“Sat at the bar with a few of the regulars to watch the first half of the Monday Night Football game which they were kind enough to play while also having a playoff baseball game on one of the other screens. Enjoyed a bottle of Merlot at half price during happy hour which our bartender Taylor was prompt to be sure my glass was never empty, alongside a bottle of sparkling water. No food since I'd just had Thanksgiving lunch, however I did notice one of their staff Adam with a big jar of olives which when I asked for some, they were kind enough to share a handful in a glass to my delight. Super friendly staff and solid service will most definitely have me back for future happy hour visits to catch up with my mates.“

“Really not obvious location. At first we weren't sure if we were at the right location. Once we found, turned out to be great pub with really good atmosphere . Typical pub food that didn't disappoint. Servers were polite and friendly. Plenty of things to do. Will definitely go there again“

“IHOP has a variety of breakfast on menu. My parents ordered the 55+ and I ordered the lighter value deal. The pancakes were very fluffy. It's a very stuffy breakfast.

The waitress was very nice. The service was not slow. Now the know why it's always busy whenever I passed by to get to the mall.“

“Kapow Burger is a fun, quirky spot with a small seating area inside and a roadside patio that gives it a lively, casual vibe. They have games you can bring to your table, which makes it a great place to hang out with friends while you eat. It’s self-service, but the staff were super quick and really friendly.

We both ordered the Double Kapow and the burger itself was really good. My only small complaint was that the buns were cold..a warm bun would’ve taken it from great to top-notch.

It’s definitely a loud, busy place on a Saturday night, but that just adds to the energetic atmosphere. A solid spot if you’re looking for a fun, no-frills burger night. 🍔“

“Denny's knows how to pack everything perfectly for a takeout order, I've ordered a couple times and nothing missed or made wrong, delicious. “Such a lovely spot to enjoy a sunny day! We visited Tap & Barrel on Granville Island and had the perfect time enjoying good food, drinks, and beautiful views. We ordered the truffle fries, Brussels sprouts, and mushroom pizza, and everything was delicious. The vibe was great, and sitting outside with the view on a sunny day made it even better. Perfect place to catch up with friends, enjoy some drinks, and soak in the atmosphere. Definitely recommend!“

“It's important to remember when visiting Quizine that this is an educational / learning environment for VCC students. I've never had a bad meal from Quizine and I find the prices super reasonable considering what you get. Decent selection of items (although I have to admit that my dietary restrictions are minimal so I can't speak on that front). It can be a little slow when it's busy but, again, that's to be expected.“

First time I've been here in 50 years and it will not be the last. The sole waitress was also the hostess, cashier, busser, and coffee refiller. The owner cooked, served and cashier. With restaurants dropping like flies in Vancouver due to high cost and labour shortage, it's amazing to see how efficiently this old school diner is run to keep labour cost and menu prices down.“

“Definitely a respectable smash burger. Patty is well seared with lots of crispy bits on the edges and a great flavour. Sauce was good on the burger as well (I had the big cheeser).

The location is typical Chinatown, pretty rough and dirty outside but ok after coming inside. There were a lot of flies in the restaurant. Not a huge deal, but there was a significant amount flying around our food.

I wanted to love the dirty fries but they just didn’t do it for me. Tasted like bagged fries with toppings on them. Looked good and portions were generous though, just didn’t live up to the hype.

Gluten free bun upcharge was 3.75 which is the highest upcharge for a gluten free bun I’ve encountered in the city.

Service was friendly though and the burger itself is definitely worth trying, however, there is definitely a lot of hype around this place from social media and I’m not sure it lives up to the hype.“

“I went there to watch the World Cup today, and I had a great experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, and both the beer and the food were excellent. The Beef Ragu was especially memorable, it was so delicious that I'd happily come back just for that. I also really enjoyed the dark beer. As a sports pub, it had a great atmosphere, and watching the game was comfortable with excellent views of the screens. I'll definitely be back!“

“I’m currently sitting at the bar, the beer on tap was good, and the bar service was good. I ordered a Bison Burger which was just OK, the patty was dry, and the fixings were just OK. The French fries SUCKED, it felt like I got the dregs of the Mckains bag, small and very underwhelming. When I asked the bartender if he wanted any feedback, he said “I didn’t cook it”. I informed him, that I was aware he didn’t cook it. When I asked the bartender’s if he passed my comments onto the kitchen he said “No”. I paid my bill and let him know through the mechanism of tipping, all was just OK. T - to I - insure P - proper S - service Great atmosphere.“
