“great views, fun funky decor, great place for cocktails and food”
“Love love love! Beautiful atmosphere, great service and fantastic food!”
“Been to Society about 5 times now and have never been disappointed. Amazing food (The Diablo beef tips and the Evo salad (Kale) is incredible. I never thought I'd say that about kale, but you have to try it to understand. Excellent service and Uber friendly staff too. Highly recommend!”
“Grilled Alantic Salmon and the Blood Orange Cosmo was delicious.”

“Most reviews mention that the wait staff are friendly and helpful, and are able to recommend suitable beer and food pairings.”
“Avasa is a stunning restaurant that impresses with its elegant decor and warm ambiance. The standout feature for me was the charming selfie corner, which added a fun touch to our visit. My friends and I had a delightful time indulging in an array of delicious dishes, each bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The staff truly elevated our experience with their genuine friendliness and constant smiles, making us feel welcomed and well-cared for throughout our meal. Overall, Avasa offers not just a meal, but a memorable dining experience that I thoroughly loved!”

“Went there for a friends bday and the girls were very attentive and very polite. The food was amazing I had the cheeseburger with all of the workings. My friends had the wings and she devoured the plate. It was her first time and my second. They did not disappoint.”
“I have my top three or four when it comes to Middle Eastern food places near me. Pita Valley is one of the best in this area. I had the Shawarma combo plate with a side of grape leaves. Essentially enough food for lunch and dinner. Maybe even lunch again.
Pretty much whatever you choose here will be delicious. I strongly recommend this place.”
“I met the owner (Farrah) at Sprouts with her sister and beautiful baby boy (Malak). She invited me over on Monday 5/26, I went over and I was not disappointed. I had the catfish, with fries& lemon pepper wings with a drink, lunch combo and it was so GOOD! The fish & wings was crispy, seasoned well and the fries were awesome as well. I also had the banana pudding and I was in love!! The place was clean and I loved being able to watch sports on the TV and the music in the background was 90's old school which had me singing along. I'll definitely be back to try the chicken tenders as I have heard they are best around.”
“Fresh made delicious pasta, amazing brunch menu, exotic wine selections, and an amazing atmosphere! Love this place definitely recommend 👌👩🍳😘”
“It's weird to talk about how great a brewery is by leading with salad, but in this case, I have to. I normally get whatever pub fare a brewery has but I was feeling something lighter, and the buffalo chicken salad is one of the best salads I've ever had. The beer here is also very very good bordering on great. They have a good variety of lighter stuff, barrel aged stuff, and IPAs, but it was really nice for me to be able to get a full flight with no IPAs as they aren't typically my favorite. In my mind, a must go to if you're in town. Beers took forever to come out despite me seeing my flight across the bar for 10 minutes, that's my only knock.”
“We are here from Massachusetts visiting our son who just had surgery. He wanted to take us for some amazing food and man he was spot on ! We have been here for five days and we eat out a lot. This Zu & Pocha Restaurant is by far top notch. It not only exceeded all of our expectations but surpassed a couple of crazy high-end joints that couldn't hold a candle to this place. I would be remissed if I didn't mention the amazing team effort from a top notch staff. Back home you would have a line out the door. My wife and I are stuffed with delicious food and drink. We will be back without question every time we visit our son or should I say we will visit our son when we come back to have a fantastic meal for a great value. Thanks again, Your newest biggest fans Bob & Paula”

“Had the best waiter, Paul. Drinks from bar were outstanding. Love the choice of sides…….so many fresh vegetables prepared nicely. Hubs got the Alaskan Halibut, I got the King Crab legs. We are not opposed to spending money on a nice meal. But for a pound of king Crab Legs at $82 to have the shell soft, I was a bit disappointed. Most of the meat was good, the ends were dried out. I believe they sat in water too long.”
“Such a hidden gem! Great food, amazing service from a genuine family-run restaurant where you can tell they take care to make sure you love your food and your experience. Highly recommend! We had the spicy edamame and have tried a bunch of different rolls, and they are all delicious. The Poki Roll is incredible🤤 I will say though, the wasabi is a little weird and doesn’t give you that “bite”.”

“Food was very good. We were the only ones there. Service very slow. Once server took our order, no one paid any attention to us. Had to flag server down to get a 2nd beer. Went up to the bar to pay our bill. No one acknowledged us when we left. Food was excellent, though.”
“Giving 4 stars only because it was our first time and we couldn't quite figure out how to order food or if we seat ourselves. Just not sure if it was table service or what. We took a chance and sat at an open table and we were promptly greeted by our server. Menu by QR code had lots of choices at very reasonable prices. Food translated well and was fantastic. Everything was hot and fresh and seasoned well. Would highly recommend.”

