“Everything was great. Our server was exceptional. The only problem I have is every time I go to cactus club I order coffee. It is always luke warm and never fresh when I order my coffee, I want it hot and I want it fresh and I want my refills the same way.“

“Came here on Tuesday night for the first time. The vibe was warm and comfortable. We were seated by the fireplace which felt extra cozy, and not too loud considering it was right beside the bar.

I ordered the roasted turkey clubhouse (added cheese) and it was really good! There seemed to be a layer of marinated (lemony?) kale on the sandwich, and I really enjoyed it but there was no mention of it in the description on the menu. The fries were pretty good but the portion felt small. Fine for me, but my husband was still hungry after his meal. He ordered the Malibu Club and enjoyed the flavors, just wished there was more to it. While the burger was small compared to my sandwich, the overall value was still decent for the quality and ingredients.

Service was OK. The staff at the front were pleasant, and so was our server, but aside from refilling our water we did not see her once in between ordering our meals and finishing/requesting the bill. Meaning, she did not stop by to ask how our meal was or if we needed anything after the kitchen staff delivered our meals.“

“I had the Bangkok bowl with sautéed shrimp and it was fantastic. Happy hour prices from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. We hit this at the perfect time. Super friendly and beautiful staff.“

What an experience! The quality of the food was amazing, along with the ambiance, however, the only reason I am writing this review is because of the incredible service from our server, Jess!!!

In all my life, Jess has easily provided the #1 best service of any restaurant I’ve ever been to.

“We came for a good bye dinner with our team. Our company closed and Glowbal was selected by numerous recommendations from our other colleagues. It was an amazing atmosphere and definitely super-tasty food. When the time for dessert came, our beautiful waitresses came with our ordered sweet cake with “Happy Unemployment “ writing on the plate. It was a bittersweet moment for all of us but our mood instantly switched to laughter and we almost forgot the cause of our gathering“

“The hostesses at the front are vibrant and charming. They offer a complimentary glass of champagne to sip while you’re waiting. If you don’t imbibe, they will accommodate your soft drink request. We were seated at a table on the patio which is very close to the street. So if you choose to sit on the patio, There will be city sounds which, apart from the occasional siren, quickly dissolves into the artful landscaping. Raven, our server, was friendly and cheerful, in addition to being appropriately attentive. We started with the mini steak French dips. Expertly seasoned and grilled, new york steak strips over a button of gruyere cheese atop a tiny slice of sourdough garlic bread with a side of au jus. These were quite more-ish. I recommend them. My husband enjoyed the Mediterranean salad and I liked my seared ahi tuna salad very much. The tuna is sliced thicker than carpaccio but thinner than sushi and gently seared. The plating was elegant and the salad finely chopped with bits of mango and shaved avocado on the top.. I tasted a bit of mint leaf and the light dressing was truly perfect. The staff pay attention to the guests and, when your server is busy, they make themselves available for your needs. It appears the staff members enjoy each other’s company as well as their jobs. I observed real teamwork throughout. We had the apple pie for dessert. On its own it is delicious with a caramel apple filling and it’s flaky , buttery and crunchy crus. It can easily be shared by three people and would have been enough. But do’gild the lily’ by adding the Canadian maple ice cream. We felt comfortable and satisfied. We were pleased with every bite and the Joey Burrard experience from start to finish. We will definitely go back and try some other offerings. Go and have fun. And talk to the very friendly staff who are so willing to engage.“

I wish I lived in Vancouver because I would frequent Nightingale weekly. Service was prompt and they were consistently keeping the drinks flowing.“

“Over many years of meals and events, I recently discovered Hawksworth's Cocktail Hour in its cozy lounge. Every seat in the room is a comfy one, though I favour saddling up to the bar. You will always find a cocktail or wine to your liking. We usually order near everything from the food menu. Sometimes wagyu, currently prosciutto, always oysters. Main reason I keep coming back is the people. Service in this space never disappoints. I have favourites, of course. You know who you are...“

Just wish that there’s a washroom right inside the restaurant and not out in the park. Wouldn’t mind heading out of the diner to use the washroom when the weather’s warm and dry, not so much when it’s cold and wet.“

“Amazing food and attentive service. The King Salmon with the gnocchi was incredible subtle and delicious. We also really loved the pumpkin mille-feuille twist. Those were Bib Gourmand worsy. We felt like the Cyprus bawl was a bit lower on the standards so we'll ll probably not reorder that one but for sure we are coming back here. Quiet and elegant atmosphere yet not pretentious.“

“My partner and I had dinner on Valentine's Day. The service was impeccable, and the food was amazing. Kudos to their awesome bartender, Zander, who made a fabulous 'Old Fashioned'. Very friendly and polite. Always had a smile on his face.

And kudos to our amazing server, Sophie. She was very attentive and friendly. Always made sure we were looked after.

“Food and service at this location never ceases to surprise me. I had the privilege to visit it a couple times and every single one was a renewed and nurturing experience.

We were there with family to celebrate and we felt really welcome. It was easy to request a same day resevation. We put on notes requesting for seating arrangements and noting what we were celebrating. Both the hostess and our assigned server (shout out to Azra!) made sure to attend our requests and made the special person celebrated.

Our food was timely served, plentiful and DELICIOUS. The steaks were delectable. The server made sure to ask us questions where unsure. She went above and beyond to attend special requests and made sure that we felt always well looked after.

If you have the schedule, go around sunset and get to enjoy the amazing english bay views. Overall super great experience. Kudos to Cactus Club.“

“We went to this location after the Canucks game on a Saturday night. My reservation was for the dining room, but we were put into the lounge. It was quite noisy because the music volume was too loud. We were having a hard time hearing our server when they were taking our order, and also having difficulty communicating amongst ourselves. We let the manager know, and they were kind enough to turn the volume down, but also moved us to the dining room. I really appreciated that they took the time and made the effort to ensure that we would have a pleasant experience. I ordered the Dine Out Vancouver menu and it was great, our server offered to let me have two appetizers and an entrée instead of having dessert. Thank you again for a great experience and for accommodating our move.“
