“We went to the Krunchicken in Mission last night. Everything about the place - the food, the lady taking orders, the environment - were all top notch. We ordered all three kinds of bone-in chicken wings that were available as well as fries, yam fries, and other sides. Everything we ordered was FANTASTIC. Absolutely fantastic. The portions were huge, the prices were fair, and the flavors were out of this world!!! NEW FAVORITE CHICKEN PLACE!“

The sign for the restaurant has a very hard to read font, very thin on a white background so it's easy to miss. I missed it. It is definitely more of a cafe than a restaurant, but boy that naeng myun was unbelievable“

Weekend craving for fried chicken hits, and the reviews looked good, 10 minute drive, so decided to try it out.

In short: SO good.

The pork belly bao was unnnnnnnreal, the soy garlic chicken was super tasty and the spicy chicken was solid.

Small location, seems like a family business (maybe mother and daughter?) who were both very friendly when I picked up the food and the food was ready in 10 minutes like they said.

Definitely coming back ?“

I was in the area for a ride when I saw this restaurant was open, and decided to pop by for some food. The portions were great for the price and everything tasted amazing!

I ordered their signature clam bibimbap and their deep fried squid and fries. I wasn't too sure how I'd like the bibimbap (because honestly clams are overrated), but I really enjoyed the flavours here. It was even more elevated if you wrap it in seaweed with some side dishes. The squid was perfect as well, and the fries were crispy without being overcooked.

If you have a chance to visit and are craving some Korean cuisine, I would definitely stop by here.“

Although I'm not Korean, seeing a tour bus full of Korean tourists enjoying their meals with happy faces speaks volumes about the authenticity and flavour of their soup. “There's no atmosphere, but the taste and service are just as good as a regular restaurant. 😊 I was impressed by the friendly server who took care of everything by himself on a Sunday afternoon. “I have been going to the restaurant for the past 10 years now. The food here feels very nostalgic to me. The service is always great. The manager and the workers always greet with a friendly smile. It really feels like home here.

My favourite menu is definitely the 만두 칼국수 (dumpling noodle soup) or the 순대국 (soondae soup). Sometimes our family gets the pre made soondae soup or gamjatang to make it at home. Their broth is smooth, hearty, nostalgic, and rich in flavour. You can really tell that love has been poured in the the recipe and the flavour hasn't changed since the first time I've been here. They make their noodles and dumplings in house so the texture and the bouncy ness is unmatched.

This is my go to restaurant when I want something familiar, nostalgic, hearty, and good. I think I might have an emotional attachment with the mandu kalguksu because it just feels like a warm hug after a rainy day. Please try it 🥰💝

Oh and their side dish is really good (i love their gamja jorim in particular) so you know this restaurant is legit!!“

“I think a lot of other reviewers have echoed that meat quality is great and I can confirm it is true. I visited with a party of 4 people and we ordered the Gooi-ga Special. We were prepared to order more but it was enough for us.
The BBQ set came with a variety of meat and seafood and the tofu soup was delicious. They do not have a lot of seating so you are at the mercy of luck if you don't reserve a seat or get on the waitlist. I would definitely come back here with friends again! The only reason for the 4 star is the lack of seating and unpredictability of getting in or waiting.“

“Came here with some friends after they recommended we come here. I had never had proper Katsu or have had an experience eating Katsu but let me tell you. This is probably one of my favourite restaurants in Langley now. I ordered the Ebi Katsu and I loved it. Everything is boiling hot and fresh as ever. They provide you with rice and Dashi soup and it’s fabulous. Trying to convince the boyfriend to come with me as I just can’t stop thinking about this.
