“My Wife and I had an outstanding experience in the tasting room with Alvaro after just coming across it on our honeymoon, Alvaro tailored the wine tasting around us and chatted with us about wine showing his extensive knowledge and educating us in a lot of different aspects about wineyards and how the wine is made. We bought a bottle of the 2018 Cabernet sauvignon which is an amazing wine. We can't wait to come back!“

“Nicholson Ranch is a winery slightly “off the beaten” pass as you’re coming or going from Sonoma to Napa that offers Chardonnay and Pinot noir grown on their estate. Their Cabernet, which is source from Napa and is labeled under the name of the new owner. The tasting flight consists of five wine and is $50. If you buy four bottles or more they wave for tasting fee. The flight includes one Chardonnay, two Pinot Noirs,, a red blend and a Cabernet. The pinots are a bit earthy, musty, and cost around $95/bottle. These are not baby Cabernets. These are very European “Old world” style red wine. The estate is beautiful. There is a Greek church up on the hilltop built by the Nicholson family a while they own some of the land they sold of the winery. The tasting room is beautiful with a big window overlooking the hilltop and they actually play music that gives you the right ambience to just relaxing and enjoy the wine. Mike is a fantastic host and runs a fun and very educational enjoyable wine like podcast.“
“My group of friends and I went here for my bachelorette party for a tasting on the patio. It was outstanding, from the views to the amazing service and the quality of wine! The charcuterie and cheese board and macarons were delightful as well. I'd return here in a heartbeat.“

“I discovered this jewel on my last day in California while looking for a vineyard that offered sweet wine. I was fortunate enough to receive a private tour from the owner's beautiful daughter and I learned the rich history of the vineyard. After tasting a couple of sweet wines, I was impressed and ordered 4 bottles that were shipped to my home. I will continue to order from Ceja Vineyards! ??“

“McKenzie-Mueller is a delightful small batch vineyard. We thoroughly enjoyed everything on the tasting flight, but we were particularly impressed by the Cab Franc ‘18 and Cab Sauv ‘14. Steve is an excellent host and tasting guide - he is incredibly knowledgable and passionate about his job. Highly recommend a visit to this little gem.Oh and they are dog friendly!“

“Go try this place if you love cabs and you love true winemaking craftsmanship. It's by appointment only. However, go if you truly love wine and sincerely appreciate everything that goes into making such wines. This tasting experience is not the average tasting experience. Firstly, I want to state that my wife and I both were honored to have had the privilege to share such a touching tasting experience with the Montes family over the Memorial Day holiday weekend. It is a memory that my wife and I will always cherish.Secondly, one can easily tell that the Montes brothers are experts at what they do by one simple taste. This may be a low production vineyard, but it is top notch quality and it is clearly evident that the Montes brothers are gifted at coaxing ambrosiac wines from the Mother Earth. Their love of family and their history in the wine industry is their foundation that propels them to make such great wines. They are a beautiful family, salt of the Earth people, who all work hard to provide the best of what Mother Earth has to offer to us. They are perfectionists and it shows in their wines. It is readily apparent that they are not only incredibly talented, but they LOVE what they do. That familial LOVE, RESPECT, and HONOR that is witnessed in their family pervades in the vines that they cultivate and the wines that they make. They choose to share their gifts with us. In my humble opinion, they do what they do with overwhelming love and joy. You can taste it in their wines..........LOVE.“
“The absolute best winery visit we had during a week in the valley. It's not the flashy Disney-esque experience you find at the multi-million-dollar tasting rooms. It's not the hired help leading you through their scripted spiel & trying to sell you something. What Tulocay is is the most engaging, personal, interesting, hilarious, and memorable 90 minutes a person can have tasting wine with the person who made it - and who has been making it for decades. All the history, stories & experiences that Bill shared were the "perfect pairing" for the wines being served. Great wines too, that you'll want to buy & take home.“
