“I attended the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce networking event at Samz Neighbourhood Pub, and the evening felt like stepping into a pocket of warmth and community. The pub was the perfect setting — relaxed, welcoming, and full of friendly faces.

Samz staff were attentive all night, the drinks were great, and the space created the ideal backdrop for conversations that flowed as easily as the atmosphere.

I met so many amazing local business owners, entrepreneurs, and community leaders — each conversation felt like a spark that could grow into something meaningful. Events like this remind me why I love living and doing business in the Tri-Cities.

Thank you to the Chamber team for organizing such a fantastic night, and to Samz for hosting us so beautifully. I’m already looking forward to the next event. 🌿🤝✨“

“Great atmosphere and awesome wings“

“If you’ve never checked out the John B pub you don’t know what you’re missing. It is a staple of the local community. They have great happy hour prices rate selection and absolute massive bar. Never had a bad experience here out of all the times and during the summertime, we have lots of great events.“

“Overall a great place, however they allow smoking on the patio right next to a door and sitting at the bar you get the horrible stench of tobacco every time the door to the patio opens. Really should not allow smoking on the premises.“

“Food at Jolly Mac's is consistently very good. service is always friendly. One issue is that I have been shopping at the Liquor Store for 17 years. They always had tax and deposit included in the prices. Suddenly their prices have been changed to not have tax and deposit. I am not sure why this was done. It was always better to know the price you see is the price you pay. I think this was a poorly thought out decision.“

“My best friend Elena and I, Maritza from California were there tonight for a delicious Hawaiian pizza and cocktails. Our server was Josie and she was amazing . Her recommendations were right on point and we loved everything we had. Kudos to management for running such an awesome restaurant. We like to give special thanks to Josie for making our dining experience a one for the books. She is an extraordinary human being we feel lucky to have met her. “Had an amazing lunch today at Sapperton District Taphouse. I ordered the House Salad with cajun chicken and my daughter had the Kung Pao Noodle Bowl. We both loved our meals! We also tried the Moscow Mule they have on tap and a pint of the Vertical Winter Ale from Tree (drank that too fast to take a pic, so good). We felt very comfortable the whole time. Lots of covid restrictions in place and we especially liked that our utensils came individually packed and sanitized. We found out this place is entirely locally owned and they have a cold beer & wine store inside!! We took home some Rock Creek Cider on our way out. We will definitely be coming back soon.“

“Great place,great food and service but to noisy! Made the mistake of going for dinner on Monday which is football and the extra speakers they have added are deafening! Ate very fast,and got out of there! But if you like noise,it's great!“

“I went Tuesday for the tacos and it was so good! Candy, my server, was very sweet and checked in often but without a hovering feeling. I stayed for a while because I was enjoying the atmosphere so much. More of a pub vibe than any other restaurant in the area.“

“We had our Christmas party here. Chicken dinner with a vegetarian option. The food was fine as was the service. I was surprised that a dingle glass of wine was as expensive as it was as the legion has always been famous for reasonable drink prices. Still, this is a nice location.“

The moment we stepped in, the floor manager greeted, welcomed and sat us handing us off to our friendly server Sean.

The Cowboy Salad was really tasty. Especially the chicken was cooked to perfection and the ingredients were wonderfully fresh, and with the adage of dates, feta and cherry tomatoes they had this dish down.
But.....

There is a reason why I left still feeling hungry.

The portion of that salad was slightly shy of it being truly an Entree Salad. It was larger than a side salad but too small to be considered an Entree Salad. So, keep that in mind if you order a salad as a meal.

The Hollywood Burger was decent with hot fresh meaty fries. The service was on point and their selection of music had me wiggling my hips while wishing I had more of that delicious salad on my plate ;)“

“I had a great experience at the Walnut Grove Pub in Langley. The food was awesome—fresh, flavourful, and served hot. The service was just as good; everyone was friendly, fast, and made me feel really welcome. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, perfect for hanging out with friends or just enjoying a good meal. Overall, everything was excellent. I’ll definitely be coming back!“

Service staff were very good. Food was great as well. Portions sizes were pleasantly bigger than I had expected. Prices aren't the cheapest but portions size made up for that. After ordering, food was quick to be served. Again, the service staff were on top of everything. Really good experience on this occasion.“

“I accidentally ordered from this location thinking that it was the Port Moody location. I called back to let them know before they make it. Unfortunately they had already made it. They took care of the bill and understood that I had made an honest mistake. The manager Micheal was very understanding. It shows how well they take care of their costumers.“

“My experience is pretty good. I was greeted by a pink haired little lady who greeted me with a smile and was so excellent at quick conversation. I wish I got her name, but I’m pretty sure it was Micaela, because I heard a server calling her that. Our server, I believe was Jamie, was exemplary at quickly giving us our food while multitasking all of his other tables. The only thing I could complain about was the prices of the food, but the food was so. Dang. Good. I think overall the staff is what makes the experience and this time; I think the staff made the experience not only great but perfect. Amazing atmosphere as well, definitely come here for a good photo with your friends.“

“We recently visited to celebrate our marriage anniversary. This place has delicious food and very nice ambience. Our server was Heba and she made this experience so amazing and pleasant. The service was quick and we enjoyed our time here.“
