“Top tier semi hidden bar! It's a bit of a time capsule to an older-Van style, unpretentious sports-bar roadhouse type place. The location is unusual, sort of at the basement of an apartment complex on a road you've never been to before, situated on an urban residential cul-de-sac, giving the bar a sheen of surreality.

With many pool tables, lots of tables, two big screens for 2 different games to watch, and good prices for beer, I'd be here all the time if it was local to me.

Special mention for the food: had the chef's special lasanga last night and it was so good ordered a second dinner to try!

“This was the second best food I’ve ever tasted after my mother’s cooking. The waffles were so fresh and soft, the mozzarella sticks were so cheesy, everything was fresh! Even their omelettes! (which is rare in other restaurants) our server Naomi was sooooo kind! And so are the other servers. It’s a nice atmosphere, amazing service, and the food was amazing. Overall, infinity/10“

“Kapow Burger is a fun, quirky spot with a small seating area inside and a roadside patio that gives it a lively, casual vibe. They have games you can bring to your table, which makes it a great place to hang out with friends while you eat. It’s self-service, but the staff were super quick and really friendly.

We both ordered the Double Kapow and the burger itself was really good. My only small complaint was that the buns were cold..a warm bun would’ve taken it from great to top-notch.

It’s definitely a loud, busy place on a Saturday night, but that just adds to the energetic atmosphere. A solid spot if you’re looking for a fun, no-frills burger night. 🍔“

“Such an awesome spot and we had the best experience there! Right from the start, the front desk crew was super welcoming and friendly, which instantly set a great vibe for the whole visit. Huge bonus points for the underground parking too, because finding a spot around there can usually be a massive headache, but this made everything so easy and stressfree. The real showstopper is definitely the patio. The view is absolutely incredible since you're right on the water and get a perfect, clear shot of the stadium. The atmosphere out there is so lively, fun, and energetic, making it the ultimate place to just kick back, enjoy a few drinks, and people watch. The energy of the crowd is super contagious, the service is quick even when they're packed, and sitting by the waterfront with that breeze just can't be beat. It's easily one of the best patio spots in the city and I'll definitely be back regular!“

“It's important to remember when visiting Quizine that this is an educational / learning environment for VCC students. I've never had a bad meal from Quizine and I find the prices super reasonable considering what you get. Decent selection of items (although I have to admit that my dietary restrictions are minimal so I can't speak on that front). It can be a little slow when it's busy but, again, that's to be expected.“

“The ribs were fall off bone tender. The sauce was good, but not the best. The raspberry sour beer was exceptional! The coleslaw was lacking quite a bit and was my least favorite. Pickles were really good. Corn bread was decent, but could be improved with some honey butter. Brisket sandwich was average, but has some small peices of bone in it.“

“If you're tired of overpriced pretentious restaurants in Vancouver, and want some old school comfort food served by experienced attentive staff, you must try this Vancouver landmark. First time I've been here in 50 years and it will not be the last. The sole waitress was also the hostess, cashier, busser, and coffee refiller. The owner cooked, served and cashier. With restaurants dropping like flies in Vancouver due to high cost and labour shortage, it's amazing to see how efficiently this old school diner is run to keep labour cost and menu prices down.“

“I am not a smash burger person but I liked this one. I would definitely eat this burger again but there are things that I didn't like. It took almost 30 minutes to get the burger after we sat to our table and it wasn't crowded. As everyone mentions, the smoke, the smell and the vents are also no-no. I think it's best to order the burger 10-15 minutes before getting there and pick it up to eat somewhere else.“

“I went there to watch the World Cup today, and I had a great experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, and both the beer and the food were excellent. The Beef Ragu was especially memorable, it was so delicious that I'd happily come back just for that. I also really enjoyed the dark beer. As a sports pub, it had a great atmosphere, and watching the game was comfortable with excellent views of the screens. I'll definitely be back!“

I was so upset about this when I went.

They do still have some options for gluten-free dining, but its eggs and bacon sorts of meals. Nothing with pancakes or waffles, which lets be honest, is what you want when you go to ihop.

The food was still good, and the service too. My friends and I were there for quite awhile, and they never got impatient with us or told us to settle up.

All in all it was good...I just miss the gluten-free pancake option.“

The French fries SUCKED, it felt like I got the dregs of the Mckains bag, small and very underwhelming. When I asked the bartender if he wanted any feedback, he said “I didn’t cook it”. I informed him, that I was aware he didn’t cook it. When I asked the bartender’s if he passed my comments onto the kitchen he said “No”. I paid my bill and let him know through the mechanism of tipping, all was just OK. T - to I - insure P - proper S - service Great atmosphere.“

“I visited IKEA Saudi Arabia many times during my stay there n then South Korea. And this evening I was at IKEA Coquitlam Canada. I always enjoy visiting IKEA all the places because of its keeping n offering excellent quality goods - mainly furniture - at reasonable n affordable prices. And today again it was a great experience visiting there at IKEA with my daughter n family members. We enjoyed shopping there n bought many good things. We even bought a Pakistan made twin-size duvet cover with pillow cover though I came here just two weeks back from there, though I bought a Turkish made one because of their high quality fabric and thread count. And as usual we enjoyed dining there as we never found it expensive though IKEA always offer good quality meals and its large dining area is always almost full with people from all around the world. My most favourite dish here at IKEA Coquitlam was Fish with Chips as was in South Korea. While at Jeddah in Saudi Arabia it was Hummus and Omelette while there mostly Saudi women visit just to eat high value food of their choice. And it was another good attraction for dinning people at IKEA Canada to have pleasure of taking free tea n coffee after easy n free membership. MORE POWER TO IKEA -Worldwide ❤️“