“Being a regular customer these past weeks I notice how efficient everyone works together, creating a positive environment. The dinning area is kept cleaned and customers are always greeted when they walk through the doors. Especially, by Stacy who seems to have a great rapport with the staff and customers. She greets everyone and makes sure their visit is enjoyable.”
“Best Tuesday taco special in town. $1.30 something per taco. They’re loaded with beef and cheese and lettuce and crispy! Get a water with it and 4 tacos and you’ll be full. I think 5 is too many unless you’re absolutely starving and even still. My favorite is the green salsa.”
“This is my favorite Filib’s in the valley. They have sandia agua fresca and a comforting junior Texas burrito, with slow roasted chicken, potatoes and sour cream. Other valley locations often won’t do a junior burrito or have the aguas frescas like this location has. Keep up the great work”
“Jack in the Box knows how to make great-tasting food for a reasonable price. Whether you have the munchies or are hungry as a bear, they'll have something you'll like. I love their crunchy tacos and tiny tacos. Just avoid the one in downtown Tempe because they take forever in the drive thru.”
“I went in Friday afternoon for a meal, I was helped by a girl in the drive thru I believe her name was Susy. She was very kind and had great customer service. She went over new items on Menu and helped me made a good choice after I was undecided on what to order . will definitely come back to this location thanks to her !”
“Service is AMAZING and FOOD Phenomenal!! Highly recommended.”
“My friend is in town and she has celiac so we were trying to find a good place for her to have variety. We found a recommendation for this place on a gluten-free page. To say the food was amazing is an understatement. I was shocked at how gluten friendly they are, even to the point of having a dedicated oven for the gluten-free pizza us. My friend was overwhelmed with all the amazing options, and absolutely loved that she could pick whatever she wanted. We had the focaccia bread, the bacon, mac & cheese, and the fungi Florentine pizza. Dessert we tried the apple crisp and the tiramisu, both are which are gluten-free. The food was incredible. We will definitely be back.”
Takeout Restaurants
“The only Mariscos I'll eat in Arizona! Tastes so fresh and reminds me of the ceviche back home in Mexico!”
“Went there (party of two) last night for a meal of appetizers and drinks. We ordered the shrimp cocktail hoping for a chunky ceviche-type experience. The flavors were good and just the perfect kick. Our preference is a little less tomato juice and a little more of the chunky ingredients (reason for 4 on food). We also ordered the Queso Fundido. Very good flavors. Love the chorizo and the homemade corn tortillas.
Cadillac marg in a small glass...$19 (yikes!). Good but maybe not worth that price.
Service was excellent.
Downsides on this restaurant in general is how loud it is inside (reason for 3 of atmosphere) and how challenging to park(nothing they can do about parking).
Whoever owns this corner has put wayyyy too many busy restaurants in place for the amount of parking. So, if you want to come here arrive early as the restaurant is popular and they do not take reservations.
I definitely think overall the food is worth it and we will come back.”

“Let’s see if you care enough to respond- So disappointed! Why are you charging for 20 oz drinks and serving in obviously undersized cups that when weighed are only 15 oz including the cup?!? Using holiday cups w your logo and paying for them by undercutting what your regular loyal customers are paying to get is a lowsy way of doing business. Stop using the undersized cups to up off your regular loyal customers as a means of paying for your holiday cups! Or, 🤔 maybe customers should be warned that they’re not getting what they are paying for- unsavory and poor business practices. And update your menu! No excuse to not serve sugar free and low fat options when diabetics and weight conscious clients are also paying clients who now have to go elsewhere because you don’t serve them! Shame on Bikini Beans! Or did you think that girls in things w sweat dripping off their bodies while making our drinks and overly sugaring drinks will make up for inadequacy?!? And make sure that your scantily clad servers at least wear antiperspirant and take the time to write what the drink is on the lid so when omeone orders two or more (as I have been for sometime now) they can actually tell which drink is which! Do the photos below look like something you’d pay for and actually consume w confidence?!? Now let’s see if Bikini Beans even cares enough to reply!”
“I had the sandwich and tender combo and ordered 3 tender boxes for the rest of the guys at work. The food is good but I felt the amount of time it took to get the food was a bit long for the small amount of people before the lunch rush. The atmosphere is not bad since they have several TV's with different programs playing. The staff is friendly and they have a good amount of items on the menu.”
“An incredible tradionally styled ramen shop! An incredibly friendly atmosphere was present the second I walked through the door. I had the house special tonkotsu ramen with all toppings, and when asked I decided to get medium spiciness (which was definitely within the Japanese standard of spice, which might be lower than you're used to if you have a lot of Mexican food like I do). The noodles were a perfect texture and taste, the broth was the perfect mix of savory with the richness tonkotsu is known for. The toppings like pickled ginger and black fungus added a delightful acidity.
I also had a side of a pork katsu bowl, which was absolutely delightful and was an excellent mild compliment to the diverse flavors of the house ramen.
This is my new local ramen shop and I couldn't be happier with the quality of food and service.”
“Great place located in Tempe under new ownership! great service and great fresh menu!”
“the owners use to own got sushi in east mesa. my 1st experience to " sashimi" the freshest and best that I have e experienced in the last 6 yrs. Check out their new location you wont be disappointed. the freshest you will ever have!!”

