“Good Nine in Richmond is hands-down one of the best Korean BBQ experiences we’ve had. From the moment we sat down, the banchan set the tone, each small dish was bursting with flavor, and the standout was their sour kimchi specially prepared for grilling, which you rarely see around here.

The meats were impeccably fresh and tender, from the thinly sliced brisket to the pork belly. Every cut we ordered sizzled beautifully on the grill and delivered on that perfect balance of char and juiciness.

“Decided to take a random drive on Labor Day up to Point Roberts. Started our Point Roberts sightseeing with a delicious lunch at the Reef Tavern. This appears to be the place where locals and tourists alike visit. There is a spectacular outdoor seating area next to the ocean and each table has an umbrella.

We opted to eat inside. I ordered a hamburger with fries for $16. My wife had the fish (cod) & chips with a side bowl of clam chowder($3 additional). Everything was very delicious.

Our waitress was very friendly, frequently checked on us, and offered us places to visit in the afternoon. Lovely service and tavern.

“I ordered the clams with glass noodles, the clams were smelly so I just ate one. Then I had a diarrhea for a whole day on the next day, and this is my first and only meal in a day so I am pretty sure that is a reason.

But I love the small bowl of some spicy items, dumpline with soup was sooo nice as well. Skewers were delicious and cheese osyter were amazing. I will go there again and I honestly hope the owner take more care on the food hygiene...“

The skin of the roasted pork is sooo crispy. The pork is seasoned to perfection. 😋

I ❤️ the honey glazed on their bbq pork. Just the right amount of sweetness. As for 1/2 & 1/2 lean. The little bite of fat added to the moistness of the pork.

“We made a reservation for dinner on Apr 22nd because we went the weekend before and it was 1 1/2 hour wait. The food was really good but small portions. We booked for 5:30pm and left at 8pm and not by choice. We took our 7 year old. His food came within about 20-30 minutes. While we got our miso, edamame and salad one at a time, It took over an hour to get our BBQ meat, and longer to get our bowls of rice. 2 1/2 hours to get our bill (with me stopping someone to ask for the bill). Our son was super excited to cook meat but was getting upset with all the waiting. Quite honestly, the 2 adults with him were too. But I would give it a try again because the food was good“

And the best part was noodle. Its texture was between udon noodle and tapioca noodle. Pleasantly chewy and noodle didn't get soggy quickly. I enjoyed this food til the end. “Ordered from here through UberEats we got the family meal plus we added ribs to the order. If we do this again probably get the family deal without the addition or ribs.

The Brisket was amazing literally falling apart nicely flavored. The ribs were also amazing as well as the pulled pork. We also got the sliders came with 2 of each pulled Pork slider and Brisket slider.

The BBQ sauce which you will definitely want extra of is amazing. Smokey, tangy, sweet. The beans are great as we're the macaroni. The coleslaw was amazing. The potato salad was average.

I can't speak for every restaurant, but I have tried the famous Richmond barbecued pork. The taste is very special. The barbecued pork will be grilled evenly, and the lean barbecued pork will not dry out and turn into meaty residue at the back (this happens in Guangdong barbecue)The roasted pork/roasted pork belly has crispy skin, with distinct layers of meat and fat, one inch each, and a total of about 4 inches long. The chef is very skilled.It’s my first time to buy a double combo. My overall rating is 9/10. The texture of the roasted pork is on par with Ming’s, but the care in preparing the barbecued pork and the special aroma are unique. I will definitely repurchase.“
