“I recently visited Curb Grill in Montrose, and I can’t stop raving about the experience! This family-owned gem is a must-visit for anyone craving high-quality food in a welcoming environment. I ordered the breakfast quesadilla with sausage and bacon, and it was hands-down one of the best I’ve ever had—packed with fresh, flavorful ingredients, perfectly cooked eggs, and a generous portion that left me satisfied. Every bite was a testament to the care and quality they put into their dishes.
The restaurant itself was impeccably clean, from the dining area to the counter, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The bright, well-maintained space made the whole experience even more enjoyable. What truly set Curb Grill apart, though, was the owner, Albert, whose friendliness made us feel like part of the family from the moment we walked in. His warm hospitality and genuine enthusiasm for connecting with customers elevated the visit to something special.
I wholeheartedly recommend Curb Grill to all Montrose locals looking for a fantastic meal and a great vibe. This place has earned a spot as a regular go-to for me and my family—we’ll definitely be back time and time again“

“First time coming here. Just wanted a cute vegan spot for coffee with some food. They had so many options it was hard to choose. I ended up ordering something extra to go. Everything was so good. I had the breakfast sandwich, dirty chai latte, jackfruit tacos and a tart with apples and almonds. It’s bittersweet that I live in South LA otherwise I’d be here every week. 😅“

“We were going to the Griffith park for the train ride but we decided to stop at a cafe shop first. My aunt order the hamburger with fries which she finished the whole thing. Me n my toddler we had some of her fries which it was pretty good.
I order the French toast with ham and eggs. The French toast was good but the flavor was alright to me. It was very soft. The scrambled eggs tasted better when I add some salt to it. The ham tastes good. I order the lemonade which is really good.“

“This place and never went in until a couple days ago and I got the rancheros sunny side up. The flavors were really good. I thought it was a little bit too white sauce the tortillas all the flavor was delicious. The staff was exceptionally attentive and I was just taking out. They gave me a lot of attention, which is pretty nice. Don’t see that anymore. We got a cup of coffee, which is really good and took it home far away for breakfastmaybe share with your friends.“

“We arrived within 30 minutes of closing and the hostess came outside to flag us in that they were still open. All hands on deck with happy dispositions and friendly hospitality to get our beverages and refill them consistently and our food to the table right quick.
My husband and I both had omelettes and a side of links, and the omelettes came with a house-made salsa that was divine. He also had a small order of biscuits and gravy which he adored. He is German and I am from a Greek-American diner family, and we live in Germany now. We both love the classic American diners and seek them out when we are visiting my family, and this was top tier.
The whole ambiance is iconic American diner. I wish I could import the whole place and team over to Germany to show my fellow countrymen what American cuisine and warmth tastes and feels like. I cannot recommend the bacon avocado omelette enough to you. Go now, 11/10“

“The Jolly Jug is one of those iconic places that can never be duplicated. The original Jolly Jug was in South El Monte in the 1930s and people came from all around to eat their famous Pastrami’s and Beef Dip sandwiches. Going into another century of their delicious food and cold beer, you can’t go wrong by making a pit stop here. “We had a great experience at Aloha Stacks where they provided a large takeout for a party. Betrix was very accommodating, helpful, and generous throughout the entire experience. “I’ve been cutting out refined sugar and it’s been difficult but I came across this place and I was able to have a wonderful chocolate shake with almond milk and cocoa, yes it had sugar but pure cane sugar. It was a great alternative and it taste so yummy! I was also able to add toppings, healthy toppings, strawberries, blueberries, etc. so good! Can’t wait to go back❤️“

“Anyone who's lived in Duarte forever, knows this place is a gem! I've been eating here with friends, family, even solo since 2010. This place has changed a lot, and seen some of my favorite staff members leave and grow, which is bittersweet. This location will always be my favorite, the quality is great, and they always seem to hire such caring and attentive staff. This location will always be my first choice, love ya'll : ).“

“My company used Crossroads for a very long project that required catering every weekday for over three weeks. Helen was quick on delivery, she was willing to work with us to add variation to the lunches and her prices could not be beat. The employees we were training highly complimented all the food. Sandwiches, wraps, tacos, bento bowls and salads. All of it was delicious. I cannot thank Helen a Crossroads enough for her hard work and wonderful food.“

“This place is such a hole in the wall, would honestly come back. This place been around for a while but I never know this place exist because it’s so hidden.The service is a bit slow when prepping the food, but their tacos are to die for. I would come back any day for tacos!Parking lot is shared with other shops but not too busy! The menu is consistent and so is their food!Would come back again! Don’t let the small shop and sketchy look deceive you!“

“The cafeteria is a standard food hall with lots of seating and tables.
The main reason I go here is because of their Cali Cob salad is phenomenal. As a person that has tried lots of high end salads at other establishments, this salad is one of the best cobs I’ve ever had.
Almost as great as Joey’s in DTLA. The vegetables are very fresh, the dressing is excellent. I love that it has a lot of chicken pieces that are delicious and egg along with bacon pieces. It’s a solid salad for the price and one of my favorite salads of all time. I highly recommend it.
I will definitely come back to eat that salad & I’ll continue to try their other menu items.“

“If you're looking for a good spot to eat close to the DTLA court houses, check out the Galero Grill in the Cathedral complex. A five minute walk from the court houses with good food at reasonable prices. Plus, there's a lovely patio with tables to enjoy your meal in peace (other than the Cathedral chimes on the hour). It's run by the Patina group so, although the food isn't fancy, the quality is very good.“

“We love having breakfast here on our way home from Yoga class. We go 1-2 times per week. The place is always busy, but has lots of room so we are always seated quickly. We are treated so nicely by all the staff. Our meals are served quickly. Great food and great value.“
