“Today our family celebrated three birthdays and decided to do it at Browns Socialhouse. It was the best decision. The food was delicious, and the service from Sam and his coworkers was excellent. One of us is allergic to shellfish, and they prepared her food with all the necessary care to avoid cross-contamination. All 14 of us left very satisfied and will definitely be back.“

“We had a great experience having our wedding at Riverway. The patio was perfect for cocktail hour and the main dining area worked very well for the reception. Being on a golf course, you might see golfers behind the ceremony space in summer, but it didn’t feel distracting and didn’t take away from the ceremony. The sunset views are beautiful and shine through the floor-to-ceiling windows, which our guests loved.

The plated dinner was a highlight. The steak was perfectly cooked to medium rare, in spite of the quantity that needed to be prepared, and the chicken with mushroom marsala cream was equally tasty. Portions were satisfying, and desserts like tiramisu and toffee sticky cake were crowd favorites. Dietary restrictions were handled smoothly, and we were well-attended-to during the initial menu tasting. Our signature cocktails, including some custom options, were a big hit with our guests!

Bradley was friendly, responsive, and helpful. The Riverway team helped ensure everything on the day-of went off without a hitch. Their attentiveness and thoroughness let us relax and truly enjoy our day. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a smooth, well-organized wedding with a team that really cares!“

“For our recent staff meeting, we ordered our meals from the Market Crossing location. Mark took our order when I called in. He was very patient. We had a lot meals and he took the time to ensure everything was correct. Our order was ready for the exact time we requested and every meal was correct. Thanks Mark for taking the extra time .“

“I went with friends for a birthday dinner. The food was great, and the restaurant has a classy feel. Our servers, Rachael and Ritish were very warm and genuine. They presented the birthday girl with a delicious lava cake(looked beautiful on the plate)and sang happy birthday 🙂“

“Word got out that my birthday had happened very recently, and the staff were so gracious. They even gathered together, and came out to sing happy birthday to me!, With a piece of strawberry cheesecake that had a candle in it!

“Went here with a group of 7 for happy hour. Service was excellent, waiter was responsive. Happy hour drinks were good. Prices are fair for happy hour food but wish it had more variety. One of the people in my group mentioned the fish tacos were a bit dry and the waiter brought over some sauce for her. Ambiance is very chic. Good place to hang out w/ friends and catch up.“

“It’s a very nice concept and you can pick what you want. Choose from noodles, veggies and meat. Tofu and 9 different sauces to choose from. Only problem is that the flat heating plate they use for everything, if you are vegetarian, they will make same on the same where they made the meat one. They should have kept half of the plate for vegetarian people.“

“Booked for a group of 26 (half kids half adults) for a surprise bday lunch. Staff was absolutely adorable, helped along the way, food was great for the price, they had an amazing three course menu for 35 bucks (!!) And everything else a la carte was also great.

I highly recommend and we will go back there soon.“

“Great food with large portions and friendly staff. The pictures others posted the plates seemed smaller but they are actually quite large. Loved the pita bread, very fresh and soft. The ceasar salad was tasty as was chicken and rice. Potatoes were a little plain but otherwise cooked nicely. It was fairly busy today from people watching the Blue Jay's game.

I came to this restaurant as neighbours spoke highly of it. I lost one neighbor late last year (Diane) and it was her favorite restaurant next to Ambit.

I will be returning here and so will a friend who treated me to dinner and drinks. We both thought it was a wonderful place. Though both of us admit we thought originally it wasn't a restaurant based on its name.“

“There's been a power outage in parts of BC for over 10 hours today (some 200k+ without power). Understandably, when we got to the White Spot, Kensington Square, there was a crowd of folk looking to get a meal. Under these circumstances, the service was as good as could be expected. Emma, our server, was a delight. She kept checking in us even though she had so many tables to manage. Christine, the AGM was brilliant! Calm, welcoming, beautiful warm smile that let us know she had everything under control and we'd be seated as soon as was possible. Jeferson (one f) the GM was dealing with everything else to ensure things went smoothly, and still had time to offer us a free dessert because our meal had been delayed.“

“Our server several times was Sandra.She was GREAT.She was super attentive without being irritating.She was so friendly and good natured.She remembered our go ~ to drinks, brought extra napkins when our meal was messy, without being asked.We were in the process of moving,so we ate there a lot.It got to the point where we looked for her and then said oh good!Our friend is here!
