“we were a large group with 2 booths and a table. our server was Alex and he was welcoming each of us with a smile. He was very fast and efficient in his service skills. To handle a large group of over 18 people, he did a tremendous job. The food was good and the atmosphere wonderful. There is underground parking which is so convenient and you can take an elevator or the stairs right upto the restaurant.“

“I've visited this Cactus location multiple times and have tried almost every item on their menu. While Cactus may not be exceptionally extraordinary restaurant, it earns a solid 5-star rating from me due to its remarkable consistency. The food and drinks always meet a reliably high standard, and the service is consistently pleasant. If more restaurants maintained this level of quality, dining out would always be a great experience. The atmosphere is inviting, and the food quality is consistently good. The staff, including waitresses and hostesses, are always kind and patient. Moreover, the ambiance is good for various occasions—whether you're inviting someone on a date, enjoying a dinner with family, or just watching sports and having a few drinks and appetizers with friends.“

“Simple and good, nothing fancy except what a diner from the 60’s would have on the menu. Sitting down at small tables, you have the choice of views, one is the parking lot, and the other is one of the two indoor ice rinks where hockey teams play and practice. The nearby conversations are as interesting as are the people. “Old timers” who love the game and come here to talk sports while enjoying a smash burger made to perfection, or a tray of gooey mac n’ cheese, or even perogies. You gotta love it!You won’t break the bank here, but you will enjoy the food; and maybe a blueberry lemon slushie!“

“I'm not a very social person. I would prefer to stay at home to watch a game.Browns is an amazing place with an amazing atmosphere. (Tj?)was our server and her service was impeccable and she was very punctual. The food was amazing, and the gyozas were so good!!! With all the screens to watch sports it sure made it easy to watch the game!The 2nd time we went to watch hockey,we had reserved a table with the most amazing view of their big screen. The food this te around was more scrumptious then the first time!!!We will definitely be coming back here.“

“We ate brunch here for the first time and it was excellent. We both had the bacon eggs Benny. The bacon was a nice thick cut. The biscuit the Benny was served on was outstanding. The hash browns were well seasoned and crispy. Staff was very friendly and we received our food in a timely manner and it was nice and hot. Definately worth a visit if you love eggs Benny!“

“Earl's Brentwood is our favorite and we go there regularly. The ambience is lovely and staff are friendly. This time however the service was very disappointing and the food was not fresh and tasty. I hope they go back in providing a good service...“

“This place is a hidden Gem only not so hidden. We went for chicken souvlaki on the specials day (Wednesday) got 2 and took 2 extra meals home, 1 pop and 3 specialty martinis and the bill was $60 . The food NEVER disappoints so fresh and delicious!!“

“Our friend group recently hosted a small surprise birthday party at Burnaby Mountain Clubhouse in their boardroom. From the beginning inquiry process, to determining menu options and overall timing, including having to reschedule our date, Ella and her team were beyond helpful and exceptionally flexible and understanding in supporting us while planning our event. Ella and Mandy were very responsive throughout our communications, and Mandy and her staff were so helpful with the details during the morning prep before our event began. Stephanie was attentive to monitor and replenish our buffet foods during the event, as well as exceptionally taking care of each guest table. Very pleased with our experience and highly recommend this venue for whatever event you may need to plan — this is a great team you can trust to support you to help make your vision come to life, with beautiful options for spaces to accommodate different group sizes, and lovely floor to ceiling style windows for amazing natural light. Our privacy was also respected and maintained during our event. Overall, we are incredibly pleased with the Burnaby Mountain Clubhouse team’s service, communications, support and helping us create a beautiful event for our friend, and would happily recommend and book with Ella and Mandy for upcoming events. “I went there with my cousin and his wife for lunch. They came from Toronto. We found that the decoration, lighting and ambiance were sweet and lovely. I drank three pints of beer. We also dined in there. The food was delicious. The price was quite reasonable. Last but not least, the service was friendly and great. For sure I will come back soon.“

“Came here for my birthday and it did not disappoint. I liked the relaxing atmosphere of the interior. Seating is comfortable and even though I was sitting in the middle, I enjoyed glancing out the window for the view of the golf course. I enjoyed my meal—good portion. The servers were very professional, genuine and attentive (and not pretentious). I did not feel pressure by the servers or excess hustle and bustle like at steakhouses and high end restaurants. Good for special dinners with family or friends. Parking outside is sufficient.“

“It has been a while since we last dined at this restaurant. We went for Happy Hour yesterday & had a grand time - service by Celina was excellent. She is courteous, friendly & the food was delicious. Given the nature of our food, Celina was extremely considerate giving us extra paper napkins without us even asking her for it.“

“Came here with my girlfriend for her birthday.Everything was excellent, our waitress recommended us a west coast salmon and a beef sirloin steak. We got it so fast and honestly salmon was something fantastic. At the end of a dinner we got cake, what was very surprising.So in total the server was very professional and friendly, restaurant has huge patio, what is perfect for a summer. “We took my girlfriend here with my family since she never been to a white spot before. We all got the Legendary Burger with fries while my sister got mac and cheese. They also gave us extra fries because they accidentally gave my sister regular instead of yam fries. Staff were extremely friendly and were pleasant to talk to.“

“Read the new reviews not the old ones, this place gets very busy at the pick times, the girls are pretty quick and you don’t wait long once you ordered. Wings are fantastic well done, we ordered 5 different ones and no complaints. The atmosphere is pretty noisy being a sports bar. Hard with the parking but you can park on the street and walk. I definitely go back just for the wings, we did not try other things“
