“I really enjoyed the food here. It’s hard to judge the service. You order as you walk in, and it is delivered to your table. Makes it hard to really judge because 3 different people provided services. Feels like a fast food restaurant in ways, but quality of food is definitely not fast food quality . I will say although food was great, steak was a little small, and they were out of many menu items that we had wanted, so this is obviously a very generous review on what was available.“

“We stopped by for a quick bite on our way back to Georgia, and the service was so sweet. The young lady and the older lady working the drive-thru were both incredibly kind. Our receipt says Dontrey, so I wanted to make sure they got recognized.

Our food was fresh, hot, and perfectly crunchy, honestly very TikTok-worthy if I were an influencer, haha. The young lady added our condiments and then told us she had also put in a couple of sweet and sour sauces for our shrimp. We were a little confused at first, but she said, “Just try it,” in the sweetest tone, so of course we did.

She was absolutely right because that sweet and sour sauce is where it’s at. I had no idea! We do not live in the area, but if we did, this would definitely be our spot.“

“A friend brought me to dinner here tonight. I relocated to Birmingham a few years ago and had been meaning to dine with you so when my friend asked where I said ‘The Fish Market.’ Well, not only was the food fantastic but your staff was incredible. Our server was a lady named Precious. I have never felt such hospitality from a server. It is hard to describe but she made me feel as though she was eager to help yet didn’t want us feel rushed. It was a genuinely wonderful dining experience and I’m not one to yammer on with recommendations. 😂 Additionally, the bartender (my apologies but I didn’t get her name) delivered my drink to ensure it did not get watered down. That level of service is practically unmatched. Please know you have two wonderful team members in Precious and the bartender. Well done!“

“Went to Amore tonight for our anniversary dinner. Our waiter, Robert, was outstanding explaining the specials of the day and suggesting a great wine which really complimented our dinner of shrimp and lobster linguine which was cooked to perfection. Our dessert of crème brûlée was spectacular! The best meal we have had in a while and I highly recommend Amore for a truly enjoyable experience.“

“I like how each table makes a person feel they have the restaurant to themselves. It is quiet and I didn't hear anything from the kitchen, bar and barely anything from other diners. I did like that my water glass was always full. That is a rare thing these days but it is the little things that make a difference. Our waitress was not overbearing but made sure we had everything at each point in the meal. It was unusual in a restaurant to not see cell phones being constantly used everywhere. I think the food and company takes over technology and I was not forced to listen to whatever music someone else might like- just quite, elegant ambience“

“We stopped by this little gem on the way back from a long trip. The BEST gator bites and boudin balls I have ever had! The crawfish etoufee was exceptional too! If I lived in the area they would be hard pressed if they ever tried to get rid of me because just the gator bites would've kept me coming back on the daily!!! Absolutely delicious!“

“I was scared to stop by this restaurant because of the reviews I have read on here but I walked in spoke to the Asian lady and she spoke back .I came back the next week and the same lady took my order .I speak put in my order and wait while it's cooked fresh .The two young African American ladies I encounter has been nice and polite . I'm not sure if they read your reviews and changed but I haven't had not one problem and the food has bern hot and Delicious. I Pray it stays this way“

“I stopped there because I was hungry after leaving the local grocery store. I am from NYC and I'm always looking for good Chinese food that reminds me of home. It's been hard for me to do so and I've been living here in Alabama for over 16 years. So far I've found less than a handful of really good takeout restaurants. Well this is one. I've only had their roast pork egg foo young but it was exactly the flavor profile I was looking for. Delicious! I'll be back!“