“I came for the Dubai chocolate bar! It was delicious & packaged beautifully! Subtle pistachio flavor. Love the crispy texture. I just wish it was bigger & had more filling ? the staff was very nice & the cafe was clean. I’ll definitely be back to try the drinks & other desserts!”
“Very great people food was delightful and staff was pleasant. I came on Thanksgiving day as they were open and one of the staff even helped to take care of a homeless woman as she did not have anything on Thanksgiving day he made sure she had food and to see someone who was without be taken care of by a restaurant was absolutely beautiful. Again can not express how wonderful and kind they were.”
“Lovely place to go out for breakfast or brunch with your family, friends or partner. Service is always friendly and attentive and the portion sizes for skillets and pancakes are generous. Their skillets are also really good. They also have an interesting fruit platter too, with pineapple, honeydew, grapefruit, cantaloupe, watermelon etc.
It's one of my partner's and I's favorite places to go for brunch, and I'm always looking forward to eating here again :)”
“First time visiting this place today (12/05/24) and it was fantastic. The service, food and atmosphere are all top notch. Already making plans to take friends and family.”
“Great food...They have a wonderful gluten free pasta option that keep me coming back. Also we were so surprised they had live music on a Friday night. Great food, great services, great entertainment!!”
“Awesome place. Beer was fab, great food, super friendly staff, and lively guests. I've already let my local friends and family know about this hidden away gem.”
“Wow. I loved this place! Kira was our waitress and she did an amazing job guiding us through the big menu! Her service was above and beyond what we normally get elsewhere. You can tell she loves helping customers choose from all they have to offer! The burnt ends and brisket was out of this world and the mac and cheese woooah. Fun and cool environment with such good food. Can’t wait to go back to try the drinks and other goodies. Recommend 10/10”
“Excellent sushi and always pleasant service. Been coming here for years and continue to enjoy.”
“We celebrated our company party at Fate Brewing Company and had a fantastic time. The staff and Manager were amazing and super helpful. The food was delicious and service amazing!”
“Walked in, it was very dark but it's summer. It was dark, cool and pretty great environment. The cocktails are handcrafted but they are not pretentious. This is a casual and fun environment, they are incredibly friendly, our Mixologist was Kalo and he was awesome. I love this place, I recommend this place for a first date, after work cocktail or anytime. Amazing!”
“This was the first time I had tried egusi soup and fufu and it was instantly a new favorite. The goat was cooked beautifully and everything tasted amazing. I plan on trying even more of their menu!”
“We went for family celebration. Everyone ordered something different. Everyone was happy with their meal. Service was great. My favorite was the fried rice.”
“Fantastic atmosphere, food & drinks - we loved it! We dined at the Scottsdale location and had CJ as our “tour guide” - he was phenomenal, as well. 10/10 recommend!”
“Always a great meal and service at a reasonable price. It’s a bit noisy, but that’s a small trade off for the awesome experience. Hard to beat!!!”
“Excellent food and service. The atmosphere is amazing along with the views and the way the seating areas are arranged, you feel like you're at one with the outdoors. Great experience!”
“Delicious food in the heart of Tempe! Alter Ego is a ground-floor restaurant and bar where every day is about celebrating life and living in the moment.”
“I know India has many different regions and flavors but for the masses here in the US hear me when I say this is one of the best Indian restaurants in Arizona if not the US. Fresh food pungent spices and cooked to order. There is something for everyone and the staff can help guide your selections. Give it a try.”
“Cocina Chiwa is an absolute gem and dare I say, I enjoyed more than sister restaurant, Bacanora.
Every bite here is bursting with flavor and creativity. We started with the elote corn, and wow — it was smoky, creamy, and perfectly charred. One of the best I’ve had. The burrata salad was a surprising standout — the combo of velvety burrata with roasted squash and sweet potatoes was both comforting and refreshing.
The carnitas tacos were Juicy, tender pork with bold seasoning, nestled in warm blue corn tortillas...3 of them.. So simple, so perfect. They hit all the right notes.
Vibe? Chill, stylish, and full of good energy. Service? Friendly and fast. Cocina Chiwa has that magic mix of great food, great people, and great atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back.”
“The bar that serves authentic Philly cheesesteaks! The owner was raised in South Philly, 10/10”
“Great place to take your sugar daddy side piece when you’re trying not to get caught.”
“Liked this store having a lot of official and licensed Genshin merch, though as a genshin player who recently moved to play Honkai Starrail, I was disappointed with the limited amount there, it had a ton of Genshin merch on the other hand though. I know the website has a ton of Honkai merch on the website, but in the story there is almost none here sadly. It’s quite annoying because looking at the website it shows a ton of merch, but there’s none. Still if you’re a fan of Mihoyo, this place is for you.”
“Lou Malnati's never disappoints us transplanted Chicagoans. From the generous fresh salad to the “Lou” deep dish pizza, always amazing and delicious. Great job all!”
“Nice music and Nice people!. You Will have a blast in Mijana!”
