“We had the pleasure of eating at Four Mile Brew Pub on Sep 2nd, 2024. We were visiting Victoria on a Cruise Ship and a local couple picked this establishment for lunch along with another local couple. The food and service were outstanding, and the building is beautiful inside and out. We ate in the pub area and really enjoyed the experience. The manager really came thru, though. When paying a card case dropped to the ground and we didn't notice it. The manager found it, and seeing a California phone number called and got the house sitter who gave the Cruise Ship information, and then let us know. The manager dispatched an employee to return the card case. The house sitter let us know and we were able to talk to the manager and since the employee was on the way, we were able to meet him and retrieve the case. High praise to the staff! Thanks!“

“This was a lovely early lunch with my cousin visiting from Summerland and his daughter and granddaughter came along too and that was a great surprise. Those 3 have Celiac and they love the G.F choices you have. My neice is also Celiac and appreciated the gift certificate I bought for her and her husband for Xmas. Annie B.“

“Arguably the best pub in Victoria. No pretentious atmosphere, just a good inviting atmosphere with a lovely staff and delectable food. My wife and I frequent here for a perfect pub meal. From a simple basket of 10/10 French fries to finger licking a good plate of wings, all the appetizers hit the spot! My favorite is the nachos, finally a pub that doesn't cheap out on the toppings! The mains also do not disappoint! Huge fish & chips with a golden crispy batter. ?“

“We have always enjoyed the food for take out. We decided to treat ourselves to Thanksgiving dinner at the restaurant on Sunday, 14th. The meal was great, loved the pumpkin pie and the staff was so polite. We really enjoy Dickens Public House!“

“Good drinks! Acknowledge that the kitchen closes pretty early and that it gets really busy on karaoke days, meaning you’ll only get to sing once or not even once. But that is fine, if you dont get a turn you can always come back next week.“

“BBE. Best Birthday Ever. Friends took me to 1550's for beer and wings for my birthday. I love chicken wings and the selection here is awesome and delicious. Keith the owner wished me Happy Birthday and promised NOT to have the crew sing to me!Highly recommended by someone who's been enjoying chicken for five and a half decades and beer for slightly less. “In my school years I love the yam fries with chipotle from Felicitas and UClub. Menu selection for the latter venue seems static across the years hence when informed that there’s something new, I dashed to the phone to make a reservation.The experience this Wednesday at lunch in the main dinning room didn’t disappoint. In fact a delighted time. Special menu item chicken breast covered in tarragon sauce with mashed potato, mushrooms, and veggies on the side is one Ill recommend to others if I ever see it available again.I think members are smart to utilize this versatile facility. This place could be for business meetings or discussions, social events, or as own reading lounge. The only tricky aspect about dinning here is staffing.“
