“My Wife and I had an outstanding experience in the tasting room with Alvaro after just coming across it on our honeymoon, Alvaro tailored the wine tasting around us and chatted with us about wine showing his extensive knowledge and educating us in a lot of different aspects about wineyards and how the wine is made. We bought a bottle of the 2018 Cabernet sauvignon which is an amazing wine. We can't wait to come back!“
“Such an underrated winery. We found Fontanella on Reddit of all places as we were looking for a winery close to the center of Napa & we were very impressed with the tasting + tour.
Marianne made our experience one of a kind with her knowledge of both the winery and its different wines, even allowing us to compare a few different years to experience all flavors.

“My best friend and I were lucky enough to have a tour and tasting with David N during our visit a month ago. He was so welcoming and knowledgeable! Our visit was a perfect mix of learning about the property and its history, the wines and unique location in the valley, and just enjoying the beautiful setting. David was the perfect host and balanced education with relaxation; giving us the right amount of information with space to sit and drink our wines. David made our visit truly special and it was our favorite tasting of the trip. I was so impressed, i joined the wine club before we left. “If you ever find yourself in the area, please go visit. The service is amazing, Jace (I hope I spelled your name right) showed us how to properly taste wine and showed us around the vineyard. This was an extremely memorable. 11/10 experience“
“This place is great. There are a lot of tasting rooms in downtown Napa, but most are overhyped. This place is right off 1st street and has some of the best wine I have tasted, and the service is excellent. I really enjoy coming here because it feels comfortable and enjoyable, but also the wine is just freaking great.Pro tip: try the Cabernet Franc and ask for Daniel - he’s a great dude and makes the experience wonderful.“
“McKenzie-Mueller is a delightful small batch vineyard. We thoroughly enjoyed everything on the tasting flight, but we were particularly impressed by the Cab Franc ‘18 and Cab Sauv ‘14. Steve is an excellent host and tasting guide - he is incredibly knowledgable and passionate about his job. Highly recommend a visit to this little gem.Oh and they are dog friendly!“
