“Delicious beef noodle soup with super tender meat and veggies. Would prefer more cilantro and pickled veggie though. The plain noodle soup with smoked duck was ok. Soup itself was mild and comforting, but the duck was on the tough side.Overall, portions were great, noodles were cooked well, service was fast and attentive. Atmosphere is clean, but it gets very loud and difficult to talk across a table.“

“After hearing so much about the salty peppery chicken here, I just had to come by for a taste. Parking is available in the Empire lot outside. Staff are friendly. Looks like a mom and pop. I messed up and accidentally ordered a "large chicken nugget" instead of "chicken nugget combo". As a result, I got 1.5 containers' worth of chicken nuggets. Quite the First World problem. They get to be a bit much after the first 30 pieces, but I managed to down everything. See photo. As others have mentioned, pricing is very reasonable. Guess I'll be back to try their combo, which comes with less meat, but also rice and sides. Recommended.“

“First time trying aroma eatery and I was so impressed. It tasted exactly like the food I've had in Taiwan. I had given up on good Taiwanese food in Vancouver for so long because I've been disappointed so many times but this place really gave me hope again! We got the combo for 2 and it was so worth it. The combo came with two black teas, two dishes of our choice, and a stir fry vegetable dish and a deep fried tofu dish. It only costed 38$. This is one of my best restaurant finds in a while. I HIGHLY recommend it!“

“Always loved their beef noodles! They have the best soup base in all of lower mainland imo! This time I also tried Salt and pepper fried chicken, braised pork belly rice Bento, red chilli wonton noodles and shrimp dumplings. Chicken and pork belly was outstanding! Wonton noodles and dumplings were just OK. Can't wait to be back!“

“I came to Vancouver on a business trip and I came to Deer Alley by myself. I ordered Signature Taiwanese Beef Noodle and fruit tea. There were only a few customers in the store. It was quiet. Quick and nice service here. There were quite a few menu items but I ordered Signature Beef Noodle and a fruit drink to take hotel. The signature beef noodles was quite spicy and made me cough at first. It was funny because other people were coughing in the same way. However, I soon got used to the spiciness and finished eating. The beef was tender and just the right amount. I ordered a lemon drink to take home and had it added with jelly and shredded coconut. The taste was bland because no sweetener was added. Maybe it would be easier to drink if it was sweetened. I would like to try other menu items next time.“

“I just went there at noon and ordered the spicy Maoxianzi noodles. It’s not spicy but the spicy pepper is quite fragrant.Enough portionThe understanding of capillary is different. It is thicker than ordinary capillary. This is not a big problem. It’s just that the noodles don’t look like handmade noodles, they should be noodles pressed by a machine. They are not chewy, not strong, and the soup is mushy.Suddenly there were a lot of people at noon, most of them were rushing for goods. This food court doesn’t have much atmosphere, but the service and portion are better than it is. It’s worth the price, affordable, and the taste is okay. I’ll give it four stars.“

“It was my first time to eat their fried rice, and it was amazing. The grains of rice were clearly defined and the side dishes were plentiful! Later I tried risotto, both fried rice and risotto have their own characteristics. The side dishes are rich and come in various colors, including pumpkin ? bell pepper broccoli ?. I even saw a white piece today. I thought I was mistaken. After taking a bite, I found that it was really a carrot cake! So special!Every time I go there I buy an extra bento, which can be eaten as dinner! So far, I have eaten Ta-xiang beef (the nine-story pagoda is a bit sparse), fat sausage risotto, and the fat sausage is very good. But the risotto tastes rather monotonous, the spicy chicken is also good, and the salt crisp chicken tastes very authentic, including the authentic Taiwanese salt crisp chicken. Fragrant and the chicken is very tender? There are also drinks that can be purchased with meals at an additional price, including black tea, winter melon lemon tea...The price is reasonable and I am very satisfied after eating it. I will definitely repurchase it. It's just that you have to queue up every time you go, so office workers are advised to call and make reservations first.“

