“Not a big spot - but loved this combo brewery and distillery! Laid back atmosphere, good brews, and high end cocktails. The staff were so kind and though they have no alcohol free options - the bar tender whipped me up the most amazing impromptu mocktail. We had fun here and will come back as soon as we can!“

“So, this was a take a picture before I ate fail; I even forgot to take a picture of my empty tray. But thankfully, there were some very kind people at Wheelies who allowed me to take a shot of another sandwich before it went out to the customer who ordered it.

I had their special and it was delicious. A masterfully creative play on a Big Mac (my inference - apologies if I got that wrong). It was supremely satisfying and a flavour explosion. So many things on their menu look absolutely outstanding. I can't wait to go back and work my way through it, and also their cocktails menu.

I'm gonna give a special mention to Working Culture who pointed me in the direction of Wheelies. They were on my to patronise list for today as I continued my search for amazing sandwiches, but alas, they were out. I'll pre-order next time.

“2nd time at Emmalines and it did not disappoint. Arguably one of the best meals I’ve had in Victoria. Beats out Victoria’s top restaurants (…I’ll Terrazo, Marilena, Wind Cries Mary… etc). Everything tastes fresh, home cooked, and cooked with love. Shared the steak platter, side salad, and the delicious sticky toffee pudding while listening to live jazz music tonight. Can’t wait till the next time.“

“Really comfortable brewery/distillery to stop in and grab a pint and a bite. The beer selections i had was delicious and refreshing. Although I didn't find the menu of food particularly appealing, your needs are probably different than mine, so have at it. The people working there were friendly and knew about their beers. Definitely stop in. If I find myself there again, I'll be trying the gin and whiskey.“

“I visited this lovely place on my birthday and I wanted some small snack with my beer like peanuts but didn’t have so I ordered the dill pickle thinking it would be served on a plate like a small salad but they put it in a shut glass 🥒and handed it over to me 😭 and every table next to us had a good laugh!! I’m not mad I think it was funny and it made a memory for us so thank you for making us happy mr. pickle-man“

“Was looking for caffeine and soup and ended up with an iced Americano and congee? Never expected to see congee but given my dental procedure just prior, I decided to give it a try. Congee was amazing! Not what you’d expect from a Chinese congee and in the best way. Americano was super smooth without the over-roasted bitterness of some better known coffee brands. I was on the island for a visit and will be back at my next opportunity.“

No vegan options in the MAIN menu. Only 2 vegan items in the HANDHELDS, SOUPS AND SALADS menu (both were salads). Overall a great environment.“

“Amazing hidden gem for donair. They are huge which is great for leftovers. I’ve been missing donair from Nova Scotia and the flavour is awesome. It really hit the nostalgic spot! “We went around 2:15 and got a table right away with the knowledge that it was reserved for 530. That was absolutely fine.
Our waitress GRACE was so amazing and friendly and there when we needed her. I enjoyed having such a happy, friendly server. Also there before we needed to be refreshed.
