“First, let me say the staff here is so friendly. This place is consistently great. I have eaten here many times since they opened in this location. I have never ordered anything I did not like. It's ALWAYS hot, fresh and the quality of the seafood is great. I recommend the lemonade. Not only is it freshly made with real lemons, it freakin slushy!!!! They have strawberry lemonade, grape, mango, pina colada and a few other flavors too. They give you a generous amount of food. I have never been able to eat all my food in one sitting. It makes for great leftovers too. Lastly, you will not be disappointed here. If you haven't tried it yet, do it.“

“We had a large group, and Chase was absolutely amazing! He made sure we all had our food and drinks and did everything with a smile. He made a wonderful experience 10 times better!!! I would recommend this place, and ask for Chase if you want great service with a smile! I told him he should be the employee of the year!“

“In town for a business conference and stopped by for some delicious Cajun food. The crawfish and crab legs were excellent, along with crab cakes and calamari. Dianne, our waitress, was wonderful and provided excellent service!“

“We went to Magnolia Point for the first time last night and are so glad we did. The food was delicious, service fast and attentive and the prices very reasonable. It’s a great place to take kids because it’s got lots of food they would like (fish tocos, hamburgers, etc) and not too fancy. There’s also a great outdoor patio that we cant wait to try. We’ll be back for sure!“

“This is one of the hidden gems in town! Always fantastic food and I eat here at least twice a week. The service is outstanding and always friendly. Sue the hostess that works the door is amazing. She remembered my name by the second visit and always greets me with a smile?. The entire staff is unbelievable and you feel like you are eating lunch with best friends. Highly recommend!!!“

“Best brunch I’ve had in years (& I brunch often). The restaurant is in a cool area, had a great atmosphere with a fun attentive staff, and most importantly delicious food. We had the bottomless tapas brunch with complementary mimosas. We enjoyed the variety of tapas options and nothing disappointed. My delightfully full stomach forced me to stop, but some standouts were the Lox, Fried Green Tomatoes, Steak & Gouda Biscuits, French Toast, Jalapeño Bacon, and exquisite Beignets. It’s a modest sized place, so make a reservation and thank me later!“

“Was in town (from Georgia) and this place was next door to our hotel. Figured we would roll the dice and give it a shot. Absolutely some of the best seafood I have ever eaten!!!!!! “We are staying across the street at Best Western. We are in town for Alabama Football.
We walked across the street to try it.
The shrimp was terrific, Calamari was terrific. Huge portions, I could not eat it all.
I’d recommend this place and will be back for next time I’m in town for Roll Tide Football.“

“Little hidden place but the food is phenomenal the okra crispy and hot fried green tomato out of this world Shrimp poboy is legit crispy shrimp soft bun the right amount of hot sauce in the cocktail and you gotta finish with a cat fish filet who would want to miss out on that.“

“Masa is our absolute FAVORITE place to eat! Our kids LOVE it and the owners treat us like family with warm smiles and big hugs when we come! The food is always excellent with a HUGE sushi menu, we still haven’t tried it all yet but we have loved everything we have tried! Our 6 year olds ask for it all the time! Masa is like our home away from home when we need an excellent meal and don’t feel like cooking!“

“I absolutely LOVED everything. Our server was so kind and answered all of our questions. This was my first visit and I had quite a few questions. She was patient and sweet. Our order came out quick and our shrimp and fish were seasoned and fried perfectly. I will always visit when I’m in Birmingham. Oh and I met the owners (husband and wife) and they made me feel very welcomed and comfortable and made sure we were happy and satisfied with everything!“

“I hadn't been in over 8 years. I used to work around the corner. I used to eat there every week. I came home to Alabama and wanted something good. I told my husband about the place. We pulled up, and I told him if it's young people in her there I'm not staying. I opened the door and was elated. The food was amazing just like I remembered.“

“I only give my bartender/server 5 stars.
I don’t understand why you can’t sub the sausage for something as simple as an egg or potato. I can’t consume pork. Either offer an alternative sausage meat or a substitute. Bar was also subpar and not many options to choose from.
The food is actually good though…“