“I think the experience has to do with the food u order. I was here another time and it wasn’t as pleasant. Glad I gave it a second chance . I’m going to stick to ordering the same thing when I return. The dishes in the attached photo:Spicy beef noodlesSquid tentacles (ask for a dipping sauce)Taro slush with coconut jellyPassionfruit green teaThe male server gave really good service too. Not sure if it’s because it wasn’t too busy but he was really attentive and didn’t rush us out. We ended up tipping 20% which is considerably high for a casual bubble tea establishment.“

“This chicken… THIS CHICKEN! If I could give it more than a 5 I would. I come to Aberdeen Mall weekly, but rarely do I ever set foot in the Square. That may have to change. We came to try out AI Boiled (disappointing review coming next). I couldn’t believe how big the chicken was. I only tried OG chicken breast… But this place just schools J&G. I’ll be dreaming about it tonight.“

“This is a nice restaurant to go to when you are looking to treat yourself for a night out. It is a small cozy place but can be cramped if you have a large party. They have a wide selection of food in their menu. The combo is a great deal and reasonably priced for the amount of food you get: you can choose your own broth, type of meat, a drink, and udon/rice/vermicelli. You will definitely leave with your stomach full.Service is great from the start. If you go at night time, they can get busy, but the servers are polite and accommodating. They do their job to inform you that everyone in your party must arrive to be seated. Even when they are busy, wait time is reasonable and not too long. They will even let you see the menu and take your order while you wait, so you will sit down with your food ready in front of you. Servers are attentive as well throughout, will make sure you have what you need at all times.10/10 would recommend to at least try once“
“Listen, I really don’t want a restaurant that puts so much effort into its dishes to go unnoticed. This is a sincere establishment where the food is both affordable and delicious. The flavors are very much reminiscent of traditional Taiwanese home cooking.“

“Wugengchangwang - I used to like it the most, but now the taste has completely changed. The one I bought today tastes like water, so disappointingBoiled Lamb - I ordered a little spicy and it was so spicy that I almost breathed fire.Golden Sands Shrimp-not crispy enough, but still deliciousThree cups of small rolls - very delicious, sweet and saltyHas the chef changed?“
“This place is amazing. I’ve been here two times and both times they didn’t disappoint, staff were very attentive and accommodating with me and my mother. There are many things and combinations to choose from on the menu. I ordered the triple iron plate with Grilled Squid, 3 Lamb Skewers, and Deep Fried Fish Filet with a Sunny Side-up Egg and noodles (w/ corn, peas and carrots). The Mushroom Tomato sauce compliments the meat and noodles when drizzled on top. It is so0o0o delicious. I also ordered the Assorted Fried Basket A1 (mix of breaded chicken nuggets, Taiwanese sausage, fish cakes, prawn crackers, and green beans). I recommend getting the Brown Garlic Dipping Sauce - it cost $0.75 extra but totally worth it with the basket. I also ordered a Mango Slush with Boba Pearls + Pudding. I would definitely come back again to try other dishes.“

“This is a Taiwanese restaurant where you can find bubble tea. The workers have high standard work ethics to ensure customers have a safe and clean environment and fresh delicious foods. I know the staff, that's why I know. If you like Taiwanese food and bubble tea, it's a must try.“

“Pearl House provided great Taiwanese food that surpassed expectations. We had their fried pork chop noodle, fried fish cakes, and green onion pancakes, and each exceeded our expectations. The noodles were cooked to perfection, firm yet tender, complemented by a well-balanced soup and generous portions of fresh vegetables. The fish cakes were not puffy. The pancakes were flaky. It was a departure from the usual super salty and fried fare found in many Taiwanese restaurants. The servers were pretty friendly too, and the bubble tea combo was a good deal.“

“It's not just the food that's amazing and reminds me of Taiwan. It's Yang Mama's bubbly personality and extremely generous and caring nature that makes her place a must visit for anyone who misses a taste of Taiwan, or just wants to get a genuine Taiwanese local experience (without the cost of airfare)“
