McDonald's in Vancouver

“Came in an order and I was greeted with a warm welcome. I ordered the new McDonald’s item Bacon Hot Honey McCripsy and caramel sundae. The order was quick to make but, when I tried it at work there was no bacon! I must say for forgetting the bacon the caramel sundae at this location was the best I’ve had yet with the perfect mixture of caramel. Overall the new Hot Honey McCripsy is definitely worth a try but I would’ve loved for the bacon.“

“Many noisy people coming in and the service doesn’t do anything about it. Other than that I usually get coffee and ice cream there. Try not to eat more than once in a while there.

Parking: Always good to park, never had problem with finding a space in front of it.

Wheelchair accessibility: No problem with wheelchair“

“Dropped in for a quick bite and had to wait for a decaf coffee to be brewed which is fine. Better to have a true decaf coffee than a diluted one from Tim Horton's. The fries are the best! Deluxe cheeseburger was ok. I was hoping it to be juicy and delicious, instead the bun was not toasted and the patty was dry. Too much sauce made the patty slip out of the bun.

Parking: Shared parking lot in the back has about 12 spots.“

“Nice clean, newer McDonald's. Seems to be focussed more on take out as seating inside is quite limited. Parking is not bad, but busy as it is a shared space with a few garages in the same mall.
Food and service were good, typical McDonald's.“

“This is a great McDonalds. Food always fresh and hot through the drive in. This place cooks food as the orders come in. Not like most other McDonald's that use warming trays. This Mcdonalds would be the best quality in all of Vancouver“

“The service and food are the same as you would get in every good McDonalds restaurant but the atmosphere was hideous, it was a warm sunday but the heater was cranked up high and was a huge disappointment. But loved the ice cream as they actually gave a real good scoop.“

“This is a large Mcdonalds location with a drive through, play area and parking. It's next to the bus stop, near Highway 1 and Hastings so it's really convenient. Typical Mcdonald's fast food. They do a good job of putting the food together better than other Mcdonalds locations“

“This is the best McDonald's in Vancouver. I've been ordering from them for years and have never been disappointed. We just put in an order and our uber eats driver forgot one of the bags but the employees at this McDonald's were so helpful and kind. Whoever was working tonight and helped us gives excellent customer service and deserves a promotion.“

“We wanted to have the Grinch meals but it was already unavailable in a couple of other locations. We needed some snacks before the work Christmas party downtown and figured this location would be the cleaner one. Indeed, it turned out to be cleaner than other locations in downtown and nearby areas. We were glad that we made the right choice and the Grinch meals were still available. We also tried a couple of limited time offer items, such as the green heart 💚 cookies and frozen hot chocolate McFlurry. The McFlurry was quite good, it tasted like Ovaltine. The cookies were just alright. We’re a bit surprised to see how much a meal for two could cost at McDonald’s nowadays but guessed it was like everywhere.“

“At first I thought they skipped my order but the I noticed alot of the orders were only 1 or 2 items, where I had ordered a meal.. so I didn't mind the wait.. plus I think I got a fresh order of fries.. they were still very hot ? ? ? ? ? Seems like they're stepped up their game at this spot.. I remember a few times when I got my food, it didn't even seem like anyone cares for quality control.. made me not even bother even thinking about stopping by any of their restaurants.. not if it was my choice anyway.“

“I visited the McDonald’s in downtown Vancouver, and it was a great experience. The environment was clean and spacious, creating a comfortable atmosphere. The staff were friendly and welcoming, providing excellent service. My order was prepared quickly, and everything was well-organized. Overall, it’s a great spot for a quick bite if you’re in the area. Highly recommended!“

“Food is always delicious. The service is good but can be busy from time to time and last time I went it was super busy. So if you're impatient I wouldn't go on a busy day and wait. Atmosphere isn't super good it can be peaceful but it's usually busy and loud and there's a lot of hobos here too. But besides that the employees seem friendly and the food is good. So it's worth a sacrifice to me and the homeless aren't actually threatening. Although there was a recent incident with one guy dropping his drink and swearing before going inside to the upstairs to eat his food. But besides that nothing is super bad. No crime really so its good place for a quick bite.

Vegetarian options: Not many vegan options. Just mostly meat or fish.

Dietary restrictions: If you don't eat fish or meat I wouldn't suggest this for you.

Parking: Parking is available but it can be full a lot of times. Be careful of that when driving here.

Kid-friendliness: Parents to take their kids here and kids sometimes come by themselves to buy food. But I wouldn't say it's a super friendly environment for kids.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wheelchair accessible entrance.“

“Harmanjeet… thankyou for helping me design my own breakfast sandwich today - my English muffin with tomato, lettuce, cheese, and hasbrown is AMAZING! I love the staff at this location! Kudos to your manager for having the place running like clockwork!“

“This is still my favorite McDonald's! While they’re dealing with some issues related to homelessness outside (which is more of a Vancouver-wide challenge), it doesn’t affect the great experience inside. The play area is fantastic for kids, and the spacious layout makes it comfortable for everyone. The service could be improved with more focus on soft skills training, but I do appreciate that they are giving opportunities to older employees“

“I recently visited this McDonald's and had an amazing experience thanks to Johnny, one of the workers there. He was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure my order was perfect. “While this is an older location that isn't as pristine as it could be, I can't blame the staff for that as customers tend to be very messy. The food today was the most well prepared and fresh that we have encountered in a long time, and the staff was lovely.“

“In a nutshell, the restaurant was really nice. I ordered a big mac, poutine, and coffee with a bag. However, when I got the food, there was no bag. I thought it was worker's mistake so I requested the paper bag again. The worker treated me in a kind way and gave me the bag. It was my first time of visiting Mcdonald's in Vancouver so I was surprised by its service. Moreover, the floor was very clean and there was a recent pop music. The price was enough for my lunch because the food costed overall 12$.“

“Attended a besties party after party here and was blessed to see DJ Grimace spin some tunes! Great event hosted by McDonald's. They had a photo booth, lots of bracelets and merch, and opportunities to take a photo with Grimace and Birdie.“

“Busy, busy, busy location with lots of students. No doubt this is UBC. Used the kiosk to save time which was probably the same wait as ordering at the counter. The food came and I sat down around the corner from the kitchen. Filet of fish and a cheeseburger. Tasted pretty good. French fries were not seasoned. Nice surprise. Usually it's heavily salted. Didn't have vinegar packs and only ketchup dispenser. Floors were mopped at the time but were slippery. Should block off wet areas to let floors dry before letting customers walk on it. Can be a hazard and cause injury accident in the future.“

“Fast service, this girl went beyond right after busy Taylor Swift concert lol. She processed my order faster than going thru drive thru.

Fish filets are so underrated.

Drive thru available, could use a few more kiosks but I order thru app anyways.

“Food is excellent but service is slow at times it could be better. And the atmosphere is fine sure but it's quite noisy at times definitely not a good place for peace and there was a racist incident not long ago involving a customer.

Vegetarian options: There's not many vegan options tbh. None really. There's dishes based with meat or fish.

Dietary restrictions: If you don't eat meat or fish I wouldn't suggest it.

Parking: The parking is fine but it can be busy at times. Although usually there's a free spot available.

Kid-friendliness: It does seem kid friendly enough although there has been some racist incidents.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is good accessibility for wheelchairs. Shouldn't be much of a worry tbh.“