“This review for Cortez is long overdue. To add the very short of it at the start, if you live in Arizona and drink freshly roasted coffee daily and you are not buying from Cortez, you need to at least try a bag. My first order was because it was cheaper than other local specificity roasters. I keep returning for more because of Cortez’s unique selection of odd and exciting fermentations and processes (Juicy Lulo springs to mind quickly). It is some of the best coffee you will ever have. Story Time: Sorry, not sorry. I used to go down the street from work and pick up bags from another Arizona roaster; however, I was laid off from GM along with over 900+ other people. I found Cortez by searching for a local coffee roaster that I could order by mail that would not break the bank to save some money. I made my first order on Nov 8th, 2023, and ordered a bag of Columbia Ocampos, plus some other small 8oz bags from Cameroon. I made my first cup of Ocampos and quickly realized that it was one of the best cups of coffee I have had, and with that, he had me hooked because, on Nov 22nd, I ordered a second order, then Dec 10th, Dec 22nd; you get the idea... I have been drinking coffee daily from Cortez for over a year, and each new, unique coffee gets better and better. My standard order is a monthly 2lb bag of Vulcan Azul for espresso and each new drop. When writing this, it is Colombia Vergel, which is just… amazing! It is fruity, acidic, and a real treat for the senses; who knew coffee could be so wild and flavorful! I had the pleasure of meeting Ron Cortez at his cafe (The Bright Side) in Tempe once a few months ago. He was an absolute pleasure, and I felt I could speak with him about coffee for quite a while. I ordered a pour-over Finca Amalita (that is his farm, so cool!), which was made in a vandola, and to this day, I have not had a better cup of coffee, and I really need to find some time to go back. Anyway... long story short, buy some Cortez Coffee.”
“They truly need more staff, but I guess we are all getting used to waiting and feeling sorry for subpart service no matter where you go. Food was awesome and staff did what they could. 2 Waiters 2 cooks, For the size of the place? on a Friday night? just no Bueno.”
“Incredibly fresh tasting shrimp! Every part of my meal was just a little bit better than I expected, even the corn tortillas were particularly tasty!”
“peace and. blessings letting me come shot my video and vibe with righteous people 2boii.com”
“Got delivered on DoorDash. Disappointed I didn’t get a Hawaiian roll as I had ordered. They could’ve been out but no one called me to see if I wanted another kind of bread.. taste was still good just bad service.”
“This was my first time in Phoenix and I had a blast. First thing that morning I went for breakfast. I was the first customer at 7am. I decided on the freshman breakfast with vegan sausage. It was incredible! The eggs were fluffy and so buttery. The home fries were so well seasoned that I didn't even need ketchup. This was the first time I've been offered vegan sausage as a replacement. It was delightful. I absolutely love this spot. It is without a doubt one of the best eateries in the area! #ashsaidit”
“It was amazing funny I had a great time the food was delicious and my Godzilla drink”
“We have been here many times. I feel like the portion sizes were more generous than in the past. Everything was delicious- fried chicken, chicken katsu sandwich, burger, pasta dish. Eli was our server and he was very attentive and friendly and did not make us feel rushed. A member of our party accidentally left their wallet on the table and the restaurant called us right away and we went back and got it with everything still intact. Bonus: we were seated right near a TV with the Nets summer league game playing. 10/10”
“This review is for the Rainforest Cafe gift shop at the mall. Love the rainforest vibes, with its faux waterfall exterior sign and the fog machines over the alligator and the the parrot. They have a lot of cute rainforest animal plushies inside along with other nice souvenirs. They also have a dipping dots and this huge water column. Everything was well-organized and love the splashes of colors from the colorful souvenirs.
Accessible entrance and accessible parking mall-front.”
“Tempe resident here. Hubby and I drop in from time to time and it's always been pleasant. There are a half-dozen or so local beers on tap, plus the usual (Buds & such), and wine, and a full bar if you're hankering for a cocktail. The menu is very short, just 5 or 6 items, but they're done well. The indoor area is very cozy and when the weather is nice it opens onto a lovely patio in the courtyard.OK, we were married in the courtyard 30 years ago so I may be biased, but I don't think so.”
“Great place to eat and happy hour time it’s a great time to eat! Best kbq in Arizona. Please try it out!”
“The bar that serves authentic Philly cheesesteaks! The owner was raised in South Philly, 10/10”
“Great service all the way through. Very accommodating and friendly staff. The appetizers were tasty and done well (empanadas, guacamole & plantains), salmon entree was decent. The views were exceptional. The sun shade on the west window made for an enjoyable experience as the sun set. Will definitely be back. Thank you to the staff.”
“Not ADA accessible to people with disabilities.. no elevators.. was denied access to a show.. will be reporting this because it’s against ADA law.”
“Came here with my hubby on a Friday night for date night. The live music was fantastic! Pearl Ridge performed everything from Matchbox 20, Ed Sheeran, and Janis Joplin which was a total blast! The green chile burger was the BEST green chile burger I have ever had - highly recommend!! My husband got the chicken tacos which were also really good (the chicken was good too- I had a bite and got no icky pieces of chicken and I'm very picky about getting chewy fatty pieces but my bite was tender and delicious) just wish they came with a side like rice/beans, etc. Hubby had to pick fries off my plate for more food. We came at sunset so the view was absolutely beautiful and honestly every table gives you a great view of the lake. Service was definitely slow, maybe because it was a Friday night. Our waitress did get tied up helping out the bartender at the bar. We weren't in a rush and were enjoying the music so we didn't mind this but for others it is good to know this is a place you hang out at and not a place you rush in and out of, especially on a Friday night. We also noticed there were several tables there who were there before we got there and were still there as we were leaving (they were all having a great time and so was the restaurant as a whole!) We spent about an hour and a half there for dinner and 2 drinks so definitely slower service but like I said we weren't in a rush and were enjoying the entertainment from Pearl Ridge. We will most definitely be back! Oh and yes they had big fans to keep the space cool and do have a set up for misters for the summer months. Smoking is permitted in the restaurant too so you may be around a cigarette or two as well just FYI but it definitely wasn't a smoke fest so it wasn't bothersome by any means (Edited review to add photos)”
“Great space to hang out with family playing ping pong and throwing bags!!!”
“Hot, juicy, and wildly chaotic. I left with sauce on my elbows and a grin on my face. Shout-out to Vladimir, our waiter, really engaging and the manager! Very sweet hospitality and the spices. Spot on seasonings 💯👌”

