“This place is amazing! My boyfriend and I went last night and we were extremely happy.
The clear soup is a great appetizer! It's very flavorful and the mushrooms and chives are a nice touch!
My boyfriend got the steak and shrimp combo dinner, asked for no carrots or zuchinis, and not a shred of either, even though the grilled vegetables came premixed. He also asked for the steak bites to be medium rare, and they came out perfect!
I got the Kobe Beef sushi roll, and it was delicious! The steak strips were a perfect rare, just a hint of red on each one and not tough at all!
And the server! Donavine was incredible- he was respectful, helpful, and friendly!
We will be back!!”

I’m in town for work and I got tired of all the hibachi places. I just wanted something from somewhere that didn’t pull everything from a box in the freezer.

It’s a nice place. Everyone was dressed a little bit nice.
You would probably stick out if you wore dirty work clothes. I was in clean jeans and a clean zip up hoodie and felt like I fit in. Seemed like this is where you go in town for a nice date night or birthday dinner.

Speaking of birthday, some lady in front of me was there for her birthday with her family. They brought out a birthday dessert for her with, what I can only explain as, a festive road flare stuck in the top of that thing. It was kind of awesome. Her husband was not very impressed. He didn’t even wait for the family to finish one verse of Happy Birthday before he was eating his wife’s dessert. That was for sure the lowest class guy in the building. And I know what you’re thinking, but it didn’t look like he was buying. It looked like his daddy was.

Nice atmosphere. If you were there with friends, you could easily talk to one another. There was a lady playing guitar and singing. It was not loud. It was a very acceptable level, and her arrangement choices fit the crowd. It was nice.

Lighting was not too dark, and not very bright and was sitting, I’d say, at about 3000°k. Most people would be able to read a menu without getting out a phone light.

Seemed like the crowd was from the little bit uppitier side of mind. The kind of people that wear Patagonia and have never been camping, or wear Carhartt and have never known that it used to be a brand for people who worked with their hands, not people who have never mowed their own yard.

They had a nice bar that had TVs over the top of it aimed at the general seating area of the restaurant. They had on a ball game. They also had on Fear Factor incase you wanted to watch people do very stressful or disgusting things while you enjoyed your salmon.

The bar looked like it would seat 30-40 people. It was pretty empty. It looked like the place to be if you want to meet up with women who used to have big rings, or women who are looking to get themselves a big ring.

Drew was my server and she was great.

I got a 16 oz ribeye with house seasoning. The green beans were cooked well, but they had enough garlic on them to keep a vampire at bay. They were also kind of long. I had to cut them all up so I didn’t look like a cow trying to wrestle down a mouth full of grass from the neighbor’s side of the fence. The sweet potato was cooked perfectly. I ordered the steak medium rare and it was cooked to a perfect medium rare. The seasoning of the steak was a little inconsistent.
With a Tea, it was $50.

This might be the best restaurant in Jonesboro, but also, maybe not. I don’t know.
I didn’t get a dessert, but they had a good looking list to choose from.

If you are tired of all the chain restaurants that are all over this town, give this pace a try. For sure go on your birthday so you can get a dessert with flare stabbed in it. That’s a treat.”

“I give their food a 3 star bc I have been here 3 times in about 4 months time and every time my steak is messed up. The first time I ordered Fillet and it was their basic steak cut. They said bc Sumos were remodeling and they have some of their cooks and they didnt know. The second time same thing. Today I went ordered a medium fillet and it was a fillet mignon but it was chewy and well done. Everything is great. Service and sushi and sides I guess I shouldn't order steak anymore 😕”

She is super knowledgeable about the menu and knows what she’s doing behind that bar. Even though she was super busy she always checked on me especially after she made my drinks and dropped off my food. And for the food— I got the Shrimp Sedona Pasta, but was unsure about my choice since I didn’t want something so heavy. Liz informed me that it was a light pasta dish with a flavorful ancho butter sauce that paired well with the shrimp, and she hit the nail on the head. The only issue I had with the dish is that they gave me 3 tiny shrimps with it. But it was delicious nonetheless.”

“Sumo's is a good hibachi restaurant, probably the better out of the two here in Jonesboro, but I wouldn't go as far as to say it is the best hibachi you are going to have here in Arkansas. It was just an average hibachi experience. I wish the fried rice was seasoned more, but it was still pretty good. My steak was cooked perfectly, and they accommodated my boyfriend who has a shellfish allergy. Overall, just 4 stars. Nothing memorable, but will get the job done if you're craving hibachi.”

“These are the nastiest wings I ever had in my life, I ordered a 16 piece lemon pepper hot wing and they sent one order of bland hot wings with curly frys and a order of no flavor tasteless wings with cury frys I did not know chicken could be so bland and nasty. we didn't even eat them they're just sitting there, we did not even have dinner because it was so bad.”

