“Had them twice and both times have been great. I needed one more visit to make a judgment call. First visit was kung pao chicken and it was very delicious. But I needed to try a fried plate like general chicken. The general chicken is fire! It’s not all breading! You’re getting full on chicken and the sauce is crazy! Very delicious. They are the truth no doubt.“

“The best and authentic dumpling spot in town. You can see through a glass window how they make dumplings so you know its not some frozen packaged dookie. Soup dumplings and pork dumplings were my favorite. Other dishes like chicken chowmein, walnut shrimp, and orange chicken are exceptionally good and not even comparable to panda express. Really really good food. Highly recommend.“

“Wow! Finally, a GREAT chinese restaurant in this part of town. I have been to a lot of chinese restaurants in my life and this one really stands out for excellent with many authentic dishes. May was our server. She was wonderful. May helped us select dishes. The food was fresh and the produce was super fresh and clean. We tried the Magic Chili Chicken, absolutely delicious and spicy. The Chow Fun was the best I have ever had, wonderful flavors. We also tried the Spicy Pork Dumpling appetizer, amazing flavors and the sauce was so good I was eating it with a spoon. We got our usual General Tao's Chicken, but theirs was so good, the flavors. Not your typical version swimming in a heavy sugar syrup. I actually felt good after eating dinner there. We are going back next week, I can't wait any longer, and we are excited to try more dishes.“

The server /staff split our soup. I asked her at first if it was something we can share but I ended up adding the Hao Bao Garden Set. “Yue Huang in the Natomas area earns its hype in the Sac area. There is almost always a line for dim sum on the weekends so be prepared for that. YH is a fun place to go to because the exterior and bathrooms scream Macaroni Grill, but walking inside it becomes a classic Chinese dim sum banquet hall! This review is based on their dim sum menu.

Yue Huang has a bunch of options and my wife and I intend to eat through their entire menu to try to distill our favorite things. So far we have thoroughly enjoyed their shanghai pan-fried buns, steam rice roll w/breadstick, steam golden shrimp rice roll, and crispy pork belly.

I highly recommend you go with a group of adventurous eaters because as any good dim sum veteran knows: more people means more dishes you can try!“

“This is one of those “hole in the wall” spots with really great food and decent prices you don’t wanna miss! We stopped here on a whim, and walked in to a completely empty unassuming place where they had an s Warriors game on TV (which we loved as Dub heads lol) and sat down. We ordered honey walnut shrimp (YUM) and a variety of other dishes that were really, really great! We walked out full with enough food for dinner both of us and lunch for him the next day 😂 Definitely going back - I keep thinking about that honey walnut shrimp and the pork fried rice!“

“I’ve been here twice now and I can’t believe how good it is. I can’t say that I know what authentic Chinese food is, but the taste is very different from the usual Chinese-American places. It reminds me of places in Chinatown in San Francisco.

I had the Kung pao chicken and Chongqing chicken (which already tells you that it’s not your usual place) and they’re very flavorful while not being overtly sweet or salty. I also get an idea of a Chinese restaurant based on the hot and sour soup and this place makes one of the best in the area. It’s different enough to notice.

I highly recommend this place for anyone who loves Chinese-American food, but wants something a bit different from the 99% of the Chinese restaurants out there. And you can also have the usual chow mein or orange chicken if you want.“

“Went here for the first time a few weeks back. When you enter it is very clean and modern which I liked. They take you to a table and get you drinks and then you can go ahead grab food. The food was okay and none of the seafood tasted off. The staff was nice but gave some weird looks which I was confused by but would come by pretty often to clean up plates. There was some faint music but I don't know if that was due to volume of people talking or in general. They do take a service charge of 10% I believe for groups over 6 people so be aware of that. Overall I would come here again.“

Sweet and Sour pork was ok and had no pineapple in it which was odd. Chewy and not great tasting pork. Chow mein was good. Broccoli beef was good. Really 3.5 stars so 4 stars os generous. We won't be back. $55 for 4 items is insane. Sorry.“

“One of the first times ordering from DoorDash to deliver to my elderly mother. I ordered her favorite crab cheese wontons. But when she received them she said they were fried to much. That they were hard to eat. She had to break in half to eat the center of it. I also got some chow mein and fried rice. Which she said was really delicious. And some wonton soup for my brother who wasn’t feeling well. Overall the food was really good. Just a little disappointed about the fried wontons. Will still most likely order again in the future. Perhaps to get a better batch of the crab wontons.“
