“I've been there a few times, heck I even have played music there and always found the place to be super special. Good food, good people and good times! If things go right, I may be back there June 15, 2024 to play again....fingers crossed.“

“This place is great for what it is - a very casual pub. We arrived after 1030pm with a group of around 20 (wedding afterparty). It was a busy night as they had other events going on, but they made the effort to get us space.I cannot say enough nice things about our server - she was the only one taking care of our large group, and she was super quick, accurate, and completely friendly. People kept moving around, ordering drinks for others, getting rounds of shots etc, and this woman had it NAILED. If I'd had been in her position, I would have lost it - we were kind and not belligerent (I think), but the whole situation must have been aggravating trying to keep track of people.Drinks were decent, and damn, so cheap. I got a round of shots for the table and was fully expecting my bar bill to be over $250, but it ended up around $100.Can't speak to the food, but damn, please give the blonde server with glasses a raise.“
“Honestly the 'Bus' is the best thing by a country mile, I cannot say enough kind things about the driver and the experience. Made my son's day.As for the pub it's solid standard pub fare. Nothing outstanding but it is supper comfortable and I like it. Now there is one point, kids are not allowed to play pool, even under adult supervision. This is a change from previous years. My son is 12 y/o and plays pool at home but because there was a 'incident' kids can't play. This cut short our visit and we didn't spend as much as we probably would have had we been allowed to play. Miner's Bay Pub on Mayne did allow us to play and spent hours there and our bill was much higher. I'm a gulf islander and love this place just think they need to rethink that one policy.“
“We dropped in for lunch and had the mussels & frites and chicken wings - they were both delicious. The mussels were super fresh and the fries were some of the best I've had in a while. Fantastic, friendly service as well! Will definitely be back.“
