“I was just strolling around the mall and decided to check out some nearby restaurants, I’m so happy I ended up here! The place feels cozy and welcoming, and the staff were super friendly and helpful.

I ordered the tempura, chicken karage seafood udon, and a crazy roll. Everything was honestly perfect. The tempura was super crispy (attempted to buy more) and dipping it in the soy sauce made it even better. The seafood udon had a nice sweet twist to the broth, and I asked them to make it spicy and it turned out absolutely perfect. The crazy roll was fresh and great too, I suggest to add creamcheese if you like creamcheese. I noticed it's a mix of japanese and korean dishes, which is perfect.

Loved everything! Great atmosphere, great service, and delicious dishes. I’ll definitely be coming back when I’m craving sushi or korean food when I'm around the area! Highly recommend!“

“Kun is one of the best sushi places we’ve been to in the lower mainland! It’s a hidden gem that’s tucked away.

. We had the salmon oshi, spicy tuna roll, Sunset roll and spicy chopped scallop roll. Everything was great, including the matcha (green) tea!

. The waitress was friendly, attentive and had great knowledge of the menu.

Atmosphere: it was full when we went on a Friday night. Reservations are recommended for Friday nights and weekends but we were lucky to get a table while walking in.“

“Small cozy Japanese restaurant that serves pretty standard fare. Has all the things you know and love like Cali roll, kappa roll, bentos and sashimi. I liked the interior decor especially the hanging red lanterns and the place was tidy. Quick service and the place was pretty busy when I walked in for lunch. Ordered my usual udon and it was on the border of average/great. My noodles were served in a metal bowl with a carrying handle and I found it both practical and aesthetically pleasing.“

“I did my research around the area ahead and locked this sushi restaurant as it has good options and prices.
After visiting the fisherman wharf and the Cannery, we came here for lunch.
The Chirashi Don was nicely packed with dishes. Chicken teriyaki has great portion. I ordered the Mega Sashimi which was nicely presented and good quality fish. I may got more fish for the same price with two Sashimi bento, but those would be more average fish.

“We when there on a Wednesday at noon and the place had a small lineup. Every table was full. Our food was top quality, very large prawn tempura 🍤. Salmon sashimi also a top quality fish. We have been here a few times before after coming from tsawwassen mills mall.“

“We arrived just before 4 so we were able to order from the lunch menu. E everyone ordered bento box. It was a lot of food so come hungry. They served us toasted rice tea, very nice. With the bento boxes you had a choice of salad or edamame. Service was fast and courteous. Food was delicious. Great location for a lunch or dinner before dropping someone off at the airport.“

“Good food, although a little high priced. The atmosphere is warm but the restaurant seating area is extremely restricted and very small. It was not too busy so it was not a problem. But something to be aware of. They would not be able to accommodate a large group.“

My husband had the double meat chicken teriyaki and some of mine cause it looked so tasty, and it truly was scrumptious ! We started with the Crae crae roll (shared). In my Nigiri lunch, I upgraded the salmon to sockeye, one dollar more, but worth it! The miso soup was perfect for us as we watch our sodium and they only use low sodium soya sauce! The combination of food, service & cost is why they get 5 stars! Any staff we saw were very friendly & said hello & goodbye. Customer service is top notch! Aside note, their green tea is one of the best we've enjoyed, too!“

“Ora Sushi is a cute little spot in the heart of Steveston Village and has all of the usual Japanese fare with a few “wow” items for the adventurous! I had a craving for udon, and the beef yakiudon did not disappoint! They have a respectable sushi selection of rolls, sashimi and nigiri.“

It was more than we could've hoped for from the gracious hosts, Chef Ray and wife Christine, to the gorgeous presentation of each course, the preparations of each item, the texture, the taste and the cosy atmosphere. We savoured each bite, while enjoying the friendly banter between the hosts and a couple of their regulars at the bar seating. “first time here for AYCE lunch, I find the place very clean, and staff friendly. Food is overall very good, I like the sushi, sashimi, BC rolls, salad, chicken teriyaki, futomaki, tempura, and ice cream. The miss are sunomono too sweet lack vinegar, goma salad too salty, and that thirsty feeling from MSG (which I have no idea from which items). Yes I will go back again :)“
