“Everything was phenomenal. The staff was very kind and helping, assisting with the way to go around the hotpot. We even got to make our own dipping sauce! And the dessert was just cherry on the top. Great food and great prices.

“The whole family was on Vancouver Island, BC, and was heading back to Swartz Bay for a ferry trip to Vancouver, but we decided to stop for lunch at a nearby restaurant to also celebrate a family member’s birthday. We randomly chose Maples Maple Chinese Restaurant, and we were not disappointed, the food was delicious and budget-friendly.
In addition, Moon, the attendant, provided excellent service, from helping us choose our food to serving it and handling the checkout. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Just a small tip: if you can, try to book in advance, as it can get busy at times.“

“There are many Chinese restaurants in town, which I have been to, but this place is honestly in my top two the food here is amazing and the quality is top notch. The staff here are also super friendly and always willing to provide a great service to their guests the owner she is also very nice and welcomes her guess with open arms. If you like Chinese food like I do let this place be one for you to check out you would not be disappointed.“

“Stopped in here after a friend mentioned they’re pretty gluten-free friendly. The beef and broccoli was so flavorful, omg. The staff were quick and really nice—felt super chill ordering here. Oh, and the fried rice was packed perfectly for takeout, stayed warm till I got home.“

“Hands down the best Chinese food in town. We go probably at least once a month. Everything I've tried on the menu is superb. The staff are incredible, the food comes out fast, and they provide generous portions. Big thank you to the team at Jack's for being so consistently amazing!!“

“This place is pretty good and honestly made it in my top three which is awesome gives us other varieties of places to choose from. The food here is amazing good quality, perfect portions and taste great the staff are super friendly and are always around and attentive atmosphere here. It’s pretty cool quiet kind of got a retro look to it, but don’t let the looks deceive you the food is awesome here.“

“Oldie but goodie place that offers simple western food and chinese food. We went here for Chinese food and it didn't fail. We're asian and we're happy that they have the needed condiments on the table. I asked for the chili and she happily provided. We went at 11:45am and all tables were occupied for lunch. Servings were big at a lesser price. Worth the walk from Tillicum Centre.
Posting here the updated menu with prices as the old ones were posted 2 years ago. Note also that my kids had already a few bites on the food in photos.“
