“What a hidden gem of Squamish. Stopped in here on a weekend visit to town and it was the perfect spot for a drink and a bite on their patio. We had the smoked salmon flatbread, tempura cauliflower and spinach-artichoke dip which were all as delicious as the locally made apple cider. We even lucked out and got to watch a local singer-songwriter play an acoustic set. I will definitely be making this a must-visit the next time I’m in Squamish!“

“If you're looking for another trendy glitzed out loud millennial rave, this is not the place. Go back to Starbucks & get another tofu latte ... If well prepared good food served up in record time by people who actually care, all in a laid back relaxed atmosphere, then this place will likely become a regular for you. My wife & i both work in the equestrian industry (she's an equine therapist, i transport horses, & we both provide emergency response for large animals), we don't get to spend much time at sit-down dinners, but whenever we get the chance, stopping at the Shady Tree is always a pleasant break. We've been there maybe half a dozen times over the past couple of years, and in all of those times we have yet to come up with a single complaint.“

“A great local, historic place to gather with friends or meet new ones through organized pinball tournaments! This place is chock full of dazzling, bright and colourful pinball games, as well as skee-ball, 2 pool tables, a photo booth and plenty to entertain! Perfect date night out, or with a group of friends on a rainy Eve. Don't miss a chance for oh so much fun! Also, the owner is a multi-faceted business owner, so his relics and charming memorabilia from his other snowboard business decorate the place along with historic Squamish images and maps. Fun fun fun for All!“
