We had an amazing first-time experience at P.F. Chang’s thanks to our server, John Michael! He truly went above and beyond, recommending his favorite dishes and every single one was delicious. He was attentive, friendly, and made us feel so welcome. We also really appreciated the manager stopping by to check on us and make sure everything was perfect. The customer service and food were outstanding. We’ll definitely be coming back and asking for John Michael again!“

“Found through a random Google search when I was craving for beef noodles. Hidden gem! The dumplings are so good reminds me of home, growing up with dumplings. Highly recommend this place for true flavors of different dumplings. Authentic and fresh. The beef noodles were also good too, there were enough noodles to make it two meals for leftovers. Will definitely be coming back again.“

“Of all the Chinese restaurants in Mesa, I have never enjoyed my dinner as much as I loved Happy Kitchen. Lived here for years, tried them all, this one is a 5 star restaurant. Come hungry, you will rave about the service and the food. A 5 star restaurant.“

“First time here… I will always recommend someone because my experience may not be theirs. My experience, however, is that the flavor was amiss. I ordered chines sausage fried rice and spicy dumplings. On the flip side of that, the food was fresh, the vegetables were fresh, the establishment was serene and clean, and the people were nice. I will give it another shot with a different dish before I completely count it out.“

“I moved to another part of the valley and forgot about one of my favorites. With fast food now costing about 10-15 dollars for a meal, they average about 15 dollars per plate and I always end up with another scrumptious meal to take home;,or in case I get hungry a half an hour later. The honey walnut plate made my taste buds breakdance and the veggies are always fresh . We were close to the kitchen and even when it's packed, the table dividers are high, so it gives the ambiance a refreshingly quaint feel.“

“Such a great little spot we always eat in while visiting Phoenix. All the food is delicious and comes out so quickly. We were excited to eat and never got pics but the Chicken Tso’s, fried rice and war wonton soup were all wonderful.
The service was wonderful and she checked on us often to make sure we had all we need.

“Love this place. You guys are doing it all wrong. You use the sweet and sour pork sauce to make sweet and sour chicken. Best egg rolls around. People complain about small food selection. But they always get the same items anyway at the bigger buffets for 25 dollars.“

“This is my first time here. I stopped in for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. I was surprised to see that they offered their lunch specials on weekends also.
It seemed to be a husband and wife team working the restaurant.
I ordered the shrimp with vegetables. From the lunch special. Everything was served in to go containers even if it was ordered to dine in as I did. They did however give you regular fork and spoon which is nice. I hate to with undersized plastic forks.
The service was fast and genuinely nice. The food came quick fresh and hot.
It was a great experience and fair price.“

“We have been moving to our new apartment for a few days. And we are barely starting to unpack. I don't have anything to cook with yet until we finish unpacking. I can say this place FIRE!!!!! “I used to come here with my family as a kid on a very regular basis in the early 2000s and always loved it! I’m not sure why I ever stopped coming in. I decided to come in today randomly and I am so glad I did! It did not disappoint one bit. I remembered really loving the hot and sour soup and yup- still do!! The wonton chips were always a hit back then too. Overall I’m very happy I came in! I ordered the Beef Chow Fun and Lunch Orange Chicken. Yum!“

“The won ton soup is always good. Edamame we get. The most Chinese authentic around in the area you can get. Low mein is good. Orange chicken. Steamed veggies. We get egg rolls. Can’t speak for any of the beef or pork plates but all the chicken ones are good. Family owned so like supporting the small business.“

“The foods are amazing! I love roasted duck! It’s tender and juicy inside but not over salty the same time! Love the congee style beef soup. Love this taro pork belly pot! “My wife and I stopped in for lunch and I must admit, I was blown away. They cook every single dish to order, even the fried rice. We watched as they masterfully banged out dishes for to-go orders. As far as ours, the fried rice was smashing good.. it was light with a little crisp to it. The chicken was awesome, the sauces were awesome too. Ignore the complaining reviews and give this place a shot. Your taste-buds will Thank You“

“Ordered a bowl of 꽃게 짬뽕(crab spicy seafood noodle soup). This was fire!! Broth was full of flavor, they didnt skimp on ingredients and price was reasonable. Too bad I dont live in Phoenix area. I would love to eat here more often. 5 stars is justified.“

“I visited this evening (06/15/25) and was very impressed with the service. I asked if I could order three large entrées consisting of just meat and shrimp for meal prepping. The server was cheerful, attentive, and went above and beyond to help. Without me even asking, she took the time to compare options and suggested that I go with a family meal instead as it comes with extra rice or noodles for just a dollar more. She also served generous portions as well. If this location is within reach, I highly recommend checking it out!“

“I used to go here like 5 years ago on and off when i used to work around this area one summer. Recently i decided to get food from here after all these years and overall it’s literally some of the best chinese food I’ve ever eaten in the Phoenix area. Prices are really good as a lunch special ($7 for sweet and sour chicken which is what i got) and the portions are large. They also, since i ordered sweet and sour chicken, give a decent sized cup of sweet and sour sauce on the side to use. They understood the assignment thats for sure! 😆

“One of the authentic Asian restaurants in the town. Recommend if you're looking for shared foods with a bunch of friends (more than 6ppl) and want to try some great, warm Chinese dishes.
The price is insanely affordable as well.
We ordered more than 10 dishes (including 2 fried rice), cost around 25/ppl including tips.
And we were all FULL - had food coma right after!
Btw, they're very efficient when they bring up the dishes, won't let you keep waiting👍🏻“

“The best Chinese Szechuan food in Arizona. If you want American Chinese this place has those dished, but elevated. If you are looking to expand your pallet, their traditional dishes are flavor bombs. It isn't overbearing spicy, it is hot and tingling numbing to the taste buds. It took a bit of time for us to decipher the menu and I highly recommend you look at their website for pictures to pre-plan dishes you'd want. We highly recommend the chili dumplings, sliced beef & tongue in chili sauce, pork ribs with spices as starters. The pork ribs in dry pot was texture heaven. We had to get some vegetables and the stir-fried green beans made an omnivore out of me, it was addicting. I want to get the same dish we had the first time again, but I have high hopes for the rest of their offerings.“
