“The best spicy Chinese Food in OC/LA area hands down! They have been Michelin recommended for a reason. Their food has lots of depth of umami flavors with a good amount of spice with a refined touch. Their none spicy broths are especially good too. My faves are their dry pots, toothpick lambs, Qiao Jiao Beef. We also like their spicy ribs and boiled fish in chilli sauce, and Mao cai. Service is great too!“
“Delicious and unique food from a region of China we hadn’t experienced before. The owner and staff are friendly and thoughtful. They accommodated our large group and made us feel really at home. The Miao sour soup fish fillets and velvet mushroom dry pot, as well as the pork with clamshell buns, were particularly outstanding.“

“I love when you find a new restaurant and you can tell there’s love and passion built into every detail of the experience. My wife and I had an amazing time at Free Spirited. We met the owners Amber and Arleo and they were so friendly and welcoming. With regards to the food it was just as heartwarming. Don’t skip out on this spot! Also don’t be deceived by the menus! It reads for the omnivores in mind but everything is vegan and then you have to add meat, etc. if you want it. The couple asks for dietary restrictions up front and are great at explaining everything if you have additional questions. Updated from previous review on 2026-01-11“

“Spectacular! Everything is delicious, meats are super tender & flavorful. I had a request of how I wanted things packed and they were able to accommodate with a positive vibe. This is my 3rd visit here and we will continue. Highly recommend.“

“The pastrami dip at The Hat is legendary, and for good reason. The portions are massive, and the meat is juicy and tender. The fries are also ridiculously large—enough to share with two or three people. The place has a no-frills, diner-like feel. It’s indulgent comfort food at its best“

“If you are in the San Gabriel Valley area you must stop here if you want amazing Sashimi. Started with fatty Tuna that melted in my mouth so fresh delicious then moved on to giant Clams (Mirugai) it was sweet & crunchy I could have gone for second order not many sushi restaurants have (Mirugai)The fatty belly Salmon was buttery & the spicy Tuna hand roll sashimi was perfect coz I’m a spicy food addict it was just heavenly for me. Yum yum 🤤 ended with Kumamoto Oyster 🦪 it was so sweet like cotton candy in your mouth made me wanting more which I did order more. Lol 😂 The house hot Sake was good for a cold night paired so well with my amazing Sashimi! Great way to end my Friday night here! Thank you Chef!“
“To open a new Chinese restaurant in SGV, you better be good, or go broke. Auntie Qiu's specialities are legit. I was having lunch by myself, but I had to try their 2 specialties: the crab XLB and their pan-fried baos. Both excellent.
Order via the QR code. Faster. Or you can wait for the staff to take your order, which may take longer.“

Customer service was also good! My husband didn’t know what to order, and the server helped him choose something that hit the spot.“

“I’ve always passed by here but never tried it. So let’s see if they’re pretty good eh or ew. I got their spring rolls, takoyaki, and popcorn chicken ramen to try. The spring rolls were interestingly cut but very good. Crispy shell with savory veggie filling. Also came with a side of soy sauce for dipping. The takoyaki were crisp with a gooey center, topped with like a sweet mayo, and had a tender not too fish piece of octopus in the middle. The popcorn chicken ramen came with a BUNCH of MASSIVE pieces of crispy, juicy, savory chicken. Like can u even call this popcorn chicken still if they’re this big? Surprisingly paired well with the ramen which also came with came with green onions and pickled ginger, that helped add a brightness to the bowl and wood ear mushrooms, and half an egg. The broth was really savory but not super rich and oily which my sensitive tummy appreciated. The noodles also surprisingly stayed pretty chewy while I was eating them even tho they were soaking up the broth. This place is pretty good.“

“Came here for the first time on a Saturday afternoon. And ordering was very easy since you do it through a QR code but you can also ask for a menu and order that way as well. Food came within 10 to 15 minutes and everything was very hot and fresh. The meat pies were really hot and filled with yummy juices. The scallion pancakes were very very yummy. I highly recommend getting the cucumbers. Service was decent but don't be expecting conversations from these ladies. They bring you your food and that's about it. I can't wait to come back and the prices are so worth it.“

“Eat’s Sushi Alhambra is hands down one of the best AYCE sushi spots around! The value for the price is unbeatable — you get top-quality sushi made with the freshest fish and ingredients. Every piece tastes clean, flavorful, and well-prepared. You can really tell they prioritize freshness and quality over quantity. The service is quick, the staff is friendly, and the overall dining experience is smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for premium sushi without the premium price tag! 🍣👏“

“What truly sets this place apart is the incredible hospitality. The owners make us feel like family every time we visit, and their positive energy is contagious. “Last minute pick for a business dinner, and my colleagues weren't disappointed. The rolls were good, but the sashimi was amazing. One colleague said the best she's ever had, and I'd place it among my top 3. Their fish is on point, so is their service. Spaced out tables let's you really soak in the atmosphere and enjoy your table's conversation. Visit this area pretty frequently and will definitely be back. Thank you!!“

