McDonald's in Vancouver

“Its a awsome small McDonalds here at this location for a busy intersection. Its in a beautiful heritage building, its got window seats , booths , service and food is good ,this location its near public transportation and its in the busiest part of south granville/fairview slopes area, its got the new veggie burger 🍔 here 😀 I had the spicy and non spicy vegetarian burger 🍔. This McDonalds has been here for years since like late 90s“

“Many noisy people coming in and the service doesn’t do anything about it. Other than that I usually get coffee and ice cream there. Try not to eat more than once in a while there.

Parking: Always good to park, never had problem with finding a space in front of it.

“The service and food are the same as you would get in every good McDonalds restaurant but the atmosphere was hideous, it was a warm sunday but the heater was cranked up high and was a huge disappointment. But loved the ice cream as they actually gave a real good scoop.“

“In terms of McDonald's standards for their locations, this was up there as I've been much dirtier and ruder staff but this place clean and the staff were so kind, courtesy and professional! Love that from a fast chain, they don't have be like but when are I have to talk about it!“

“My husband and I go to this location's drive-thru occasionally. This is one of the better locations. By far! The quality of the food is consistent, and we get outstanding service most of the time. There are three people in particular that send out to me for the quality of their service. One of them is a Filipino female that wears glasses and has long reddish hair. Another is a Filipino young man with longish hair, and the final one is a tall Caucasian young man with dark hair. This is one location that has gotten our order wrong only once in the many years that we have been going here.
The restaurant part is fairly small, and during the busy times it can be difficult to find somewhere to sit. They have a nice small patio with a few tables and chairs that is usually fairly busy with some of the regulars, I believe. Whenever they are out of an item, they always suggest an alternative, instead of just putting something random in our bag like some of the other locations do.“

“I don’t usually come to this location since the area isn’t the safest, especially when I had my child with me. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find they had a touchless door opener, which made things easier and more convenient.

The store itself is small, but it was clean when we visited around 8pm. It's a hot summer evening, and we stopped in for a Vanilla cone. We were really thirsty, so I asked if I could also get a cup of water. The lady at the counter kindly added it to my order for free, and another staff member even asked if I wanted ice with it.

Both ladies were very friendly and served with genuine smiles. Their thoughtfulness and kindness really made the visit enjoyable, and I appreciated the excellent service, hence the 5-star review.“

“I come here for beakfest every Sunday and its one of the best locations. The staff are friendly and kind (and I mean kind). I spilled my tea and not only did theu clean it up and checked on my mom (who I spilt tea on), they replaced my tea. The hashbrowns are always hot, which I've been told is the best factor.
If your looking for a location when the food taste actually really good, and the Staff are great, I highly recommend this one“

“We were in the DFW airport traveling to Vancouver (YVR) early in the morning on Thursday, 9/11, and we're looking for a quick breakfast.

Luckily, there was a McDonald's in our terminal near our gate. So, we stopped in. The staff member at the counter took our orders, confirmed our orders and then a staff member called out our order numbers. Our orders were provided to us within 10 to 15 minutes. The tables were being cleaned, and then we sat down. The area was being kept very clean and our orders were accurate. I can't say enough about the airport crew that staffed this particular McDonald's at the time I passed through. They did a great job.“

“This is the best McDonald's in Vancouver. I've been ordering from them for years and have never been disappointed. We just put in an order and our uber eats driver forgot one of the bags but the employees at this McDonald's were so helpful and kind. “This is a large Mcdonalds location with a drive through, play area and parking. It's next to the bus stop, near Highway 1 and Hastings so it's really convenient. Typical Mcdonald's fast food. They do a good job of putting the food together better than other Mcdonalds locations“

“It was my first time visiting this place, and overall it was nice. They have ample parking space, which is very convenient. The food was just okay—not great, not bad—and the order took some time to arrive. The atmosphere is good, though. I would definitely come back.“

“Not the best neighborhood in town, but the staffs possibly the best anywhere I been to. They help kids and older people to their washroom door. And they keep the location as clean as the given location can be. Most location in many expansive fail just that.“

“At first I thought they skipped my order but the I noticed alot of the orders were only 1 or 2 items, where I had ordered a meal.. so I didn't mind the wait.. plus I think I got a fresh order of fries.. they were still very hot ? ? ? ? ? Seems like they're stepped up their game at this spot.. “Ordered a Chicken McCrispy. Opened it at work, there's no chicken patty inside. The only mistake since 2022 or so I've been getting food here. Usually I get food on a Sunday before 8am. The quality is good and service is good. This is actually a good McDonald's, and the people working there are real people so I edited my low star to a rating that matches the PEOPLE that are working there. The staff are good people

“So for tonight’s experience, I never actually entered a McDonald’s store of business tonight however, my friend did go in and acquire a tasty a very tasty medium Coca-Cola with ice. The ratio to ice to cold is quite nice. I feel like I got enough beverage. I don’t feel cheated. Which is usually the problem with an iced beverage. AnyWho, I’m walking along Davey Street right now and it is absolutely hit the spot. It does all the things that a drink is supposed to do, like be cold… fit in my mouth…taste good and be contained in something like a container. This drink did everything that I needed it to do tonight all the things you look forward to in a good late night drink. Would drink again.“

“Stop trying to sell me extra products through the microphone 🎙️.
Put signs up little ones to grab peoples attention on new products or things to sell.
Overall a pretty standard McDonald's experience, I absolutely hate the reservation lineup, it's a drive through. Not an old fashioned diner you pull up, leave lights on to be helped and wait for a home cooked meal to be made.
Reservation lineup means lost business.
If you know people either eat lunch at 11-1, or breakfast at 6-9, have stuff ready. Especially if people are getting off work around 4-6 pm.“

“Attended a besties party after party here and was blessed to see DJ Grimace spin some tunes! Great event hosted by McDonald's. They had a photo booth, lots of bracelets and merch, and opportunities to take a photo with Grimace and Birdie.“

“2025-12-17Bought XL ☕. Hot but seems somewhat watered down. No wait. Served quite quickly. Ample seating at 7:26 am. Remarkable! I remember when I used to work downtown, this location would be jammed packed. They also have the 🐕 in red decoration for the Grin ch promotion for kids. Coffee rating 2/5 for today because watered down. Inflation Inflation Inflation.

Previously at an earlier date. I forget when. Bought XL hot coffee. $2.09 after taxes. Coffee was hot. Robust flavor. 5 / 5 rating. Value for your $! I give thanks to McDonald's and to God!“

“Busy, busy, busy location with lots of students. No doubt this is UBC. Used the kiosk to save time which was probably the same wait as ordering at the counter. The food came and I sat down around the corner from the kitchen. Filet of fish and a cheeseburger. Tasted pretty good. French fries were not seasoned. Nice surprise. Usually it's heavily salted. Didn't have vinegar packs and only ketchup dispenser. Floors were mopped at the time but were slippery. Should block off wet areas to let floors dry before letting customers walk on it. Can be a hazard and cause injury accident in the future.“

“Staff Deserve Credit After the Renovation

This McDonald’s just reopened after major construction, and the staff are handling it like champs. The new layout is cleaner, faster, and much better for pickups, even if the signage feels confusing at first. That’s not on the team — they’ve been patient, helpful, and working overtime to help everyone adjust.

They’ve always been great, and they’re doing their best with a big transition. Give them some credit — they’re running a smooth operation despite the chaos.“

“As expected from McD. Entrance is from the South and West side. Going south turn at light going East and then when able go into the neutral middle lane and when free turn West and entrance is on the left. East Ample Parking. Just a few outside tables crappy location. But there is a grass knoll to dine.“
