I was so upset because my order was wrong but the way I treated and taken care here was so wonderful!! My drink was corrected and was so delicious!!! They greet me by name. They know my drink without having to ask. But more than that, they treat me like family—with genuine kindness, radiant energy, and an attention to detail that’s rare even in the most intimate cafes.

It’s not often you find a team so deeply invested in what they do—especially under the umbrella of a massive global brand. But somehow, this crew takes the big Starbucks name and delivers the heart and soul of a mom-and-pop shop. Their passion, consistency, and love for the community shine through in every interaction.

“Love this location. The staff is helpful and friendly. My only issue is that recently they have decided to treat the place like a nightclub rather than a coffee shop.... They have the music up loud! It is neither conducive for personal conversations and/or phone calls. If I wanted a nightclub atmosphere I would have gone to a nightclub rather than Starbucks.“

“Nice place, friendly drive-thru. I was traveling through, and I did notice with the first drink that the shots in my iced mocha were not only not burnt, but the cup was probably swirled with mocha in it as the shots pulled so it incorporated smoothly and had that nice sweetness. So, well done! I really appreciate it, that kind of applied skill to a well made drink.“

“This specific location is the best Starbucks I have ever been to, and I’ve been to MANY. The moment you walk through the door, one of the staff members always greets you and acknowledges you. If they can’t help you immediately, they communicate that they will help you in a moment.
Whoever the manager is of this shift and the entire staff needs a raise.
In addition to the amazing staff, they are very particular about the way they make the drinks. I don’t know what they do different but the lattes, cold brews and espresso just tastes better and fresh at this location.“

“Starbucks inside Safeway, so what more do you want. Closes way before the store does. Some tables, and some leather chairs, so a good place to take a breather from a long shopping trip. Coffee is Starbucks average, so if you like that you won't be disappointed, and if you don't you will not be surprised.“

“I ordered a decaffeinated coffee drink and the girl who was working there around 8:45 am Oct. 11, 2024 (I didn’t catch her name) made the drink with caffeinated coffee, but then told me that she was making a new one that was decaf since she made a mistake. She didn’t have to do that, but she went out of her way to make sure I got the right drink and I’m really thankful for that. Really great service!“

“I spent five consecutive days at this location, staying for over seven hours each day. Although I don’t live nearby, my child was attending a camp in the area. Since my home is over an hour away, I chose to stay close rather than make the long drive back and forth. I decided to spend my time at one of my favorite places.

I can honestly say this was the cleanest, friendliest, and most welcoming Starbucks I’ve ever been to.

During slower moments, the staff didn’t just stand around—they were constantly tidying up. They cleaned everything down to the smallest details, like wiping syrup bottles, moving appliances to clean behind them, and refilling jugs. And they did it all with genuine smiles on their faces. As someone who’s a bit of a clean freak, I was beyond impressed. They went above and beyond all of my expectations.“

“I'm a Starbucks snob. I grew up with Starbucks at UBC, because the campus was replete with 5 Starbucks cafes (the campus is home to over 15, 000 university students).

However, Kierland Commons is not near a university campus. I adored strolling here from where I lived across the street. I had a townhouse in a luxury, gated community. I lived there while I attended ASU and worked in Kierland Commons. My partner is American. He owns the townhouse. He owns a lot of property across the USA as he is a very successful business man.

This Cafe was the ideal place to purchase Americanos and lunch while shopping at Bebe, J Crew, Chanel, VS and Anthropologie

While Starbucks isn't Italian Espresso, it indisputably was the only coffee I ever drank for 10 years. Undeniably, my tastes have further evolved with age, but my coffee interest remains the same.

Moreover, I always enjoyed perusing the parking lot here. This parking lot featured a myriad of Bentleys, Jaguars, Maseratis, Aston Martins and Rolls Royces.

I'm not a car connoisseur,but you certainly have to be a member of the upper echelons to own these vehicles.“

“I’ve been coming to this Starbucks for over 10 years, and it’s been great to see how much it has improved over time. I remember when this location was much smaller — cozy, but often crowded and hard to find a seat. Since then, they’ve expanded by taking over the next-door space, and the difference is amazing!

Now it’s bright, spacious, and so much more comfortable. There are plenty of tables and seating areas for relaxing, working, or meeting friends. The atmosphere feels open and welcoming without losing that classic Starbucks vibe.

The staff are friendly, the drinks are consistent, and the whole place is always clean and well-kept. Whether you’re here for a quick coffee or to spend a few hours on your laptop, this location is a great spot.

“This is a small Starbucks, and it looked a bit dingy at first glance. There was nary a customer, and the front counter had a grim vibe.. but don't appearance fool you. They do have a full menu stocked with all the delicious choices that you'd see elsewhere. They even had the new holiday drinks out which was very nice.Also, the flavor of the coffee drink I had was consistent with what I've had elsewhere. Cashier was quick and efficient too, and I was in and out of their in no time with my caffeine fix. :)“

“It’s a busy little place with limited seating but the staff manages it well. They are friendly and efficient. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars for atmosphere is because it is busy and I am tired. But it really is a great place.
