“I recently tried Chicko Chicken in Langley and was seriously impressed! The fried chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside . I ordered the soy garlic and the yangnyeom flavors, and both were packed with bold, delicious taste.
The portions were generous, and everything was made fresh to order. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was clean with a casual, welcoming vibe.

“We continue on trying different restaurants in Langley, we thought we found a good Korean restaurant by Walnut Grove, but we were wrong. Banchan in Willowby is at another level.

Korean fried chicken is at its finest, so juicy and cooked just right. Oh, and don’t forget the pork belly, so soft, and so flavourful.

I love my tofu seafood stew as well, you can taste the kelp, and other layers of flavours in the broth, its so delicious.

Service was good too.

Overall very good, hence the 5 star rating. We will definitely be back“

We had left the restaurant and walking to our car when she followed us outside and questioned about her service. What she was inquiring about was her tip that she felt she was entitled to! “We recently dined here , our first time and it was an absolute 5-star experience! The chicken katsu was perfectly crispy on the outside, tender and juicy inside, with a golden panko coating that was pure perfection. We ordered the hira pork katsu, kimchi katsu that came sizzling to the table and the cheese katsu. The accompanying tonkatsu sauce had just the right balance of tangy and sweet, elevating every bite. The atmosphere was cozy yet modern, Jenny was attentive who made us feel so welcome. The side dishes, especially the miso soup, pickled veggies, and salad were all fresh and flavorful, rounding out the meal beautifully. Portions were generous, and the presentation was impeccable. Our son would rate it more than 5 stars if it could go any higher. We highly recommend this place for date night then take a stroll through downtown Langley“

(Large size portions) The only thing that was missed was the kimchi which apparently used to be served instead of the pickled radishes. This was my daughters wish as she loves kimchi.“
