“One of the most authentic Taiwanese eats I’ve had in Vancouver/Burnaby area. Beef noodle soup was loaded with veggies and tender beef, the sides were just like how my mom used to make.
Fried tofu 5/5, MUST GET! Sauce with this tofu is delicious.
Stir fried cabbage, 5/5 simple flavour
salt and pepper chicken, 5/5 so yum
Deep fried squid tentacles, 3.8/5 personally squid is not my favourite but batter is still crispy. If you love fried squid it’s worth getting to try.
Place is hidden in the corner of crystal mall, glad we found it!

“Wow the food is fantastic. It was very difficult to decide on what to try. I ended up with the “hot & sour dumpling soup” and the “beef slice in Chinese pancake.” Both are a must try.“

“Great value proposition in Taiwanese fried chicken. The crunch was good and it was generously seasoned. The serving size (I got a regular) is absolutely a monster for one person. I recommend sharing with at least two or more people. Despite the scale of fried chicken, I didn’t feel greasy after finishing it.

Cash only. There is an ATM at the lottery convenience at the other end of the mall. You are given a pager that vibrates and rings once your food is ready. Seating can be difficult at peak times since there’s other food spots in the cafeteria.“

“Wish we had this in Washington! It’s one of the best fried chicken cutlets we’ve ever had in Canada. The seasoning is well done, and the tastes delicious. The only downside is the wait time, but at least you know the chicken is fresh.“

“The original flavor is back!

The soup tastes so much better now, just like it did 8–9 years ago. After 2022, the flavor wasn't the same and was quite disappointing. But in 2026, it has finally returned to the rich, delicious taste I remember from 2018.

I'm happy to give it 5 stars this time. Keep up the great work!“

“Had a satisfying meal at Pearl House Restaurant and enjoyed a good mix of dishes. The beef noodle was comforting, with a rich and flavorful broth and tender slices of beef. The bento pork rice set was well-balanced, featuring juicy pork, fresh sides, and a generous portion of rice, making it a filling choice. We also ordered the marinated platter, which offered a nice variety of cold appetizers with well-seasoned flavors and textures. Service was efficient, and the food arrived promptly. “The food here is amazing! The fried rice is perfectly seasoned, the chicken nuggets and crispy and juicy and the garlic black pepper dipping sauce is perfect for the chicken. The place is pretty loud but otherwise it’s a great spot to go out to eat.“

“Visited Bliss Cafe in Old Orchard Shopping Mall in Aug 2026.

Had the Braised Pork Rice Bowl ($17.99). Aside from the dish needing more sauce, it was pretty good. The thick pork belly was pretty tender. Added the Cold Green Tea ($1.5).

The Sliced Beef Stir-Fried Knife-Cut Noodles ($14.99) was really good and had a spicy kick to it

We also ordered the Fried Fish Cakes ($11.95) but they forgot to put on our order so we had to wait for them to make it after we reminded them. Honestly, they weren't worth the wait.“

“We had a lovely dining experience here. The pure vegan dishes we tried were fresh, flavorful, and very enjoyable.

The service was excellent as well. The staff were warm, friendly, and very patient in helping us choose and order our dishes. We really appreciated their welcoming attitude.

“Had a great experience at Gokudo Shabu Shabu. The restaurant was clean, modern, and comfortable. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.

The broth was flavorful and the ingredients were very fresh. The premium beef had beautiful marbling and was tender after just a few seconds in the hot pot. The vegetable platter was generous and everything tasted fresh. The dipping sauces were delicious, and the drinks paired perfectly with the meal.

The quality of the food, presentation, and service really stood out. Everything was well prepared, and the overall experience was enjoyable from start to finish. I would definitely come back and highly recommend Gokudo Shabu Shabu to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic hot pot experience.“

“This is my favourite hotpot place to go to, I crave it almost every single week! My parents have been going here since my oldest sister was born and have been taking me since I was a kid, this place is truly amazing and will forever be my favourite comfort meal spot in vancouver. Staff are very kind and I have never had a bad interaction here. Highly recommend the kimchi hot pot which is my go to!“

The food tastes authentic, the portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable for what you get.

“My husband and I stumbled upon Bubble World Tea House last Saturday after a morning of wandering around Vancouver, and we were so glad we did. The taro milk tea was absolutely delicious, thick and creamy without being overly sweet. The staff were friendly and patient with us since we had never ordered boba before and had no idea what we were doing. We will definitely be stopping in again on our next visit to the city.“

“Best Boba we had in the city. The wonton soup and fruit milkshakes were also very tasty. We ended up coming here multiple times during our vacation. The wonton noodle soup has lots of noodles. They’re also are lots of games to play while you’re waiting, and the manager is very friendly. Highly recommended.“

“DO NOT COME HERE unless you want to support a cheap company. I work for Door Dash and just finished completing a merchant order from there. I carried 10 heavy boxes of spring rolls to their store on L2 Brentwood Mall. $200 worth of food and $0 tips from them. This is a disgrace and I will never take an order from Will H again at this store. If I can go lower than 1 star I would but Google forces me to give 1. Embarrassing to have restaurants like these exist.“

“Boiling Point is always so satisfying, and this place is no exception! I love their beef and Korean bean paste soups. Their lunch deal is great too with the free drinks. This location is also very clean and the staff are great. I recommend checking out their unlimited meat deal when they have it every so often.“

“I haven't been to this Bubble World on Kingsway in over 10 years, and I was incredibly happy to see that they are still open and going strong.

​Going back in, I was seriously impressed because the quality of the food was actually even better than I remembered. In a time when eating out has gotten so expensive, this place remains a real, great value with generous portions. They still have an amazing amount of variety on the menu for both food and drinks.

​It is so rare for a classic spot to not only stick around but actually get better over time. I definitely won't be waiting another decade to come back.“

“Pretty solid Taiwanese hot pot place. Broth tastes fresh, veggies look like they were chopped same day, and the meat slices come out nicely arranged, not frozen bricks. Lots of options for add-ons, so it’s easy to tweak your pot. Staff is chill, service pace felt okay, works for me.“
