“Shaemir was our sever and she did a FANTASTIC job. I had the caterpillar roll and my partner had the lion king roll. Both were great choices! Personally, I recommend the lion king roll as well as the edamame appetizer. The wait time was super quick (as long as you don’t mind eating outside - they do have heaters) and the atmosphere was also great! 10/10 would recommend.“

“I never review restaurants but if you are reading this, I’m really hungry right now….and just wanted to share to my food people, that Kyoto Palace Japanese Steakhouse is the best Japanese restaurant I still have ever been to and my favorite restaurant growing up as a kid… #1 miso soup and salad are just never the same anywhere else..the same chef Jose that would make roosters with the scrambled eggs still works there over 20 years later..If I had yelp or seriously reviewed restaurants I would 10/10 them for never changing a single thing about this place. Just sharing for my food friends keep scrolling if you don’t care about this post 🙂“

“Went with my partner for lunch and got the lunch special bento and spicy chicken bowl. For the amount (around $18-20 each), you get SO much food that is cooked extremely well! We had a wonderful lunch experience on a Saturday afternoon of all times! Absolutely a hidden gem!“

“The sushi is so fresh it melts in your mouth. It’s so good. It’s a quaint almost hole in the wall type place but it’s clean and the people are friendly and attentive. “First time after a referral and it did not disappoint! The food was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was clean and modern. The staff were so nice and came by multiple times to check on us. “This sushi spot is down the street from my house and it's quickly becoming a favorite of mine. Granted I usually come in for lunch and order a bento box. I love the spicy chicken teriyaki, veggie tempura and California rolls. Their Chile. Matsu was good but I prefer the teriyaki. Their miso soup is tasty.

Restaurant is typical sushi restaurant size. They may accommodate larger parties with notice. The art on the wall is movies, action figures, and things of that nature

I haven't tried too much outside of that so I will have to order more when I go next time. I want to order specialty rolls. Will update the review after the fact.“

“This is a great sushi place for your normal daily lunch/dinner, not your fine dine or traditional sushi experience, and it’s perfectly good. I tried the 49ers roll and dinner combo, again food is nothing to write home about but it’s decent. Price is fair, server was attentive but not intrusive (ie checking in too frequently and breaking up convo). I would rate this 3.5 stars if I can but 4 is not far off“

“Growing up in Saratoga, there weren’t many casual asian dining places nearby and Sushi Heaven has always been a staple restaurant for my family for weekend night out dinners.
Sushi Heaven is not traditional Japanese, and has a variety of rolls that are fun to choose from and also has great bento boxes.

They also reasonably price Toro and if you’re lucky, you get decent cuts.

They take reservations and are busy during dinner times so call ahead or there is a waiting list.

“A random, last minute find on a Friday night with no wait and can accommodate a party of two with an infant in a carseat.
Quaint and no frills restaurant with omakase. Our omakase sashimi order was about 107 dollars, a bit pricey and presentation was not very impressive but every bite was so fresh! Their miso soup was quite delightful, better than most miso soup I’ve had.

Kid-friendliness: We brought our infant in a carseat in, placed the carseat on a chair and tucked it between the wall and the table. I see other families with small kids dining comfortably there too.“

“I recently visited and was pleasantly surprised by the playful twist on Japanese cuisine. From the moment we walked in, the quirky decor caught my attention, with comic and superhero-themed decorations adding a unique charm to the atmosphere.

We started off with a few appetizers:
The shrimp tempura was perfectly crispy and light, served with a classic dipping sauce.
The fried Calamari was thick-cut, golden brown, and satisfying unexpectedly good for a sushi spot!

Next up was one of their creative sushi specialties. We tried crunch toll with crunchy tempura flakes. It had an intense umami flavor and a rich texture definitely something for fans of bold, fusion-style rolls. They also have an extensive roll menu with a big variety for everyone.

Really highly recommend this location of Pokeworks - you can order&pay online and the manager of this location is meticulous about safety and YUMMY food. They even have the Disneyland DoleWhip for dessert 🤤.“