“Born & raised in San Diego, I've lived in Tempe for 7 years now. I'm a Mexican food lover that will travel far & wide in my search for good Mexican food. Sonora Cocina Express is a 1/2 mile from my front door but I'd never been there before. All that has changed now... I've been there 3 times in the last week. What do I like about this joint? #1... it has a different menu. This is not the typical drive-thru taco shop... not the typical sit-down Mexican restaurant. #2... they serve 5 different soups... 6 days a week! #3... they serve street tacos... with 7 different meats available. #4... there are daily specials. Friday is a tamale special... and the red pork tamales are made fresh that day! So far... I eaten the Red Pozole... Cabeza Tacos... Green Chilaquiles w/ Eggs... and the Red Menudo w/ Bread. All were delicious!”
“My wife and I had lunch here and loved both the food and the service. The food was fresh and delicious! I especially enjoyed the El Jefe beef tacos and my wife says the goat meat tacos are to die for!. The Aztec Fry bread comes with powdered sugar, chocolate syrup and honey. Great way to top off lunch!”

“This place is amazing, went there for food and a charity event that they helped sponsor for kids. Definitely will be coming back. I had the BBQ and wings and both were amazing. Teresa and Mel are the best and will take care of you. Never seen an owner of an establishment working in every area of the place to make sure their customers are happy like I did there.”

“I have been here two times the 1st time I got the pastrami sandwich. it was so good the slaw on top was crunchy and delicious. the second time I got the spaghetti shipwreck let me tell you it was amazing it all just goes great in one meal. I did have it for lunch and dinner shared it with the wife. I will be back again and will try something different each time I can't wait to try them all. the picture is the shipwreck such a generous portion.”
