I was disappointed; then, someone (perhaps, he was one of the owners) gave me, I guess, a partial serving ( I think it was what was left) of the sweet potatoes. In my opinion, that was very nice; then, he said that I could still order another item from the vegetable list.“

“This place is a hidden gem in Pleasant Grove. 15-20 minutes from Birmingham and with the drive. The owner is so friendly and welcoming. The food is very fresh and delicious, you can tell there's a lot of love put into it. There are American choices for the less adventurous eaters and children's menu, also vegetarian options! My personal favorites are the falafel plate, Greek salad, tahini sauce, hummus and baklava. All homemade! Go try it, you won't be disappointed!“

“Last weekend (2 weeks ago) I finally got to try Biscuit Belly: Hoover. We had been out running earns and shopping and realized we had not eaten breakfast and it was close to lunch and we just so happen to be close by and this place has been on my list anyways. This place is definitely what it says it is. Biscuits everywhere man. If you're a biscuit lover then this is definitely for you! I ordered a Not Chicken and Waffle (I think that's what it was called) and basically it was a split biscuit cooked like French toast and those that know me know French toast is my favorite. I have a tier list it's French toast, waffles, then pancakes for me. Also those that know me know I don't care much for biscuits but these were good especially with the syrup on top. Now the chicken itself was nicely seasoned and I could tell they cooked it fresh. I could also tell they don't marinate their chicken which is fine but it's easily noticeable when chicken isn't marinated because you can taste it's pure white chicken breast. As I said before it was good and crunchy and still seasoned well. I liked it. I give the meal an 8/10. The service was good as well it was very crowded but the way the service was you couldn't tell. Everyone was so nice and very patient. The food came out fairly quickly as well. I was impressed and happy. 10/10 on services. Would I come back here? Absolutely I have a few more things I'd like to try! If you are ever in the Hoover area or live in the Hoover area check this place out!“

“Red Sea is the Ultimate Dining Experience, I have been a Loyal Customer for years. In my humble Opinion, with the Ultimate Gumbo Alone, there is no comparison nowhere in the B’ham/Metro area!!! Sunday I took my Mother and Sisters here for Dinner after Church, and they were very Impressed. The Food was Delicious “As always”and the Service was Impeccable. Whenever I’m asked of friends and Family Or Co- workers of a Good Place to enjoy a meal RED SEA is the Place I will always Highly Recommend. Chef “B” and Staff are Awesome!!!“

“I’ve been eating here for over 30yrs they were at a different location (take out only) up the street. The food has always been great. I have never had a bad meal from them. They are a Birmingham staple. Those who know, know. I drive from McCalla for my take away now. We drove from Hueytown when I was a kid, bypassing many similar cuisine restaurants. I know Chop Suey will be delicious and correct every time.“

“Menu variety, staff service. We stopped by on our way to Tuscaloosa and we’re delighted by the helpfulness of the owner, the food quality, and the wide array of choices. The interior is pleasant and warm, and if we hadn’t been on the road I could see having a lovely book club meeting or a quick lunch for 2 here. Great ambiance, great service. Also such a unique and local food option vs rushing through a fast food drive-thru. We have family in the area and will absolutely be returning!“

“The service here is amazing! I recently ordered the chicken hibachi with extra veggies and yum yum sauce to go. I didn’t check the food before I left and when I got home they gave me extra noodles instead of veggies. I messaged them on Facebook to let them know of the mistake and they offered to remake my order for free at my convenience! I went and picked up the remade order a week later and they even gave me the extra yum yum sauce and apologized again when I picked up the food. Between there and the Alabaster location, my Mexican food cravings are more than covered and they are always patient with my substitutions and the like. “Great breakfast buffet that was very expensive but convenient if you are staying in the hotel. Everything was fresh and they had someone at a station making omelets and would bring it to your table if you didn’t want to wait for them to prepare it. Overall the breakfast buffet was good.
