“Ok so my husband and I came here for brunch and without reservations. The amazing host let us know that we can sit at the bar and WOW. What’s going on?! Just the 2 most amazing bartenders Jacey and Devon with awesome service. Our drinks stayed full with the help of Rodger. And Aris the manager was so awesome. The menu is RAD and the portions are big. Definitely will be back.“

“I’ve been eating here for over 30yrs they were at a different location (take out only) up the street. The food has always been great. I have never had a bad meal from them. They are a Birmingham staple. Those who know, know. I drive from McCalla for my take away now. We drove from Hueytown when I was a kid, bypassing many similar cuisine restaurants. I know Chop Suey will be delicious and correct every time.“

“Fantastic food! I had the basil pork and it was wonderful. The old fashioned with the smoked orange was also the bomb. The owner ( I think it was the owner--it was very loud and I couldn't hear him, but he appeared at our table of six at least twice) was super attentive and has a kind demeanor. I will be back.“

“Tired of the fast food catagory... this is your way out. The food was delicious. There was a selection of meats, vegetables, and deserts. Pricing was also reasonable for the servings. There is nothing like having a good glass of sweet tea to top it off.“

“Our waitress was great. We have the fried pimento balls. Which were great! They came with two dipping sauces. One was a hot sauce(not a fan), and the Other was a ranch that was tasty.
I had a Salmon wrap I didn't like the texture of the things going on in it. So I switched it for the Honey mustard wrap which was way better. Everything else was great. Favorite drink was the Honeysuckle.“

Between there and the Alabaster location, my Mexican food cravings are more than covered and they are always patient with my substitutions and the like. Service is top-notch and the food is excellent. Highly recommended!“

“Dave's Pizza is a beloved Homewood staple. It's a casual local pizza joint that offers an outdoor/open-air dining space. The pizza is delicious, and the atmosphere is laid-back.
Most recently, my husband and I planned our Rehearsal Dinner at Dave's Pizza, and it was such a special experience! We have a large family and knew we wanted to arrange a more causal Rehearsal Dinner that could accommodate a bigger group of people. Brett, the manager, helped us plan the event and was incredibly accommodating throughout the process. On the night of the event, everything flowed smoothly, and everyone was very impressed with the caliber of service and food options. I’m so grateful we were able to incorporate such a special place into our wedding weekend. We have so much love for Dave's Pizza – check it out if you haven’t already!“

“Best Chinese buffet. The food was hot and fresh! Service was amazing. Pretty good price for the selection. And they have soft serve ice cream! I express how much I love Mr.Wang! The buffet ends at 2 pm, after then you have to order from the menu.“

“Can’t really beat them on value, food options change often too so you won’t get tired of visiting. Service here (online/drive thru/dine in) is pretty good, but it gets bogged down during rush hours, make sure to avoid it. Dining area is pretty tidy and nicely decorated.“