“My wife and I shared a beef burrito, and the Carne Asada salad. The dressing to the salad was really tasty, and the steak was better prepared than a steak I had any fancy restaurant last weekend. The burrito was just simple goodness … not too fancy or over done. This is a family owned business that supports the community. Support them … take the family to lunch or dinner You won’t be disappointed!“

“Amazing food. After living in Beijing for many years hotpot became something for those cold days to get the chill out of the bones. I can say for sure that Xiao Long Kan is as authentic as it gets in the US! Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a taste of Zhong Guo“

“Let me just say that Andrew who runs Ohana Brewing Company is an amazing person. It’s clear he has a passion for both brewing and making guests feel welcome. The way he shares his knowledge about the beers and their brewing process adds a personal touch that really enhances the experience. Whether you're a craft beer enthusiast or just looking for a chill spot to unwind, Ohana Brewing Co. hits the mark. The space is cozy, and the selection is varied enough to keep things interesting—whether you’re into hoppy IPAs, smooth stouts, or something in between. It’s a perfect local spot to enjoy a drink, relax, and chat with friends or even meet new people. Highly recommend it if you’re in the area!“

“Small business of teas and snacks. All drinks are very good. You can order online or in person.
Most of the time is 2 people taking care of orders and one person comes to the register to take in person orders. You might have to wait a bit but it's worth it. 😊“

Our first time here. A lot of foot traffic coming and going. Everything tasted wonderful, the right amount of tea flavor and sweetness in every drink. So many different drinks to choose from, will definitely come back to try more.“

“To be honest, which is a phrase I hardly ever use. In this case it fits, “to be honest”, I don’t think I would have ever found this burger spot!!! However since going there, I think you should too. The fries are 10 out of 10 very fresh and the burger (mines without sauce) is a 10 out of 10 to my liking. The customer service is amazing. I walked in and the first worker I came in contact with had a very pleasant and inviting smile on her face. The other young lady is just a nice and was eager to serve.
The manager showed me I was in a good place to enjoy good food along with good service.
The amibiance with the great service and excellent food is why I’m sharing this spot you should visit.
Also, I came home a reheated those fresh tasting fries and they still taste top notch“
“I love this place! My boyfriend and I were getting boba and the smell is what brought us in! Thank god for that smell of their amazing red oil looking sauce they give with meat. The workers were so kind and helped us! I used a translator to help us communicate and he gave us everything we hoped to try. It was soooooo good! We have loved every single item we have tried!“

“We have breakfast/lunch here 4-5 times a month. Food is good and very reasonably priced. Service is always amazing. Denise is the best but all servers are very nice and attentive. Love that they always have my coffee cup filled with fresh hot coffee.“
“Impressive looks from the outside, very trendy and upscale. Inside is quite nice with great vibe and the grand showcase was the bar and TVs with sport. Very nice and big. Plenty of seating and 2 private rooms if you want privacy or big party. The venue has it own parking lot and it has a lot of spaces, plus there is/are street parking nearby with both paid and not pay. Service is friendly and nice but can be slow sometimes since our waitress was covering about 7-8 table with party of 4+. We’re the least of them all, only 3 people. Menu was easy and with plenty of choices from cold to hot dishes, from varies of meats to veggies and seafoods plus desserts. But once you order, it takes awhile for each dish to come…our 1st dish took about 15-18mins then 5-8mins for next dish. For some reason, our beef chow fun took about 30mins to it to arrived. By then, we’re almost done with others…we tasted and have it to go. Also, I asked for chilli sauce to one of the helper, she told that I have to ask our waitress, which was taking order from 3 differ tables. By the time she came by, I requested plus ordered another cocktail, then she went on to take order to another table. Then 6mins later, I got the chilli. Foods wise, not bad at all, the frog legs while delish but doesn’t taste any lemongrass at all. The eggplants are quite unique and quite enjoyable. The chow fun and the sweet & sour pork are good and just nothing special about it. The drinks are the best from my pov. All meal was about $135 w/o tip total. Worth it? Somewhat, but I’m sure there are other dishes will be a delightful. Will come back if we’re in the area to give it another try.“

“Always great service! 💗 Though I am a bit upset as I ordered a Strawberry Peach Blast & got a Berry Blast instead which is more expensive, I got overcharged. I would still give this place 5 stars, owner is nice. I would come again. But I’m hoping next time before the order is taken, verify with the owner as I am a business owner myself. I would always verify with the customer to make sure I’m getting what they want or need.“

“This is one of the places that has been a staple for decades but doesn't get talked about enough. “This place is so good I had to leave a great review . I love the fact I can I can modify my broth with as much or little with things like garlic or green onion. Both was on point. Meat was great, but the choices in veggy and add-ons were the best. Wife and daughter were happy too.“

“When I want a really good Matcha Latte I go here. The Matcha Latte is comparable to Caffè Al Teatro in Las Vegas at The Wynn. I have been searching for a place here in SoCal that compares and I’m happy to say that I have found it. Service is 4 stars because the customer behind me wanted some of the food options they offered but they were either sold out or don’t offer it at the time of day when O had visited. The atmosphere looks cool nice, I’ll have to dine in one of these days to really enjoy what this place offers.“
