“My wife and I had breakfast recently. Absolutely terrific! Had 2 poached eggs,sausages, fried potatoes, toast and endless coffee. The fried potatoes were the best - not the little frozen McCains fried jobbies. My previous regular breakfast haunt, under new management, made the classic new owners mistake of changing the offering - namely the fried potatoes - game changer.“

“We went for brunch & it was very busy. Although we had to wait for about 15 minutes for a table, the staff was all very friendly. Our server was excellent and the food was fantastic (Bevarian Brft & Sampler). Would definitely return!“

“This was my first time here and both of us were very impressed with the quality, quantity and price of the food!

Lots of great choices on the menu. We went with the Fish tacos, which were fantastic. Crispy battered fish, fresh pico de gallo. Best fish tacos I have had in ages.

We also shared the Buffalo Chicken Poutine and as good as the tacos were this was the star of the show! Crispy, generous amount of chicken, gravy was fantastic and the extra ranch dressing helped balance the hot sauce perfectly.

The service was also excellent! Jasmine helped us with ordering and was very patient as we took awhile to decide. Very friendly and prompt service. Food came quickly.

We will definitely be eating here again. Great for take home as well! The ambiance of the restaurant was fun too. Lots to look at while you are eating .“

“Our group of 28 had a wonderful time at Great Blue Heron Grill. The food was delicious, served promptly despite our size. Our waiter was exceptionally patient and accommodating. Plus, the views of the pond added to the overall experience. Highly recommend for any occasion!“

“Deceitful business. Really frustrating. Ordered take out on 10/08 at 6:00 that was supposed to be ready at 6:40 - went to get it at 6:45 and the restaurant said they never got it even though the charge was already pending on my account. A family member went in to get their dinner and pick up mine - turns out they didn’t have their system set up to alert them to online orders. The family member placed their order and replaced ours and paid for both orders (since they said they cancelled mine) waited an entire hour for the orders to be done, got back to our hotel and food was missing. Called them and they didn’t answer. Went back to the restaurant asking for a refund for the missing food and 25% tip back. The woman working the hostess stand was completely rude. Claimed they couldn’t refund just part of the order and that they never charged my card for my original order. She tried to give us cheesecake rather than the food we originally ordered and never got. After arguing a he said they would just refund it. After we already got back to the hotel at 8:00pm I got a text saying my online (original) order was canceled and they did *NOT* charge my card… family member who paid for the second round of orders and I both checked bank statements the following Tuesday 10/11 and they did not have any refund and the nearly $90 charge they supposedly canceled went through and was taken from my account. I called that afternoon asking for a manager (said they wouldn’t be in till Friday) so I left a message about what happened and needing a refund for the original online order… never got a refund or a call back. Stole $90 from me and even more from my family member who didn’t get all their food or a refund. Very deceitful and unprofessional.“

“My dad and I went there for lunch. The House Special Chow Mein was quite large for $16.99 and was flavourful and had shredded bbq pork, shrimp, and egg, etc. My dad is Cantonese and had been craving Chow Mein and this hit the spot for him. We also got the Ginger Soup Beef Vermicelli. I thought the bowl was small when it came out, however it was actually deeper than I was expecting and loads of noodles. The beef was velveted beef and it had some carrot, broccoli, and zucchini with it. The broth itself was light and subtle, tasting of fresh ginger and a hint of sesame oil. Due to how clear and subtle the broth is, I don’t feel guilty drinking it, like I would if it were heavily salty Pho broth (the soup at Ken’s is nothing like Pho, so don’t order it if that’s what you’re hoping to get). I almost finished all of the broth and had to take the leftovers home. When getting it to go, I was kindly given more broth to take home separately. A super nice bonus since I loved the lightness of the broth, and it was packed separately from the noodles so they wouldn’t get soggy. The place was tidy and clean and service was great. The music and volume of it made it feel quite trendy. I’m surprised it wasn’t busier as we went during lunch. I’ll definitely be back to try other items on the menu. I was told the soup can also be adjusted to not include sesame oil as well, so if told in advance, I believe they could accommodate allergies/food sensitivities since everything is made fresh.“

“Celebrated our 11th anniversary with dinner and drinks at The Vault. It was a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly, so courteous and attentive. We had the watermelon feta salad, black cod and mushroom pasta. The watermelon feta was really good. The mushrooms in the two mains were a little overpowering with their char but beyond that the entrees were so delicious. The drinks were on point and just plain heaven in glass. We will absolutely be coming back again.“

“If you're looking for the standard cozy American diner experience I'd highly recommend this place. I got the beer battered prawns and fries and received a reasonably large portion and some absolutely delicious although incredibly greasy food. The service was slightly slow despite the place being near empty and the food was expensive but overall it was a good experience“

“We come on a Monday night when appies were half off. I counted three other customers there. They were training a new server and it was hard to hear her over the music; which wasn’t too loud.
It took a while for our food to come but it was good. We had the beehive pizza which is basically honey on pepperoni. We ordered it for the novelty of it and it was good but nothing special. The wings were perfectly cooked; crisp and juicy. There wasn’t enough sauce in my opinion but I enjoyed dipping it in the crispy Brussels sprout sauce. It was the BEST part of the meal and I’m obsessed with it. I’ll come back for that alone.
We also ordered the truffle tator tots and it was also really enjoyable.
We also had the caeser and Lucky lager. Both really good. An overall delicious experience“

“Very clean IHOP, but sad the Swedish Lingonberry crepes are gone. Food otherwise was standard for this type of establishment, though the hashbrowns weren't as good as they used to be (batch cooked without enough oil to get to the potatoes in the middle)“

“We went here 2 weeks ago and it was great! The gluten free chicken burger and fries are top tier and our waitress was very helpful accommodating our needs. My girlfriend’s chicken pasta came out without chicken and they were very quick to make a whole new pasta for her free or charge (they even threw in an extra chicken breast cooked to perfection) and also since they felt bad they gave us free dessert! It was pretty awesome! Even if they made a mistake, they were quick to make things better.“

As mentioned above our waiter disappeared for a long time when we wanted to pay and daughter was getting antsy then we noticed we could pay online which we did. Husband had the Steak Dip Sandwich which looked good. Our view out a large window was right at the water and we watched the sunset. “We went here since it was attached to our hotel. We ordered takeout, and I will say the staff was very friendly and attentive. When we got our food it was very good for pub food and much better than most pubs . We will be going back for supper on our return trip.“
