“Because we are lucky enough to live in the beautiful Cowichan Valley we are at the Leeward Cafe on an almost weekly basis. The food is always scrumptious and the staff welcoming, friendly and courteous. We love the ambience of dining in the clean and cozy cafe but in fair weather we bring our own mugs, which the staff happily fill, and we sit on the quaint benches out back and enjoy the boats and birds. The Leeward Cafe and its sister business True Grain Bakery are delightful!“

“After biking Cowichan Valley trails and trestle bridges we had worked up quite an appetite. Discovering this restaurant was amazing! Wood fire pizza topped with fresh vegetables grown in their garden, the best burger you’ll ever have, and good selection of beverages. Hope to return and try the apple pie! Place looks great and welcoming as always, but with a great new food menu!We had a chai latte (it has always been our favourite go-to for the BEST chai lattes anywhere) and it tasted different. The new owners were super responsive to our feedback which is impressive. Looking forward to going back to try again.“
