“We had a fantastic dinner tonight at the Ish Kitchen! My husband had the noodle bowl with shrimp; I had the chicken quesadilla. We topped off the evening with the chocolate cake (him) and the Gâteau Breton (me). The food was delicious, and our server was top notch. We’ll definitely be back!”

The only negative was the staff were really (REALLY) miserable - like, both looked like they would rather have been anywhere else - and really disinterested in engaging with the customers, which is disappointing for what should have been such a cool spot. “Laid back, friendly, and very affordable restaurant. 4th visit there and the food is always exceptional, and the service is great. I was never a fan of pepperoni rolls until I had theirs ... they made a believer out of me! The pulled pork sandwich was excellent, and the chicken pot pie (from a previous visit) was" just like Mom used to make!" Like many places in Davis, parking is a challenge. Do not be deterred by a full lot; they still probably have tables available, as they can seat a good many. You can park on the side street behind the restaurant.”

“I've been to many restaurants run by state parks and this one was definitely one of the best. The menu is smaller, but everything we had was done well. The brisket was excellent and the beef stew was extremely flavorful. Mashed potatoes and gravy were delicious, as were the baked beans. Phebie, our server, is an asset to this establishment and was friendly, efficient and helpful. I would definitely go back if I'm in the Blackwater Falls area again.”

“Little Caesars pizza isnt the best ever in general, but its a great price for a lot of food, and they always have something ready to go. The service is great, and i like the quaint atmosphere in Thomas. If you're looking for a hot pizza for a great price, stop in here!”

“We did a big take out order on Valentine’s Day! Had to special request no cheese due to an allergy. Everything was perfect! Food was amazing! Fresh ingredients and season perfect! I suggest trying the salmon! 5 Stars!!! What a gem in such a small town!”

“I’m shocked to see all the negative reviews. I dined with another person and we had a good experience. I wouldn’t recommend the fish and chips though. The fish had a little too much salt water ambience although it was fried and cooked perfectly. The fries were excellent and the hush puppies were excellent. Ordered a pizza and cheese curds as well, both were excellent. We had good service with a waitress/bartender that didn’t leave us without anything. Would eat or drink here again. Wish they had wheat beers. Thanks ladies!”

“Mountain State Brewery Pizza is in my opinion, one of the best pizza places you can find in WV. The Cuban, Meatlovers, and Fire on the Mountain are my personal favorites! I have a lot of happy memories with my family here stopping by on the way to go camping or heading back home. Always a phenomenal and pleasurable experience; I highly recommend giving it a shot! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
