“I only give my bartender/server 5 stars.

I don’t understand why you can’t sub the sausage for something as simple as an egg or potato. I can’t consume pork. Either offer an alternative sausage meat or a substitute. Bar was also subpar and not many options to choose from.

“We went to Magnolia Point for the first time last night and are so glad we did. The food was delicious, service fast and attentive and the prices very reasonable. It’s a great place to take kids because it’s got lots of food they would like (fish tocos, hamburgers, etc) and not too fancy. There’s also a great outdoor patio that we cant wait to try. “Soooo one of my customer’s made me a plate from his restaurant today and I have to tell you….i have NEVER experienced Macaroni & Cheese like this. It was like a tangy-lemon-limey-feta-cheesy- dab of SHEER HEAVEN!!!! And the fresh Collard Greens? Oh. My. lord. THE BEST I have EVER had…EVER!!!! Better than my Grannie’s, god rest her soul. The Chicken was divine and I saw that they also barbeque Lamb Chops. I’ll try those next time. Everyone there are some of the kindest folks you will ever meet. Don’t feel like eating in? Go through the drive-thru and get a quart of that Mac-n-cheese and collards. I can’t even begin to describe how delicious they are. For real!!!! They Cater too!!! Divine!!!!“

“My first visit there, but I had read the reviews and was a little sceptical. Yes, the decor was low budget plastic and the disposable plates were still the usual for Covid, but the food was very good. No better fried shrimp and oysters. Everything was cooked to order and hot from the fryer. I think some previous reviewers were expecting Captain D's prices for very good seafood. I will definitely be going back when I want good seafood.“

“Stopped in for lunch with my toddler and sat outside. Staff was super friendly and welcoming, which was a nice start. Food-wise…it wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, but definitely not the worst either. I’d eat here again.

The kid’s corn dogs were a hit and my daughter devoured them. Fries were very salty (which I actually love), but a bit much for my toddler, so I kept those to myself. The egg rolls were just okay, like a 3/5. They needed a better dipping sauce…. not sure what exactly, but the ones that came with it were kinda blah.

Wings had good flavor, but they had that weird fridge taste… might’ve just been me. I took them home, tossed them in some hot BBQ sauce, hit them with the air fryer, and they turned out pretty tasty.

Sitting outside was fine, but a few patio fans would’ve helped with the heat. There were a lot of flies, but hey….. that’s just outdoor dining sometimes.

Oh and when it’s time to pay, you have to pay on their handheld device and it’s just annoying to me. It’s 2025, just give me a receipt with a QR Code to scan (with exception of paying cash).

We pulled up, and I told him if it's young people in her there I'm not staying. I opened the door and was elated. The food was amazing just like I remembered.“

I was surprised they didn't have grouper on the menu. I had the pick 3 fried combo with Cajun fries and i was totally satisfied with what I had. They have a garlic seasoning very good with a touch of Cajun on it called King seasoning. It is a must try on your boiling combos 💪💪.

“Masa is our absolute FAVORITE place to eat! Our kids LOVE it and the owners treat us like family with warm smiles and big hugs when we come! The food is always excellent with a HUGE sushi menu, we still haven’t tried it all yet but we have loved everything we have tried! Our 6 year olds ask for it all the time! “So I visited Carters Hooka bar & Grill for the first time. I had seen so many good reviews on another site so I decided to give it a try. To say I was underwhelmed wouldn't suffice. The atmosphere was nice, chill little vibe. Good music, good vibes, bad food & Drinks were disgusting. We ordered shrimp & grits, steak & shrimp, 2 blue MF (drinks) & Cajun ranch cheese fries. The grits were under cooked, no seasoning, and tasted like water. We added salt and that didn't help at all. The sausage was burnt and it was a little too done. The shrimp was seasoned but it didn't balance the grits. The steak and shrimp tasted like each other. They didn't have a distinct flavor, it's like they cooked it together. The steak was waaayyy overcooked and the heat wasn't hot enough because the steak didn't have a char on the outside. It was spicy along with the shrimp. It did come with 2 potatoes covered in cheese and a side salad that was mostly tomatoes & cucumbers minimal lettuce. The drinks were not good but not bad. Too much alcohol, the end that's all. I would come back but definitely not for the food.“

We walked across the street to try it.
The shrimp was terrific, Calamari was terrific. Huge portions, I could not eat it all.

I bought a family-pack of fish for guests that I did not know were coming over. I needed a quick solution. The guests loved the food so much, one of them called me weeks later wanting info on the restaurant because she started craving the food.

“I've never done this before, but I'm not even going to mention the food in this survey, nothing wrong with it, it just doesnt hold a candle to the service we received! We ate there tonight and had Maddy D as our server and she was unlike any server I've ever had. I mean she was holding multiple trays and plates effortlessly while navigating the handheld scanner, while cracking jokes and making the whole table feel invited and welcomed. I have truly never seen someone so great at what they're doing, working their butt off but not at all letting you know how hard they're working. I would say she's the type of server everyone should strive to be like, but I dont think that level is achievable. If you are a business owner and want the most capable employee, come to soho social and ask for Maddy d. FIND ANY position in your company for her and she will nail it, she's that kind of person.“

“Went to 2 different locations before visiting Prive/Palace. You get entry to the restaurant for free and the club in back for $10. Security will check you before entering and parking spaces were nice.

The bartender was very nice and the people eating were also very nice. We ate wings, fries, catfish nuggets and had some drinks in between visits to the back club“

“I wanted crab legs for my birthday, and the Crab Barrack did not disappoint! our table started with drinks and the fried calamari, which was delicious. Lightly fried, not greasy, and the meat was tender, not chewy. I ordered a 1/2 pound of crab legs, a lobster tail, and added a boiled egg; all in the garlic butter sauce. It was boiled to perfection! I was able to crack the legs with my hands and pull out solid pieces of meat. The meat was tender and not at all dry. It was the same for the lobster tail. The others at the table ordered fried okra, shrimp, and fish. Everything was delicious and we will definitely be back!!“
