“Just found my new favourite coffee place in Walnut Grove. Had a great Spanish latte made with Republica coffee beans and a delicious breakfast panini. So much good food for a reasonable price. Owners are super friendly and accommodating. Space is comfortable with a good amount of seats, free wi-fi, and access to outlets. Will definitely return to try a grilled cheese.“

“I’ve been to ARCHR twice, and I love how creative their drinks are. My husband is not much of a coffee drinker, but he gets super excited to try their fun coffees. This season we tried the pumpkin cheesecake latte, and it was really good! I recommend giving this cafe a try!“

Great selection of either single coffees or blends, from pretty much all the main coffee producing regions in the world. “I recently tried their new rice bowls — the Sweet Beef and Spicy Pork — and they were both excellent. The fresh lettuce, flavorful meat, rice, and their signature mustard-based sauce came together perfectly. It was fresh, hearty, and really well balanced.

It didn’t feel like a quick or simple meal, but something thoughtfully made. I liked it so much I recommended it to my coworkers, and we ended up ordering together — everyone loved it.

If you're looking for a new and satisfying lunch option, I highly recommend these new rice bowls. They also reheat well, so they're great for a quick and tasty dinner at home too.“

“I wanted to try the Hive Donut Hut for the longest time since I have heard about the business. It was only recently when I was helping my mother’s friend in Aldergrove did I have the opportunity to go eat there. When I came there, I ordered the Loaded Fries with the choice of French Onion Burger with the Honey Bun Latte. The loaded fries were made by adding the ingredients of the burger you choose and they added to your fries, minus the bun. This meal was magnificent to enjoy. Every single topping and fixing that were on the fries were delicious. Even the fries on their own were great. I especially like the French onion gravy that came on the side. The latte was pretty good as well, tasting some notes of honey. I also had their Peanut Butter & Jelly Doughnut, which was very good; I could really taste the peanut butter on the icing and the doughnut itself had that nice fried flavour and excellent texture. The staff were very nice and had good knowledge on their own business and the food they served. I like how decorative the business was because it had that good emphasis on their doughnut theme, as opposed to the perfunctory, modern countenance that places like Tim Horton’s has. I highly recommend anyone who loves doughnuts, gourmet fries and even burgers to come by Hive Donut Hut and have the opportunity to enjoy their food. I look forward to coming back.“

I would also consider removing up charge for milk alternatives, They are the same cost as regular milk to purchase. I also found the prices exorbitant and would return more often if they matched Starbucks pricing quality and lack of plant based milk upcharge. Would also consider adding an automatic door for persons with disabilities at at least one entrance. Also would appreciate at least ONE vegan option. Thanks!“

“The Missus and a childhood friend had afternoon tea at the Duchess Tea Salon. Its location was unique for a tea room as it is in a business complex. The room had a shabby chic decor and the ambiance quiet and relaxing. Service was friendly and ready to help. The Missus found the savoury and sweet foods were lighter in taste and not as heavy as at other high teas. A pleasant afternoon.“

I can’t get over how good the service is, They really make you feel like they want you to have a great day.

As for suggestions, the club sandwich is probably the best sandwich you’re going to have this month, I promise you.

“This Starbucks is large and has a drive through. Unfortunately, they have taken the bizarre step of removing all the tables and chairs from the lobby and the patio. A Starbucks without anywhere to sit and enjoy your coffee is a disappointment to me. They have also removed the customer restroom. The staff are good. The coffee is as you’d expect.“

The cafe was very busy when I came on a Tuesday afternoon, yet I still found a table for myself. I only came in for a drink and a snack, however, that was enough to make up my mind. I ordered the Spanish Latte with the Pumpkin Spiced Cream Muffin and the Cappuccino Cream Puff. The latte was potent with that espresso flavour while having that nice balance of earthy and creamy piquancy in the drink. The muffin was fresh and full of flavour, thanks to the pumpkin cream filling and the toppings. The Cappuccino Cream Puff was spectacular; everything about it was tasty from the powdered sugar on top to the light cream-filling. The aesthetic has a modern yet traditional design to its countenance with its spacious studio structure and brick wall to the antiquated decor and antiques. The service was quite good and have no complaints against. I hope the next time I come to Gratia, it will be for a full lunch, so I could try their sandwiches or brunch choices.“
