“We have been wanting to go to Bravante Vineyards for some time now as we recently were gifted their 2017 Merlot, which we absolutely loved. Jeff was our host and he was incredibly knowledgeable and such a pleasure to chat with. We felt like we had known him forever. All of Bravante’s wines were delicious and we couldn’t help but purchase a case of their reds to take home. We also joined their wine club. We live locally and are looking forward to our next visit. Thanks for your stellar hospitality Jeff!”
“This is an amazing winery with amazing wines. While they only produce 2500 bottles of their own most of the wine that they make or made for others, the wine testing experiences, extremely elegant, and you are served at the wine cave during the harvest seasons, like October, you can smell the fermentation of the wine, which is wonderful. This is not your average $20 bottle of wine. I recommend this place for serious wine enthusiast who won nothing but the best most of the wines are made to be stored for 7 to 10 years. The owners and the sommelier are great people that will treat you like their own.”
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Must-Visit Winery with Incredible Wine and Even Better Hospitality!
Let’s start with the fact that we may have gotten a little lost on the way (who knew Google Maps wasn’t a sommelier?), but thankfully, our host at CADE Estate Winery welcomed us with open arms and a full glass—exactly how every great experience should begin.
From the first sip to the last, the wines were chef’s kiss perfection. I wanted to revisit so many of them that I briefly considered “accidentally” getting lost again just for a second tasting. Each pour was better than the last, making it dangerously easy to forget time existed.
But the real star of the show? Our host. If winery tours were a sport, they’d be the MVP. Charming, knowledgeable, and so engaging that we could have sat there for hours, sipping and soaking in every story about the estate.
If you’re putting together a Napa tour list, CADE needs to be on it. Just don’t trust your GPS too much—getting lost might just be part of the experience!”

“Solbar is a beautiful spot tucked into Napa Valley perfect for a relaxing, elevated lunch in between wine tastings. The setting is calm and peaceful, which we really appreciated. You could actually hear each other talk which is rare and refreshing these days.
I popped in with two girlfriends for a late lunch, and the service was excellent from start to finish. Our server was warm, attentive, and helpful with the menu. We ordered a variety of dishes to share: the lettuce wraps were fresh and flavorful, the sourdough rolls with spinach dip hit the spot, and the fish tacos were light and delicious. We also shared drinks and the “Lite Lunch,” which was a fun way to sample a few things.
The only miss unfortunately a big one were the Solbar Nuggets. They came out overly greasy and just weren’t edible. None of us could get through them, and that was disappointing, especially at this price point. What left an even worse taste in our mouths (no pun intended) was that our server acknowledged the issue and wanted to comp them, but management refused. For a nearly $200 lunch, that lack of flexibility felt out of step with the rest of the experience.
Great service, beautiful setting, mostly solid food but that one moment really stuck us.”

“They aren't kidding that this is a "local favorite". Everything we ordered was delicious and they were quite accommodating about me bringing my own, local wine. They also have an impressive business model worthy of support! I'm going back here next week! <3”
“Always a wonderful experience”
“I just opened my first bottle of 2021 Zinfandel to go with my freshly butcher, farmed raised, grass fed filet. I moved to Kansas 5-years ago and I’m happy to be able to order my favorite CA wines that I’m so spoiled by. This Zinfandel far exceeds my expectations. Wish my Dad was still with us because this is something we shared a passion for. I know he would agree with me. Impressive Zinfandel. Thank you!!”
“What a fun birthday celebration for my husband at Hall Wines, we had the most amazing time with phenomenal experience and their wines are sooooo good! This made it to my Top 4 fav wines globally. The staff is great too.”

“This place is a classic little deli! Their sandwiches are always amazing, and they have a wide variety to pick from. I recommend getting Guigni juice on your sandwich. They have tons of other things like drinks, chips, old-time candies/ treats, and my favorite deviled eggs ever.”
“Great tour with David. We learned so much! The wine selection was fabulous.”
“Andrea Perkins was a thoughtful and attentive wine educator, listening to my preferences and recommending Nickel and Nickel cabs she believed were well-suited.
I’m grateful for her kind assistance. As always, my visit was very enjoyable and satisfying. I value my Far Niente wine club membership.”
“Was a total vibe. Hidden gem with great views that I immediately regret telling you about. Accepts walk-ins. Barbera and Pinot Noir were both excellent. We brought in snacks and had a picnic at one of the tables and it was lovely.”

“The service here is outstanding. A few negative points for food portion size and frankly, the resturant is just too gray in color. Otherwise, loved the experience and the hotel accommodations were splendid... One of my favorite hotels in the area.”
“Great experience. Had a wonderful tasting as well as a great discussion on various subjects with Luis. He even provided some tips on the next leg of our trip. The Zinfandel was stunning, just wish I lived nearer Napa”

“Great atmosphere! And great story about how it came to be.”
“Napa Valley’s new hidden gem is Robert’s Tropical Table located in a converted breezeway/parking lot adjacent to the Mount View Hotel right here in Calistoga. Robert has been known for a decade as one of the handful of magical mixologists in our Valley having a long bar run at Sol Bar (until they closed for remodel and Covid) and then Brasswood before launching his rendition of a Jamaican Beach Cafe. His Ocho Rios roots come alive with a delicious selection of jerk chicken, pork belly, and wings with an escovitch fish perhaps better than mine. And never to be missed are the festival dumplings and a perfect Dark and Stormy. Open DAILY when the music is playing and gates are ajar (3pm to 10pm).”
“Moim zdaniem najlepsze wina w Napa. Bardzo miła i pomocna obsługa, która z uwaga wsłuchuje się w oczekiwania gości!”
“Visited Cakebread on 12/20/24 for a tasting tour and it was absolutely incredible! The property is simply amazing and our host, Charlie was truly a pleasure to listen to! I loved all the wines tasted and bought the bottle of the Pinot Noir!
Thank you so much Charlie for showing us a great time!”
“Round Pond Estate offers an exceptional virtual wine-tasting experience that truly exceeded our expectations. Christina's outstanding customer service made us feel welcome and valued. She is incredibly knowledgeable about their wines, and their vineyard sharing fascinating details, and pairing suggestions.
I highly recommend their virtual wine tasting—it’s a fantastic way to enjoy their exquisite wines from the comfort of your home while still feeling connected to their vineyard. The care and attention they put into every detail truly makes it an outstanding experience!”

“Great place for afternoon drink and taco, downside: drinks served in plastic, (because poolside). Add the chips and salsa, wont disappoint. We prefer the standard Margarita, rather than the special one.
Dietary restrictions: Good with Gluten Free and Dairy Free”

“Our stop at Red Cap was truly special and memorable, owing exclusively to the warmth and generosity of vineyard owner, Tom, and Red Cap’s proprietor, Chris. The wines are enchanting and delicious, and the walking tour of some of the vineyard included some interesting insights into the joys and challenges of growing fruit on Howell Mountain. Thanks for a magical visit to the property!”
