Davis, parking is a challenge. Do not be deterred by a full lot; they still probably have tables available, as they can seat a good many. You can park on the side street behind the restaurant.”

“We stopped at Little Caesars on the way back to our campsite after hiking Blackwater falls, and it really hit the spot! Service was quick and friendly, and everything was hot and fresh. We tried the pepperoni cheese breadsticks, buffalo wings, and crazy bread — all delicious. The crust was perfectly crisp, and they gave us plenty of sauces to go with it. Great value, tasty food, and exactly what we needed after a long day outdoors. Definitely recommend!”

“My wife and I were in the area for the fireworks show over the weekend and were just walking around the town to kill some time and found ourselves stopping in to the tap house. The bartender greeted us like we have known each other for a long time and make quality beer recommends. Great atmosphere and a cool spot to hangout when you are in the area! Highly recommend!”

“Love the vibe, the staff is incredible, so sweet and relatable!! Coffee is sooooo good as well as all of the sweet treats, you will never be disappointed!!! Highly recommend!”

“What a fun and interesting place. Stopped to sample their beer. You need to drive to the back of the property to find the tasting room. Not crowded and we sat at the bar. They not only have have beer, but also cocktails and wine, if so inclined. Not many brew choices, five on tap, but what I tried were good. The beers are served in Mason jars, which is a first for me. The bartender was friendly and funny. I drank the Almost Heaven and Coal Miners Daughter. I thought both were very good. We did not eat food there but ordered a pizza to go. We had the house specialty, Fire on the Mountain. This is pepperoni, sausage, banana pepper, smoked gouda and chitpotle pepper. A little heat, but very good. A positive experience and I would certainly try them again.”
