“Sat at the bar with a few of the regulars to watch the first half of the Monday Night Football game which they were kind enough to play while also having a playoff baseball game on one of the other screens. Enjoyed a bottle of Merlot at half price during happy hour which our bartender Taylor was prompt to be sure my glass was never empty, alongside a bottle of sparkling water. No food since I'd just had Thanksgiving lunch, however I did notice one of their staff Adam with a big jar of olives which when I asked for some, they were kind enough to share a handful in a glass to my delight. Super friendly staff and solid service will most definitely have me back for future happy hour visits to catch up with my mates.“

“The most unbelievable venue for our wedding! I couldn’t recommend Mintara enough for having a celebration there; the venue itself is stunning, the views are the perfect backdrop and the service is unmatched. Carissa went above and beyond to help make our day so special and we are so grateful to have had her alongside us for the journey. Our guests have been raving about the food, the beautiful venue and the stunning location. “First of all, the food we ordered was delicious, but that’s not what I want to talk about today!

I was there with a large group of friends, and while carrying a dessert dish, I accidentally bumped into a pillar I didn’t see. The dish fell and the dessert went all over the floor. I was so embarrassed and worried that I had caused a big inconvenience.

Within seconds, a waitress rushed over, told me not to worry, and made me feel completely comfortable. The staff cleaned everything up so quickly and brought us a fresh dessert within minutes.

Unfortunately, I didn’t get the waitress’s name, but I truly hope she gets recognized. The customer service here is next level! ❤“

“Fantastic breakfast spot. So many options it choose from, there is something for everyone's taste. My go-to is definitely the breakfast poutines or Benny's. The restaurant is long and skinny with great light from outside and a patio in summer months. We always go a little before lunch rush and never have problems getting a table.“

“We were staying at the hotel while my hubby had heart surgery and ate there our first night. THE FOOD AT ATMOSPHERE IS AMAZING!! The second night I made an order online but accidentally pushed the Westshore location...(I'm in Saanich) when I was pointed out my mistake the young man up front went to talk to his manager Jenn! “Decent spot for Italian food in the Brentwood/solo district area. We made an online reservation easily for two people. The restaurant is nice and has a good ambiance. We got a pizza to share and a pasta each. I must say the pizza was good and had a nice texture. The bolognese was just okay - not very flavorful or memorable. The restaurant got quite busy around 730pm so it was hard to flag down the server for the bill, but otherwise he was very nice and provided good recommendations.“
