“Im not a salad guy, but my wife loves salad.

Picked up a salad today from Green and Grains and boy was I surprised at the portion! 1 salad was enough for my wife and myself; with leftovers for later!

Got to speak to Ian for a little bit and was surprised that all the ingredient are organic and locally sourced. Including the pickled onions being made in house!

For a guy who doesn’t eat salads, I would say the Asian chicken was the best salad I’ve ever had!

Going to try their sandwiches on the next visit!

“I had heard great things about Fava and their ex Chez Panisse chefs. I got to try it for the first time. It was even better than I thought it would be. I got the lamb sandwich (with cabbage, yogurt sauce, and fresh herbs like Persian sabzi, in a lavash like wrap that they make themselves.) I also got some lentil and kale soup with yogurt. So yummy. It took me back home to Iran. So good!“

“We love coming here and are never disappointed! The food is a daily set selection of healthy, filling, and delicious grains, veggies, etc, and you can pick 3 of the options or get all of them. We especially love the soup that comes with the meal as well! The “generous” size is usually more than one person can finish. The service is always very prompt and welcoming.“

The good:

Bettenjan bi tahina: So flavorful! Loved all the sauces, and the dish came together beautifully — healthy food with great presentation.

The not-so-good:

Portion sizes were quite small, so we left feeling a bit unsatisfied.

The sumac spritz tasted mostly like sugar water with barely any other flavor.

Overall, a nice place if you’re looking for healthy options, though it would be great to see some chicken kebabs for non-vegetarians and falafel choices for vegetarians.“

“I was looking for a salad somewhere other than Mixt and was directed here by a friend. Their salads are so good, full, fresh, and they're so flavorful you don't need much dressing at all. “I’ve been coming here for 7+ years and the food has always been high quality, delicious, and well portioned. Can’t go wrong with their salads and recently I’ve learned the paninis are fantastic as well. I will say it’s good to order online and pickup, and leave a little time buffer as they can get pretty busy over the lunch rush. The staff can get really busy but they’ve always been helpful and courteous.“

“Delicious!!! I had the veggie panini with a side salad and my daughter had the mozzarella and tomato panini. The bread was perfectly cooked and crispy, both sandwiches were so tasty and the salad had a light refreshing dressing on it. The service was excellent, very friendly and quick. OMG, Unbelievable sandwiches, smoked meats, homemade pickles, peppers🫑 and memorable pulled pork, etc. I hang out for a few minutes while Jerry makes my Cuban sandwich, and he has me try their smoked bacon, homemade meatballs, and more. “Food was fantastic! First time here and will definitely be back. My partner and I had the curry puffs, red curry, and slow cooked pork. Each dish was excellent.
