“Good coffee and a selection of vegan baked goods, including a few different flavored muffins, cookies, and a scone. Also offer a vegan wrap. I enjoyed a pumpkin apple muffin with my soy latte to go. Updated from previous review on 2025-01-24“

“It's a lovely shop though it can be hard to find seats at times. Very popular, they have a laptop study room almost near the back. There's also outside seating when its not too cold. I stop here every time I'm in North Van.“

“absolutely love this bakery! 🥐 Their croissants are perfectly flaky and buttery, and the cream puffs are just heavenly. Every time I visit, I have to get a coffee too — it’s always rich and delicious. The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff are super friendly. Definitely one of my favorite spots to treat myself! ☕💛“

“Just Gerald Magazine rates it 5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Really glad I finally checked out Vomero. It feels like a little Italian café tucked into a busy corner by Capilano Mall. The coffee is excellent – rich, smooth espresso with that proper Italian flavour, not burnt or bitter. You can tell they take the beans seriously.
The food case is dangerous in the best way: pastries, sandwiches, and light meals that actually look (and taste) fresh, plus gelato for when the sun’s out. It’s an easy spot for everything from a quick latte and croissant to a relaxed light lunch.
The atmosphere is one of the best parts: calm, cozy, and a bit European-feeling, with lots of seating inside and outside. It’s quiet enough to read, work, or have a real conversation. Staff are warm and friendly without being over the top, and there’s plenty of parking since it’s in the plaza.
Overall, Vomero has become one of my favourite coffee stops on the North Shore – proper coffee, good food, and a peaceful vibe.“

“First time here this weekend as we are from across the water and we will be back every time we visit the big city now. From the amazing customer service including how sweet and genuine they were to a regular in front us helping him locate his umbrella to the exceptional warm and friendly service we received as well. Also amazing coffee and treats!“

“I've visited many coffee shops over the years, but this one truly stands out—the coffee here is the best I've ever had.
It's a cozy, family-owned spot with limited indoor seating, but there’s also outdoor seating available, which adds to the charm. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates quality coffee and a welcoming atmosphere.“
“The vibe here is really nice. It's located in a small cozy place, and the store has a raw wood feel to it.
I've never had JJ Bean before, and I came in looking for a quick snack to enjoy by the beach.
The maple pecan cookie was scrumptious.
Soft cookie with hints of smoky maple and the crunch from the pecan in every bite are stunning. I would come here for the cookie alone.
Service was quick and friendly.
Again, I liked the atmosphere because of its natural feeling.
Overall, this location is a really neat coffee place that has potential.“

“Today I was so happy to discover this little Korean-style café inNorth Vancouver . The food was absolutely delicious, and the coffee was even organic! Usually when I come to the NV area, I only visit a few of the well-known cafés, but this time I searched on Google and found this five-star hidden gem — and it truly lived up to the rating.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming, always with a smile. The breakfast and brunch menu was really interesting — even the avocado toast came in several creative variations, and the prices were very reasonable. We ordered the Avocado Egg Sourdough Toast and the Bibimbap Bowl for 10.99, with extra mushrooms. Everything was freshly prepared by the chef, so it arrived warm.
Their special sauce was unique — a little spicy, a little tangy — drizzled over the avocado toast, paired with fresh salad greens that really boosted the appetite. The beef was also seasoned perfectly, very flavorful, and the coffee was rich and aromatic.
Definitely a place I highly recommend!“

“The owner, Senka, is the warmest person you’ll meet, and Brazza is a reflection of that warmth.
I’ve come here for years. Even when I’ve lived in different countries, I always make it a point to visit. The coffee is great, the pastries are wonderful, and the gelato is perfect on a summer day. I would highly recommend visiting.“

“Great little coffee shop. Alot of the food is made up by the owner and you can tell the difference. It's called quality! You pay a little more but well worth it. I love supporting small non franchise shops. Service is always, with a smile!“

“Location, location…
Everything you’d expect from a chain coffee shop — consistent quality, good service, and a comfortable atmosphere.
The location is fantastic, and I appreciate that the team doesn’t take it for granted.
Bonus points for the barista giving latte art a try — good on them for the effort! ☕👍🏼“

“Being a 49th Parallel, you can expect excellent coffees and over-the-top doughnuts. Just don’t expect consistently good service. About half of the time, the baristas at this location seem either too busy or too pretentious to care about their customers. That’s a shame given the quality of the product they are selling and the prices they charge for them.“

“The staff is so disrespectful! We arrived at this place around 12:35pm and the hostess said they would have a 35 min wait list. We said ok, got our names in the wait list and left. After 35 min I came back for a time check and the hostess said more 30 min wait. We have a toddler and 1 hour wait would be too much for the toddler. I asked to talk to the manager but the hostess said there was no manager on duty that day. I insisted since that wouldn't make any sense. After begging to talk to the person in charge, finally someone showed up. The manager was even more disrespectful than the hostess - she kept this ironic smile all the time and said that the hostess removed our names from the list by mistake but nothing could be done, not even offer us the top of the wait list and we had to go to the bottom of the list again. She also said they were doing the best they could - I left without saying a word since keep discussing was just pointless - when I walk out the door I just heard "and please don't come back". Just don't come here.“

“I loved the live music on the patio! It reminds of some live music events at Lonsdale Quay and was so nice to have close to where I live. Local music is rarely so accessible between cost and location. ❤️“

And then the other two got different toast dishes and loved them too! Foot of us got tea and all were so tasty, and the teapots are adorable as well! One of us got a mocha and loved it! Everything was presented beautifully and the space was just amazing to be in! Will 100% come here again!! Highly recommend!“

“Barrio is one of the better places to get your coffee in Vancouver and if you live or are anywhere in North Van, this is a place you definitely want to go. Coffee is reasonably priced and there is seating inside to enjoy your coffee (appropriately safe during Covid restrictions). The cafe also sells beans if you need beans for home. P.s if you’re an Aussie or a Kiwi you’ll love it as Barrio is run by an Aussie, so you can expect good standards.“

“Loveliest little shop that serves delicious pastries, sandwiches, soups, specialty beverages, etc. There are also Italian groceries and tons of beautiful treats. It's so cozy and warm, and currently beautifully decorated for Christmas; a highlight this time of year is the eggnog latte, perfectly foamed and spiced. Every team member I've dealt with over the past few days during my visit here from Ontario has been lovely, kind, and accommodating, and if I lived here, you can be sure I'd be a regular at this warm and inviting neighbourhood spot. Thanks to all for a wonderful experience.“
