“You know what. I love Sushi and I’ve traveled around trying many sushi restaurants trying to find unique quality sushi restaurants that have that flare to make you want to come back again and again. I found that this Sushi restaurant was one of those I would visit again. You know what sets it apart. Is the sushi guys at the sushi bar that welcome you in and make sure to say goodbye on your way out. Not only is there a great greeting, but the service is great too. Even though they are small they pumped out the orders with great speed and finesse. Also, they have very unique sushi rolls that I haven’t seen at most sushi bars. As a sushi enthusiast, it fabulous to find new rolls to try and of course stick with the occasional favorites. Thanks again for the great food and we hope to visit you once again when we are back in town.“

“One of the best omakases I’ve ever had. Although it was on the pricier side, it was pretty worth every penny. The chef was very welcoming and friendly as well as the servers. Really enjoyable and unique experience with fish I have never heard of, including the white salmon.“

He don’t really eat fish, but when he tasted the hamachi kama , he said it’s the best tasting grilled fish. We’re from Arizona, but my sister in law and her husband is just 5 miles away from this sushi restaurant. We’re the one who introduced this place to them . “My favorite sushi spot! Every time I've been in, I've had a great time, from great caring servers, to high quality fish, to delicately built plates. Hard to go wrong here. The fish can be a little pricey at times (since they're all market rate), but they do offer high quality options like chu toro, king salmon, and bluefin tuna. Good portion sizes too, whether rolls, sashimi, or other plates. Definitely check this spot out if you haven't already, you won't be disappointed.“

J Sushi knows how to do it right. We stopped in for lunch when we got to California and it was so good we came back the next day. We tried a few rolls, nigiri, udon, and some of their fried options. Everything came out fast, fresh, and full of flavor. Clean, balanced, and delicious from start to finish.

The Vibe:
Casual, comfortable, and welcoming. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxed lunch or an easy dinner. Simple décor, friendly faces, and great food which is exactly what you want from a neighborhood sushi place.

“This is definitely one of our consistent go to spots and honestly I am surprised I am just now writing a review for Sake 2 Me Sushi. We have brought multiple friends here over time and everyone always leaves impressed. The all you can eat pricing is actually really solid especially for the quality of fish you get and you truly get a lot. Orders come out fast too usually within five to ten minutes which is honestly impressive. The fish quality really stands out for an AYCE spot especially the spicy tuna salmon and toro. The no rice rolls are my personal favorite because they are just a straight protein overload crab tuna salmon albacore all packed in heavy and generous. Even the regular rolls have a ton of fish and great flavor especially with the sauces they pair them with which definitely pack a punch. Cant go wrong with the gyoza and the spicy garlic edamame is a must every time. The miso soup is also really good creamy light and balanced not watery not too thick just right. We tried a Hawaiian style roll with a crunchy topping and albacore which was amazing and the roll sizes are huge. My wife got a spicy tuna roll with spicy mayo and a teriyaki glaze and she loved it. And the blue toro was honestly a surprise in the best way possible the sashimi cut was generous and the quality was way better than expected for all you can eat. Overall this place is always a win and easily one of our top all you can eat sushi spots. Highly recommend“

“This small sushi restaurant may not have the luxury fancy interior decor but the food beats out pretty much all the high end sushi restaurants. The fish selection, grade and quality is incredible. Sushi rice is prepared right and very light and perfect compliment to raw fish. Sashimi just melts in your mouth. You don't need soy sauce here as the fish is already marinaded and prepped to be eaten right away.“

“Went for a quick breakfast. Got a Mocha Latte and a Sausage and Bacon breakfast burrito. I thought it was a little pricey at $21. Burrito had a lot of potatoes and a little underseasoned. Overall it was really good and all ingredients tasted homemade. The atmosphere was different, yes it was a little cluttered but I personally dont mind that. “I've been to this sushi bar a few times, they never disappoint. I like that they have plenty of options with no crab meat, and I like their yellowtail rolls. The amount of fish in the rolls is generous, and the size of a portion is big. The second set of the rolls is 50% off before 3 pm (not sure if that works everyday or just weekends)“

“Super slow - came before opening and signed up for the waitlist. At opening they process the waitlist in order one at a time with a 15 minute grace period per group. It’s just so inefficient - when the restaurant is completely empty why not at least do it in batches.

It’s crazy for the restaurant to still be half empty 50 minutes after opening and only like 10 groups have been processed.

Food is good but honestly just not worth it for an hour wait, let alone two. This is the wait I expect for a premium sushi spot not a more casual one. Would not come back until they figure out how to process their lines more effectively.

Seared Engawa is fire tho.
