“This place has never disappointed me. Over the past nine years, the quality of their food has stayed incredibly consistent—which is rare and honestly impressive.
The Lomo Saltado and Pollo a la Brasa are absolute must-haves. Every time, they hit the mark. The bread and sauces they bring out at the start are also fantastic and set the tone for the meal.
On top of that, the service is always great—welcoming, friendly, and genuinely attentive.
I highly recommend this spot for any occasion, whether it’s a date night, a family dinner, or just a casual get-together with friends. Totally worth it.“

“We came from Florida and were truly impressed with this Peruvian restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavor, and tasted just like homemade cooking. “Toyitos is a jewel in the city of Downey. Best Rotisserie Chicken around. I love Chicken with fries and Salchipapas( sliced hotdogs and fries). The chicken has special peruvian flavor and peruvian sauces. Don’t forget the ice cream Lucuma flavor, and the peruvian soda Inka “

“Mamitas feels just like eating at mom’s house, comforting, flavorful, and made with care. The food tastes homemade and authentic, and the beers are nice and cold. You can tell they put a lot of heart into what they do. Definitely worth supporting this local spot and trying the calamari chicharones 🔥🔥🔥“
“I was craving for lomo saltado, and was searching for a place in the area. I found this place with great reviews, decided to come by. It is located on Garvey Ave in the same plaza of a grocery store. Parking was easy.
The decoration gave me a little Asian vibes to it. The owner is a very kind man. He is very friendly and welcoming. He offered all the customers with free drinks or soda. He speaks English, Spanish, Cantonese, and mandarin. I am amazed by that. Salute.
We ordered 2 lomo saltado, and it is the best lomo saltado I have had so far. He uses beef slices instead of steak chunk. However, no where I have been can beat the taste of it. The beef was tender and juice, and the fries were crispy!

“I rarely order Lomo Saltado when I go eat Peruvian cuisine because I'm afraid it won't taste good and I had tried many different Lomo Saltados in different locations where I don't see a reason to even try the plate and leave a review. My intuition told me to try it out here at this location and I wasn't one bit disappointed. Best Lomo Saltado I had in Los Angeles. I tried the Ceviche ✅ I tried the Tallarines a la huancaina with a Medium Well Steak delicious 🤤. Amazing Amazing Amazing!“
