“Small place, but very nice and they’ve made awesome use of additional outdoor seating. The menu is small, but extremely well thought out and delicious! We had the smash burger and the French dip. Regular fries and the truffle fries, cheese sticks, and a delicious salad. It was 10/10!“

“This by far is my favorite place to eat and drink. If your looking for an ice cold beer, glass of wine or a cocktail handed to you by the best bartenders - this is your place! Best sandwiches and soup. Incredible bar to hang out and chill.“

“In the heart of 5 Points Birmingham is a hidden jewel. It's one of those rare venues where you immediately meet new friends and easily become the extended family of the staff and patrons. Every time we open the door we feel like we are home! Definitely check out the music, they have the best in wonderfully talented and often local bands and performers! They are handicapped accessible and have a lift in front. The owners are fantastic and very accommodating, we've attended friends' birthdays there with DJs and catered food. if you are looking for a spot to feel like home, please treat yourselves to Dobber's!“

“First of all….it’s in the CUT! And they are ONLY OPEN ON SUNDAY NIGHTS. The glow from warm neon sign welcomes you on arrival near the front door. Parking was easy. On the street or the big lot.
As a first timer you just have to go in and find a spot. $5 cover charge so bring some cash. They also have security. There are lots of tables and chairs and of course a few seats at the bar. If a table or chair is open feel free to snag it. The service at the bar was quick. They accept cards. Bartenders were very nice.
If you want food head for the back corner and go to the window. Two guys will hook you up. A menu of chicken wings, fried fish, and pork chops and fried will satisfy you. The food came out HOT and it’s packaged to go.
Will for sure be back on a future Sunday.“

“Stopped by The Electric in Avondale and was honestly impressed. Grabbed a pub sub and the white chicken chili and both were fantastic. The sub was fresh, filling, and packed with flavor, and the white chicken chili was rich, comforting, and perfect on a cooler day. Great spot with a solid menu and a relaxed Birmingham vibe. I’ll definitely be back to try more.“

“Went to 2 different locations before visiting Prive/Palace. You get entry to the restaurant for free and the club in back for $10. Security will check you before entering and parking spaces were nice.
The bartender was very nice and the people eating were also very nice. We ate wings, fries, catfish nuggets and had some drinks in between visits to the back club“

“I walked from the hotel and dare I say that the walk was a little sketchy. If I had to guess, I’d say that I wasn’t in the most favorable area of Birmingham, but nevertheless I blended in because I was in a familiar environment. Initially, I thought that the food truck outside was the bar, but I was able to go inside the bar and watch the game until my food was ready. I ordered a double shot of Jameson and the price was a bit more than I was accustomed to paying, but needless to say I didn’t scoff at the price. I like how both of the business were working together and from what I was able to see from the short amount of time that I was there is that it’s a popular corner of Birmingham. I would recommend it.“

Nice Building, very clean, and had a Great band " The Real Horizon Band" with a wide variety of music, from country, to Heart, and some Great old Rock&Roll... “We visited this renovated food hall on our way out of Birmingham. The space itself is really cool and features some great food options. I had the poke and a bubble tea, which were both delicious. There is seating inside the hall and in the attractive patio space outside. Fun spot for a quick lunch!“

“I was staying in Birmingham for an occasion. I ordered a burger and fries to go from The Lab Bar and Grill. Malik Moore was my waiter and he was awesome. I had asked for a few extra items on the burger and Malik came back to double check and make sure that I didn’t want anything else on it. He was polite and professional. The burger and fries were very good!“

“Omg best bar I’ve ever been to. Cam Cajun papi makes the best food and drinks are fire. They have mom waters and the volleyball court is awesome. When I play I get sand all over just like I do when I bump uglys with my boo Zachary at the beach! Did I mention they have 3 pool tables also!??!?!?? So if to cold for volleyball I can watch my Zachary pound balls in holes like he does mine at home… well not just at home. Did I say it’s the best bar ever yet?!?!?“

“Nothing overly special but we sat outside and watched three people run the red light, caught the stank eye from an either drunk or homeless lady, and saw the Dollar Tree Grim Reaper roll through. So great people watching to be had on a nice night.“
