“The best spicy Chinese Food in OC/LA area hands down! They have been Michelin recommended for a reason. Their food has lots of depth of umami flavors with a good amount of spice with a refined touch. Their none spicy broths are especially good too. My faves are their dry pots, toothpick lambs, Qiao Jiao Beef. We also like their spicy ribs and boiled fish in chilli sauce, and Mao cai. Service is great too!“

“This was my first time trying Xiaolongkan Hot Pot and it won’t be my last! The broth was rich and flavorful, and the ingredients were all fresh. But what really stood out was the excellent service. Our server cookie was incredibly helpful, checking in often to see if we needed anything, and always making sure we were comfortable. They made the experience feel effortless and enjoyable.“

“I ordered Pop’s Trio that comes with each skewer of chicken, beef, and beef koobideh (luleh); white rice and lettuce salad with lemon vinaigrette; savory hummus; cucumber, tomato salad; grilled pepper; and a pita bread. All the vegetables were fresh, and the meat was seasoned well. My favorite one was beef koobideh.

The mobile ordering process was straightforward and convenient, but when I went there for pick-up, it was a bit confusing about which counter to go to for pick-up because there was no one at the cashier counter and apparently the area around the right side of the counter next to refrigerator when entering the restaurant had more space for customers to order and wait. Also, I didn't find the staff welcoming or approachable, but the person who cooked and gave me my pickup order was very warm and hospitable.

“This place is different than other Chinese food. The flavor is unique in its own. But don’t compare their spiciness with the likes of Chengdu or Hunan…it’s milder and delicate in fragrance. If you eat super spicy, don’t come here because you will not get the heat fix you want. If you want to experience different kind of taste and explore different kind of Chinese food this is the place. My kids even enjoyed it. The service from bottom up is awesome, patient and accommodating.“

“Auntie Qiu Kitchen’s Pork XLB definitely hit the spot for my partner and me when we had cravings for XLB in Alhambra, didn’t get to try their crab and pork XLB but we'll have to come back to try it out! I definitely recommend the fried pork chop sticky rice cake, it’s super crispy, savory and the glaze on the pounded crispy rice cake is a great compliment. The server was nice and attentive and the food came out extremely fast!“

“My wife and I had an amazing night out here. The drinks were fantastic and the vegetarian / vegan food was fantastic. Such a great atmosphere. As a vegetarian who doesn’t drink, but loves a good mocktail, I was thrilled with our experience. It was definitely the perfect date night spot. “The pastrami dip at The Hat is legendary, and for good reason. The portions are massive, and the meat is juicy and tender. The fries are also ridiculously large—enough to share with two or three people. The place has a no-frills, diner-like feel. It’s indulgent comfort food at its best“

“I am only rating the popcorn chicken Ramen! That is the item I've had 4 times. The restaurant is kinda hidden. If you ever go there, they are right in front of the alhambra carwash and its in a brick building.

The chicken is mild. Medium or hot spice level. Soup is super hot and tasty.

It is quite a treat. You should definitely try this item if its your 1st time. If you are mexican and like spicy like me get medium spice and xtra spice on the side in case you like it very spicy! Will definitely keep going.“

“If you are in the San Gabriel Valley area you must stop here if you want amazing Sashimi. Started with fatty Tuna that melted in my mouth so fresh delicious then moved on to giant Clams (Mirugai) it was sweet & crunchy I could have gone for second order not many sushi restaurants have (Mirugai)The fatty belly Salmon was buttery & the spicy Tuna hand roll sashimi was perfect coz I’m a spicy food addict it was just heavenly for me. Yum yum 🤤 ended with Kumamoto Oyster 🦪 it was so sweet like cotton candy in your mouth made me wanting more which I did order more. Lol 😂 The house hot Sake was good for a cold night paired so well with my amazing Sashimi! Great way to end my Friday night here! Thank you Chef!“

“Very kind and friendly staff! Everything was freshly made to order, juicy, and very flavorful. This was also very affordable. The scallion oil noodles, and beef/cilantro dumplings were our standouts but we loves everything we ordered.

We would love to revisit someday when we travel back to this area!“

“Liangpi LA is the most delicious. As a Xi'an native, I have eaten all over Xi'an restaurants in Los Angeles. This is the first time I have tasted something so delicious. In other restaurants, they are either not vinegary enough or the dishes are messy.
The attitude of the boss and waiters is very good.“

Customer service was also good! My husband didn’t know what to order, and the server helped him choose something that hit the spot.“

“Great boba place. I came here after a walk as the sun was beaming and this place was a nice break.

I ordered a Dancing Crane Black Tea, and it was great. It was recommended to me, and I can see why, due to its sweet and milky. The boba was a bit chewy but light.

The atmosphere of the shop was open and clean, and the cashier who recommended me the drink was very nice (Thank you Lucy).

“This place is a hidden gem in Alhambra. The fish is incredibly fresh, the portions are generous, and the variety on the all-you-can-eat menu is impressive — from classic nigiri to creative rolls and tasty appetizers like baked mussels and garlic edamame.

Service was friendly and fast, and the sushi chefs really know what they’re doing. Even during busy hours, everything came out beautifully plated and delicious. You can tell they care about both quality and presentation.

Definitely worth the price — I left full, satisfied, and already planning my next visit. If you're craving AYCE sushi in the SGV, this is the spot to hit. Highly recommended!“

“My wife and I shared a beef burrito, and the Carne Asada salad. The dressing to the salad was really tasty, and the steak was better prepared than a steak I had any fancy restaurant last weekend. The burrito was just simple goodness … not too fancy or over done. This is a family owned business that supports the community. Support them … take the family to lunch or dinner You won’t be disappointed!“

“It's right next to the movie theater. You have to park in the theater parking structure and walk over. This place was ok. Pretty expensive for a burger fries and a beer. Cost me $35. Smash burger was good but not mind blowing. Also the sauce being like $1.50 is a total rip off. Good but way overpriced.“

“I was a doorman to one of the Main Street bars, and customers would always tell me to go checkout Jay Dee's. So I finally did after 2 years. It's a cool place to hang out and have a drink. Drinks are reasonable, and it's a cash only bar. Customers are friendly too, & no haters. Has pool tables and darts. No, dj, but they have a jukebox playing cool music. Bartenders are friendly and treat everyone like family. I would go back 😊👍🍻🥂“

We ordered a variety of dishes from the menu to share. All of the dishes from the lobster,turbot fish,soup,chicken,and crispy squab were freshly prepared. Every dish was delicious! Service was great and consistent throughout the night. Staff would check in every now and then to see if we needed anything and would immediately remove anything we were done with and bring anything we needed. I would highly recommend the private dining for any group gatherings or celebrations. It was nice to have our own space for the night and food and service were exceptional.“

I’ve never had anything else to be honest, because I just fell in love with this dish, so much, but I’m pretty sure that they’re dishes will satisfy your hunger as well.“

“When I want a really good Matcha Latte I go here. The Matcha Latte is comparable to Caffè Al Teatro in Las Vegas at The Wynn. I have been searching for a place here in SoCal that compares and I’m happy to say that I have found it. Service is 4 stars because the customer behind me wanted some of the food options they offered but they were either sold out or don’t offer it at the time of day when O had visited.
