Erin is a delight to work with and the baking that we bring in from Mayflower is a wonderful complement to our own in-house baked goods. Many of our customers say the date squares are ''the best they have ever had'', and the plant-based sausage rolls and Ukee bars are a hit with vegans and non-vegans. Thanks Mayflower for being here for other small businesses!”

Managment sucks tho, apparently I can't ask for extra crispy onions without paying extra even tho I get barely any other veggies, because the owner is too cheap to order more than a small box every few weeks. Honestly frequently don't eat here as often now as the sandwiches aren't as appealing with only a weak dusting of crispy onions. Bad move owner”

“Yesterday we stopped by for a later lunch. Everything was excellent. Our server was exceptional and very well trained. Our food was absolutely delicious and we enjoyed our meal. We ordered the fish and chip special. They were large portions and cooked to perfection. Excellent value for the price.
We have noted that since the new manager/owner? took over this location has really been fantastic. He is excellent and has a great staff.”

“My whisky club and I heard about Macaloney's around 2020 and sampled what was then not considered whisky, but 2 year old spirit. We were all intrigued, and are pleased to have enjoyed the whisky getting better and better each year.

Their core line is outstanding, but their unique casks (Sugar Kelp Infused Peat Project, Ex-Islay Cask, Moscatel Cask) are some of the best whiskies I've tasted.

Our whisky club has ran with the thesis that age statements don't define a good whisky, but the character behind how it is made does. Canadian whisky is full of character, and one of the most exciting whisky regions worldwide right now...And Macaloney's is leading the charge.”

My cousin and I were originally going for happy hour so small bites but the food was so good we ended up sharing the tuna tartare, which had a little kick and so scrumptious, the seafood steamer with clams, mussels, scallops and prawns all so tender and the sauce so delicious we ordered a side of bread to absorb all the sauce, the herb crusted lamb cooked perfectly and though we were so full and hadn't anticipated on eating so much topped the dinner off with the chocolate delice, oh so chocolately rich. I highly recommend the restaurant and reserving first.”

“We had such a great lunch at Kinu. The food was so delicious and the chai was to die for. The space itself is just gorgeous, and I'm definitely going back for cocktails with friends as I'd love to see what it looks like at night. Service was also top notch.”

“Have had sandwiches and baking during the day before and all was wonderful. The porchetta sandwich was ahmazeballs. Finally got in for dinner tonight. Absolutely top shelf experience. The service was attentive, knowledgeable and subtle. I had the ling cod croquette appetizer: texture super smooth and the pickle sauce was perfect. For a main I had the rolled turkey with rhubarb, fiddle heads and turnip. Beautiful plating and the dish was delicious. The rhubarb was very subtle and tender and turkey was juicy and flavourful. Desert was the brûlée tart with rhubarb sorbet. Again delicious. If only we lived closer this would become a frequent special event restaurant. 100 percent, you should try it. If you are heading to the ferry, try and take the time to sample this hidden gem.”
