“I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. I am a business owner a few doors down and I wandered in with a friend after work one night about a month ago. We were met with such incredible warmth from the staff and the environment itself, even without a reservation. We sat at the bar and were greeted by Josh, only to find out later that he is the owner. He made excellent recommendations on everything from our drinks to dessert. The bar didn’t feel isolated from the rest of the restaurant and guests, but rather was lively hub frequented by kitchen and serving staff and warmed by a smoldering wood fire. The coziest. We swooned for the poke appetizer, complete with house-made toasted, but not crisp, blue corn tortillas. The pork shoulder tacos—also to die for. I have to say though, that the star on the sidelines was the beans. I honestly didn’t know I could feel this way about beans…but I digress. Josh bounced around from table to table all night, never letting a single ball drop, making every guest feel like *his* guest. A pot de crème sealed the evening in perfect bliss. I’m back a month later with the same friend, eating different and somehow even more incredible entrees: ribeye, halibut and a rhubarb crisp for dessert. I scarcely ever take the time to write a review as I prefer to vote with my $ and my feet, but I simply couldn’t eat here again without taking the time to sing it’s praises. Eat here.“

“My family and I recently moved into the neighborhood and stumbled across Redwood Cafe, and it has quickly become one of our favorite local spots. Although they’re only open from 6am–3pm, this is absolutely a place you can’t skip out on.

They offer a great selection of breakfast and lunch options, plus a Greek menu that gives you even more to try. One of our favorite things is that they rotate different soups almost daily—there’s always something new and comforting. The owner, Leo, and his entire staff are truly wonderful and make you feel welcome the moment you walk in.

The cafe itself is small, cozy, and full of locals who clearly love being there—you can feel the happy, community vibe while dining. Redwood Cafe consistently goes above and beyond with customer service. I often bring my mother with me, and they genuinely treat people like family.

We love this place so much that we try to stop by at least once a week. Thank you for the delicious paninis, amazing soups, and the great selection of desserts. We will absolutely continue supporting local businesses like Redwood Cafe!“

“Randomly wandered in here, and was very pleased with the food options.
Its is burgers, fries, etc. so don't expect a lot of non-meat things on the menu. Prices are also higher than your chain places, and also because this is in SanFran.
Ordering was pretty fast and efficient, and the staff working there both times I stopped in were on point. (You can order via kiosk or at the counter).
Food tasted very fresh, the fountain drink options were local flavors of pop, which I really liked.
Seating was fairly plentiful, and the security & regular staff kept the location pretty clean & tidy.
Definetly a restaurant I'd dine at regularly, just to try all the various items on the menu.“

My husband ordered their special hot stone pot with chicken mango. 5 star presentation and so yummy. I had the Hemingway Benny. Again, presentation and taste were 5 star! “We visited the restaurant, my friend, his 11 year old son, and me. We didn't have a reservation, the staff was kind and they invited us to reserve a table and while waiting they invited us to have a few drinks at their bar. We ordered coffee and a juice for the kid, and it was delicious, we waited at the outside patio, that has a wonderful view of Marin County. Once our table was ready, a staff member came to take us to our table and was kind enough to take our cups. The food was great, the staff was always kind, warming, and professional. Definitely I was felt welcomed. My friend and his son had a wonderful time. Plus the place is amazing. This place is worth every penny.“

“I had such a wonderful time dining at SF Wilder in California. The food was genuinely delicious. I ordered the rib steak, and they cooked it perfectly well-done, just the way I like it. The side vegetables that came with it were fresh, flavorful, and paired beautifully with the steak. I also loved that they serve fresh oysters, which made the meal feel even more special. Their wine selection may be modest, but it's definitely well-curated and fairly priced. I got a bottle of Argentinian wine, and I really appreciated that their markup felt very reasonable. The service was great. Everyone was so friendly and genuinely welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. And personally, I absolutely loved their outdoor dining area. It has such a casual, relaxed vibe, which is exactly what I enjoy. As for the noise level, it's right on busy Fillmore Street, so it can get pretty lively. We visited the day before Thanksgiving, so it wasn't crowded, and we were able to enjoy the outdoor space almost entirely to ourselves. On regular days, the area has several nearby restaurants, giving it an energetic, vibrant atmosphere that adds to the overall experience. I definitely recommend this place. It's a lovely spot with great food, warm service, and a cozy atmosphere.“

“Best food and drinks all weekend long. Marco was just an amazing individual. He made our anniversary even more special. My husband is a huge mezcal fan and asked if there was a drink the bartender could make and sure enough they made the most spectacular drink! We loved the food and drinks so much we stopped in after our long hike from Angel Island. I ordered the same mezcal drink as my husband did the night before. G was just an amazing bartender and helped us out with all the different types of mezcal and what characteristics they bring to the table. Marco even recognized us and said you guys are back. I have been telling everyone about your amazing restaurant and not just the quality of food but just the atmosphere and experience we had with the staff. They are all welcoming and make you feel like family.“

“Visited on a random Wednesday morning for breakfast and took a seat on one of the two seat tables against the wall. A few other patrons sat along the counter eating and drinking coffee. The place was relaxed, dim, and lovely. The server was perfectly nice and I already had my order decided so in a flash I had a perfect iced tea and my ticket was in a ticket for a corned beef hash combo.

The plate was delicious with big shreds of corned beef, properly cooked potatoes and onions, and the entire eggs Benedict alongside. On the Benedict the yolk was runny and every part of the dish was hot, seasoned, and hearty.

The price was totally fair for what I got, walking out paying something like 25 bucks total and I'd gladly return. Go here to fill up on classics a cut above.“

“The pizza, the calamari, the mozzarella sticks, the margaritas, what an exceptional find. The service was top notch and the pizza so good i ate the crusts, it’s that type, i never eat the crusts. We left feeling well taken care of. Sean, the manager, was making us feel welcome in every possible way. I’ve heard the clam chowder and salads are amazing as well, we will be back!! Prime rib?!