“I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, but after moving all around the country, traveling the world, and moving back, I’ve come to realize how lucky we are to have this place. “I do recommend Andy's but that does not mean they are perfect. Yesterday, by JHS in Jonesboro was a bad visit. First, when I got to the window and gave the guy my 'rewards number' he became obviously annoyed and it was very clear to both my wife and I that was the case. Second, it was mixed very poorly. 90% of the caramel in my concrete was in the last 10% of the product. Most of my treat was vanilla custard with a few pecans. My wife's banana split was excellent she said. OK, one bad experience out of more than a dozen. I guess that's good overall.”

They were easy to work with, offered a great space at an affordable rate! Thanks!”

“This is absolutely the most authentic Mexican restaurant in Jonesboro. It is right out of the barrio just west of ASU. Non-pretencious, 100% Abuelitas cooking here. I like the sopes la lingua and the Pizole, which is served traditionally. They are so traditional, and true to their region that they mostly don't have chips and tomato-based salsa, but they will give you fried tortilla's and two amazing salsas, one is avocado based, and the other is very hot chile based on Chile de Arbol (aka Seco) I think? Fabulous working class place, wonderful. Helps if you speak Spanish, but not necessary. It is closed on Tuesdays. . .”

“Jersey Mike Sub it was smacking delicious. The deli fine cut meat with chopped fresh vegetables. The bread was breadolicious. Blend that together those sandwich makers they was making love to those subs drizzle of olive oil. It put a yummy taste to my mouth. Turkey provolone amazing. I tried the strawberries and cream, the cream fruit salad, and the banana split, and shared them with my partner. I must say i understand why the strawberries and cream are a customer favorite, sweet and sour strawberries go well soaked in creamy milk sauce with chocolate and whipped cream. I am SO excited to try their spicy stuff, like their nachos and spicy drinks.

The sandwiches are always fresh and I have never had an issue with my orders. Ordering online or using the app allows some deals and you earn points toward free stuff plus you can order ahead and it's ready when you arrive. It can be a bit pricey but outside that it's good.”

They offer pizza by the slice or you can buy whole pizzas as well. The price is very good as well as the combos of food and drink are below $3. They have an area where you can sit and eat, that gets crowded during peak times or you can take it to go. Not a bad stop after a busy shopping experience.”

“I have lived in Jonesboro for around 4 years now and not once had the chance to try 1812 Pizza Company, and I wish I had tried it sooner. If you're going to a pizza place in Jonesboro that isn't a chain, you should go to 1812 for high quality pies for a reasonable price. My boyfriend and I shared the New Hawaiian Pizza while my friend ordered the Margherita, and I got us all their Jumbo Bone In Wings with Korean BBQ sauce. The New Hawaiian is probably my new favorite Hawaiian Pizza. What I love about Hawaiian Pizzas is that it balances savory flavors with naturally sweet flavors, but the New Hawaiian at 1812 took it a step further by adding what I think are bread and butter pickles and that amazing sauce on top, with even more ham underneath the cheese than on top. While I wish there was more bacon, I think everyone wishes for more bacon on everything. It was still a 10/10 pizza. The wings were also fantastic. The order was supposed to come with 8 wings, but since there was three of us, they were nice enough to throw in one more wing so that all of us could share! Which was really sweet, because the wings were amazing, especially the Korean BBQ sauce. Perfectly savory and not too sweet. Loved it all!”

Ron’s has all type of food like frog legs, shrimp, catfish, steak, crawfish and sides include Cole slaw, French fries greens, peas, creamed potato’s mashed potatoes, and Mac and cheese. The desserts were plentiful to please your sweet tooth. It is all you can eat so don’t be afraid to get a seconds or thirds or fourths. I like that they have a machine which freshly grinds beans so they are rarely out of different roasts of coffee like typical locations. They have the full menu that other Starbucks locations, including food. You can use the app to order ahead and pay too. This location does not have a drive-thru so you will need to go in to pick up any orders. Good and convenient coffee shop.”

And I order my burger no mayo, I have never had a mayo incident, unlike some other places where I have to check if they put sour cream on my burrito. Best late night food option in jonesboro.”

“A large group of us visited recently. They had a nice private dining area. We had mixed reviews on the food. I enjoyed the eggrolls. They looked burned, but they weren't. My husband gave the Jack burger and the loaded mashed potatoes a thumbs up. No complaints about the fish and chips or the chicken strips. But, one person who ordered the chicken Alfredo said her pasta was cold and the sauce lacked any flavor at all. Our server was very nice. It was really hard for him to be as attentive a he probably would liked to have been, because there was another party in the next room. But, overall it was good.
