“Hiel has been a weekly escape from reality for me since before the pandemic (remember that? Boy howdy) and for very good reason! It's a perfect place to relax and take a load off, with a comfy vibe and consistently delicious treats and drinks to match - and the icing on the cake? The amazingly warm and friendly customer service from each and every person there. It's always nice to feel genuinely welcomed and this bunch are great at it, little wonder I keep coming back!“

“Absolutely fantastic. Clearly labelled items and there were gluten free options. Had the gluten free blueberry muffin and egg bites (not labeled gluten free but I didn't get sick). They even have a kids play area with toys, books, and a little kitchen.“

“This is my second time coming to sweet talk, the previous time I had a mini egg donut, this time I had their egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. I must say they were both amazing, and the prices are very affordable! All of their products are homemade. The atmosphere was very bright, cozy and inviting. The bathrooms were very clean and nice smelling( including the hand soap). when I walked in, I was greeted by Kate who not only told me about all the products but we ended up having a full on conversation! It was very pleasant talking with her, Kate brang my food to me plus asked if I wanted anything else. This is the true meaning of customer service; these days it’s hard to find! “It's been my second time visiting this place and the food didn't disappoint us. They've really great Korean food for brunch and lunch.

We ordered their famous plate: Pork Galbi Ssam plate, Galbi-Tang, K-Rose Pasta and they were all very yummy.

The cafe is small. Very little decorations.
The staff were all very nice and attentive.
The price is somewhat expensive as compared to other cafes or restaurants.

The parking lot is small and there's a lot of traffic as there's a bottle depot sharing the same parking lot. I wish they have a better parking lot.“

The vibes are immaculate. The barista is kind, cool, outgoing and attentive, way more than I usually expect. I usually order an iced latte (my go-too) and the coffee is great. Local businesses IMHO are the best places to spend your money. Hideout is absolutely worth a visit!“

“I was in New West for a meeting, so after I was hungry. I had a choice, it was either McDonald's or across the street Jim's Cafe. I decided to give Jim's a try,and I'm sure glad I did. “This is by far the best cafe/coffeehouse in Coquitlam, if not the lower mainland. Staff are friendly and accommodating, the food is amazing, fresh, and filling, and the coffee is also fantastic! And prices are also really reasonable! The atmosphere in this place is always friendly, and if you call for take out its ready in a timely manner, I work in the area at times and always come here for lunch if I'm there around that time 10/10 beanery, keep doing what you're doing ❤️“

“Coffee was great. Lots of seating in and outside. They need to hire more help. There was only one girl working. And the gal that came in before me ordered about 10 coffees. The gal making the coffee did very good job just kept on working until it was done. People coming and going it was so busy. Whoever the manager is they really should think of hiring two people per shift. Because you did lose a couple of customers today they walked out after waiting too long. I was there around 11 AM.“

“I really like a cafe that feels family owned, and I really appreciate the care you receive from a business like this. I was greeted so warmly, the woman running the shop made me a bubble waffle with whipped cream and a honey lemon tea, and I enjoyed both immensely. I sat at a little table and peacefully studied for an hour, and I enjoyed the ambiance. It's not a modern, Western interior. It's the same sort of vibe you would get at Happy Day Cafe. Great service and yummy food!

“This is a very cute cafe! There are many options and something for everyone. I liked the cozy feel and the hospitality was great. I got the early bird sandwich which is fine but a bit over priced in my opinion. 13 dollars for a sandwich with egg and bacon is a bit much but still tasty. It wasn’t shockingly amazing but decent. The iced chai was good tasted fine but I didn’t enjoy the lavender London fog. It tasted like water with a hint of lavender, same goes for the lavender latte. The iced caramel macchiato on the other hand was great, sweet but yummy! Worth the visit and a good place for sweets, visit if in the area.“

“We had our sons 4th birthday here and it was a blast! Kids from ages 1-7 and all had a great time. We added a panini platter and coffee to our birthday package and all the food was delicious. Plates, cutlery and water were provided, all the guests were super impressed! Perfect party room space. I wish I had brought more to entertain the kids upstairs as they’re not allowed back in the play space during the party room portion, but otherwise everything was perfect! Wonderful staff as well.“
