The food has great flavor, is prepared beautifully and is run by a very hard working family. I recommend the Rose Pasta and the Pork Ssam! “This is my second time coming to sweet talk, the previous time I had a mini egg donut, this time I had their egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. I must say they were both amazing, and the prices are very affordable! All of their products are homemade. The atmosphere was very bright, cozy and inviting. The bathrooms were very clean and nice smelling( including the hand soap). when I walked in, I was greeted by Kate who not only told me about all the products but we ended up having a full on conversation! It was very pleasant talking with her, Kate brang my food to me plus asked if I wanted anything else. This is the true meaning of customer service; these days it’s hard to find! I asked for no sugar, and she snuck that powder in there without telling me and impacted my food sensitivity test. “Little Beans has been an absolute lifesaver for our family. We’ve been coming here for years and use it both as a drop-in daycare and a play cafe, and honestly, I can’t imagine a better setup for parents who work remotely.

If you have a child who’s a bit hesitant about traditional daycare, and you have the flexibility to work nearby, this place is unbeatable. The space is warm, calm, and genuinely welcoming. The coffee and food are great, and it’s incredibly easy to set up a comfortable remote work station while knowing your child is happy and well cared for just steps away.

What really sets Little Beans apart, though, is the staff. The daycare is run by an amazing group of gentle, caring young women who are clearly passionate about children. They’re fun, patient, and incredibly tuned in, meeting each child exactly where they’re at. They follow modern early childhood education best practices, but in a way that feels natural, warm, and human, not rigid or institutional.

We couldn’t be happier bringing our daughter here, and we genuinely feel lucky to have access to something this special. It’s rare to find a place that supports both kids and parents so thoughtfully. We decided to try Passion8 in Coquitlam after having such a good experience at their Vancouver location.

Coquitlam did not disappoint. While they may not have the exact same menu, everything we tried was great. I wanted to order a croffle, but it wasn't available, so we ended up with two slices of cake: matcha and cookie dough. And honestly, that turned out to be an excellent idea.

The matcha cake was not too sweet and had a dense texture, just the way matcha should be. The cookie dough cake had chewy dough pieces on top, the right level of sweetness, and was perfectly moist. Everything was just so good.

We also ordered a Spanish Latte and a Chai Tea Latte, both were equally enjoyable. Surprisingly, the Chai Latte wasn't bland at all.

We paid $33 for four items, good for two people, including tip.

Service was good, the interior had a rustic vibe, and parking was easy since it’s located in an outdoor complex.

The gal working the counter was super kind - once I realized she was Japanese I asked if I could try ordering in Japanese to get ready for an upcoming trip. They let me, slowly, order and then even encouraged/provided the answer when I was fumbling. Great drip coffee, the blueberry white chocolate scone was firm on the outside and fluffy on the inside. “I have dined in at this cafe several times and the peach fifty ade is always delicious. The brunch and sandwiches are very underrated and I always enjoy spending time here. I ordered delivery on uber for the first time and it was wonderful. They were unfortunately out of stock on an item I ordered and they gave me a call for it but I couldn't receive it since the number for my account was linked to my boyfriends :(

“Just found my new favourite coffee place in Walnut Grove. Had a great Spanish latte made with Republica coffee beans and a delicious breakfast panini. So much good food for a reasonable price. Owners are super friendly and accommodating. Space is comfortable with a good amount of seats, free wi-fi, and access to outlets. Will definitely return to try a grilled cheese.“
